My cats have been seen at Best Friends Pet Clinic since they were very young. We recently lost one of our 15-year old cats and Best Friends was very responsive to the medical issues our cat was having, fit him in for an appointment, and referred him to another vet for more testing. When it was time to say 'Goodbye' to our sweet boy, Dr. Thein made herself available and was very compassionate. I am very satisfied with the service and care our pets are given at Best Friends. We continue to use Best Friends as our first choice in veterinary care.

First time taking one of my pets there & now I will be taking all of them there! Very reasonable prices & all of the staff was so friendly, they made us feel comfortable & welcomed. They explained everything to me thoroughly which put me at ease. Although, I'm sure my "little man" wasn't as happy when he found out he was really a "little lady"! We got a good laugh & now my kitten will be wearing pink collars instead of blue! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

The staff at Best Friends Pet Clinic in Galesville, WI is the best. We have been looking to switch and they came highly recommended, are close to where we live and were able to accommodate our busy schedule and get us in quickly. Wilbur, our mini Schnauzer took to everyone just fine and we can't wait to take him back for some follow-up appts. Highly recommend BFPC if you're looking or needing a Vet for your pet.

Our dog became ill last weekend. The vet was out of town until Thursday. We could find no one else to see him before then. She got us in on Friday. The roads were horrible. We arrived 6 minutes late as a semi was stuck in the middle of the road. When we walked in I was told they had called me several times about coming in earlier. I have horrible insomnia and typically fall asleep by 5:30. My hubby gets off work at 10 am. We left for Galesville right when he got home. We would not have been able to come earlier. We were told the doctor was just walking out the door. I reminded them we had an appointment. They said she had finished her appointments early today. No she hadn't. It was time for out appointment. One of the girls (they were all very nice) took Taz from me. I thought she was going to weigh him. Apparently the vet checked him on her way out the door. We never saw her at all. The girl up front gave us some cough syrup and we were on our way. Our bill was $66 (I thought this would have been reasonable had we seen the vet). I only gave 2 stars as staff was awesome. Also...no emergency services unless you want to drive to Madison or Rochester.

Best friends pet clinic is all about the money and not the animal the so-called Dr. Thein has no idea what’s going on every time we are in there. Always trying to give more shots or stuff they don’t need and not doing what we ask. She also, up until recently, wouldn’t let anyone back with their pets and also was a mask goer when all bans had been lifted. We have been going there for almost 10 years out of convenience but we pulled the last straw when they turned us away on two different emergency’s in the last few months. My cat was hit by a car this morning and we wanted to know what all was wrong with her as she is still living but since they were calling it a day at noon she had no time for us. The service there is absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever seen and I hope everyone reads this and they go elsewhere for these reasons. The lack of service and deceitfulness, I hope puts them out of business with no continued clients.

Rude staff. Clueless staff. Inconsistent pricing. Suggested 3 times that they could nueter our 13 week old puppy after I’ve let them know 3 times we are under contract to not neuter until 1 year old. Gave dog shots we didn’t ask for and treated for an ear infection without consent. Also never called us back about a fecal test. Highly recommend AVOIDING this vet.

We really like Best Friends Pet Clinic. We have taken our dogs there for years and they are always helpful and caring. They are great with puppies but I love how Diane cares for our senior dogs. When the time came to help our Daisy cross the rainbow bridge they were kind and understanding.

I am new to the Fort Smith area and needed a new reliable vet for my 2 yr old Chihuahua and was referred to the Best Friends Pet Clinic and was so excited to get someone who at first visit felt like I had found the right care giver to my pet. I absolutely loved my previous vet and was so sad to leave her, but found another at my location that I feel will give her the continuing loving care she deserves. Dr. Diane Thein has provided excellent care through the final days of my elderly Beagle, seen my German Shepherd from puppyhood to now aging gentleman, as well as my special needs adopted Doberman. Our Vet retired last summer so we thought we'd try Best Friends for our dog Alli. She's a very sweet girl but we had a hard time trimming her nails so we've been taking her to Best Friends for nail trims every other month and her annual check up and vaccinations yesterday. Dr. Thein and her staff have always been pleasant and very kind and patient with Alli. I would highly recommend them.

Dr. Shipley-Preston is the best Veterinarian I've ever worked with throughout the past 20 years of caring for many dogs and cats. She's willing to work with me on Alternative treatments combined with conventional treatments. She conscientious about keeping the billing as low as possible while still giving comprehensive care. The staff is professional, kind and accommodating. We're fortunate to have her for our animals.

I think this place is great, I almost put my little dog down, because his 1st vet wanted well over a thousand dollars to fix his teeth. But I contacted Best Friends and could afford to have the treatment done. Best Friends is there to help your pet while other vets seem to just want to make lots of money for there fancy buildings.

Dr. Diane and her staff are great! They take into consideration the family and their pet. They take the time to get to know the family. We have had several pets under their care, dogs- Bailey Mae, Gus the Bus, Gator, Sami, Gracie, Gunner and Thor-the cat. The small town atmosphere is evident in their care and concern.
