Unfortunately r cat of 16.5 yrs had to be put down because of cancer. They got us in asa we needed. The people were so nice about everything, like leaving us spend as much time as we could with him, hold him and say goodbye. I want to thank them for everything that they did and for the empathy they gave us. U r the best vet we had and we will definitely recommend you. Keep up the excellent work that you do!

Long review: worth the read. Cliff notes: Vet displayed horrible bedside manner, & dismissed our cat very easily without searching for remedies & suggested euthanasia. While the vet techs were wonderful, the vet was a nightmare. We brought our 18y/o cat in as he was displaying symptoms of eating minimally, weight loss & sniffles. To us this is routine as this has happened every year for the past 3 years as we have come to understand he is prone to upper respiratory infections. My boyfriend took him in, the vet tech was loving on our old boy, the vet walks in, took 5 seconds to look at our cat and replied "so what are we going to do about this? Are we wanting to euthanize here?". My boyfriend slightly shocked, explained we were looking to see if we could test for thyroid issues because of the weight loss, and get him his usual prescription for upper respiratory while the vet was examining our cat. The vet then looked at him and stated "I feel a mass, we should move along with euthanasia. Would you like to do it now?". My boyfriend pushed for tests as he did not want to give up without solid evidence on what was actually going on. The vet was so worried about not price gouging us that she kept repeating "Why would I charge you $200 for an xray when I know its pointless?". My boyfriend had to push the vet for bloodwork, and an xray. She poked our cat numerous times and couldnt get blood, and was going to stick him in the neck to which my boyfriend told her to stop. She then stated "since we cant get blood from his veins, if we were to put him to sleep we would sedate him under the skin and then do a cardiac injection". (Intriguing as the at home vet we had come later that evening to put our boy to sleep was able to administer the injections through his veins). The vet kept repeating "it could be this, it could be that" and then saying we should euthanize. She would not give my boyfriend a definitive answer on why. The vet pulled my boyfriend in to look at the xrays finally and said "Okay - then how would you fix this?". Our poor boy was filled with fluid and had what looked like masses in his stomach. She then told him there was a way to fix it but it was highly expensive. When my boyfriend asked how to get it, she said "Some vets may do it, but I wont". The level of disgusting bedside manner was appalling. This vet consistently gave my boyfriend the go around, would say we should euthanize, then say "it may be this", suggest we euthanize again and then tell him there are ways you could potentially fix what was going on. My boyfriend at one point looked at the vet and asked her to do her job because she was so SO quick to dismiss our cat, and quick to dismiss looking for anything that could possibly help him. It was so bad the lovely vet tech told my boyfriend that he and the vet tech could discuss things instead of him and the vet, as that was how bad this appointment was going. At the end of the appointment she told him to "call and set up an appointment if we wanted to euthanize today". We took our boy home and had him put to sleep at home with us, with a wonderful and very caring vet. My biggest regret is sending our sweet boy on his final day to a vet that was so easy to dismiss him and have absolutely no care in the world for how unprofessional she presented herself. Not to mention the absolute turmoil it put my boyfriend through, taking in his best friend that he has had since he was 10 years old. While I can understand she may have been looking at quality of life and trying not to price gouge, she went about it the completely wrong way. I am insanely disappointed in this specific vet. While this does not necessarily reflect the entire clinic staff, please understand if you decide to go here, you may possibly get a dismissive, unprofessional vet with an "you're wasting my time attitude". We will never be returning, and I will definitely not be recommending them to anyone moving forward.

I was in search of a new vet for my senior chihuahua mix and the Fredonia clinic was recommended by many. We saw Dr. Megan and she was very helpful and kind. Her tech was also the sweetest and explained everything she was doing. I really appreciated that from them both. They went over everything they could do/recommended and the prices for everything. I liked the breakdown of prices they provided and I got to choose what I wanted done that day without anyone being pushy. Definitely recommend!

Super place. The staff is wonderful. Explained all the options. Didn't push any course of action. We knew going in that it wasn't looking good. They handed everything with the utmost care and respect. I would highly recommend them.

They are great about getting you an appointment if it is serious. The doctor even came in on her day off to do surgeries. I appreciate that she doesn't beat around the bush and tells you the truth in all situations. They don't tell you they can do something just to get your money. Everyone there is very kind.

Hands down, the best vet clinic I’ve ever been too. I have been to many different vets over the years and I have never been as satisfied as I am here. The prices are fair/reasonable, the staff is extremely knowledgeable and my animals receive incredible care every time. They are very accommodating and understanding to reactive XL breed dogs ensuring we have a smooth visit every time. The care and attention to helping the animal and owner have the best veterinary experience is obvious. I have my dogs, cats and horse seen by fredonia vet and I will never go anywhere else. I drive 35 minutes each way to be able to use this clinic and it’s 100% worth it.

I've been bringing my dogs here for years, retired racing greyhounds. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and appointments are easily made. I think throughout the years ive dealt with every doctor there at one time or another and they all are very knowledgable and great at what they do. Past visits were for general exams, teeth cleanings, wound suturing, vaccinations, etc. I also purchase my dogs meds thru them as its just easier and i trust in the brands they prescribe. Unfortunately for every pet owner the time comes when euthanasia is a topic and a friendly vet is most helpful. Its never easy to say goodbye to a loving companion, but the staff here goes above and beyond to make it go smoothly for both pet and owner. I can honestly say ive never had a bad experience here and am always recommending them to friends.As far as accessibility and the facility itself goes, it's been updated throughput the years and has plenty of parking. Both of my current dogs enjoy going to the vet, or anywhere for that matter, and are always greeted with smiles and "puppy voices" from happy receptionists. I have no idea how thier prices and fees compare to other vets because simply put, i don't go anywhere else.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

DO NOT GO HERE! very unprofessional and dirty! First, one of the receptionists came over to us just PUT HER FACE IN THE CAGE DOOR TO SEE "HOW PRETTY SHE IS" . Once in the exam room with the actual doctor, DOCTOR HOLLY MANHANDLED MY CAT AND I HAD TO TELL HER TO STOP, LET HER GO, SHE DOESN'T LIKE YOU DOING THAT! My cat was visibly angry. Dr. Holly had my cat upside down on her back on the exam table, in her face, talking the same "LOOK HOW CUTE SHE IS" garbage... NOBODY CARES! DO YOUR FKN JOB! Bugs on ceiling and wall of exam room! I'm not sure what was crawling around on the ceiling in the waiting room, but when asked to hand a paper towel to my boyfriend so he could get the bug off the wall(he's very tall and the bug was closer to the ceiling than not), Dr. Holly said "Oh don't worry about it, staff will get it later, they're all over the place!" And proceeded to LAUGH ABOUT IT! They rescheduled our appointment TWICE the day before we were to go there, and then at the appointment Dr. Holly told us directly it was because she had to CATCH A PLANE! WE WILL NOT RETURN EVER! DO NOT GO HERE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

They were amazing about the situation we were having. My daughter called due to having a sick rabbit, the receptionist went out of her way to talk to the Dr and get us in when no other clinic would in our area. They saw us same day.

I took my kitten to this vet yesterday, 7/12/21. He has an upper respiratory infection and pinkeye, and I decided to have him tested for FeLV and FIV. He came up positive for both. The vet IMMEDIATELY suggested we euthanize him. I didn’t do that because he’s such a happy and playful kitten and I don’t want to do that unless he’s in pain. I did some research, spoke to people with similar experiences, etc and came to the conclusion that it is too early to diagnose him with these conditions, and definitely too early to tell me to put him down. I wouldn’t recommend this vet. The veterinarian also wasn’t the kindest. She made comments like “Why couldn’t you pick a healthier cat?” and when I was crying after she told me about him having FeLV and FIV she said “you’re already too attached to him”. Please find a vet that suits your cat’s needs. Picture of my kitten because he’s the cutest thing ever.

Called at 12:03 for probable UTI for my cat. They were able to get me in at 3 same day. Explained what I should do at home to prep for appointment. Very helpful when I arrived and throughout the time I was there. Explained everything very well. How to use meds, get a urine speciman, what it do if my cat has issues, estimate for another issue and a return visit in 1 week. Excellent experience as usual! Highly recommend!

They're a very caring group. The receptionist named Hunter is super great! Handle the death of our sons dog with deep felt sympathy. Made all the arrangements for cremation and made us all feel comfortable wth a sad situation. Dr. Karen is one of many vets there that are knowledgeable and great in what they do. Glad there close to our house.

This place is super expensive! From visits and nail clippings to meds. They wanted 20 day supply of meds for $60, when our previous vet only charges $70 for a *3 months* supply! Talk about a huge difference. My guess is that they're overcharging because they're out in the country and/or people just don't know any better. We were looking to switch vets, guess we'll have to keep looking or just drive a little further to our old vet which we still love anyway.

I have used them for 16 yrs. All our pets go there. Staff are amazing. Dr. Karen saved one of our dogs lives that we purchased at a pet store and probably came from a puppy kill. Our dogs love going there.

Iv had my dogs here for 3 years now I was happy with their services until this past month we order our flea and tick threw chewey this time since it was significantly less well in order to get the meds from chewey they need approval and since the vet sells the meds they are not approving the meds because they want us to buy from them for a more expensive price and are now trying to make me drive 45mins just to pick up the script to then mail it to chewey when they can simply just call it in. So now my dogs are gone to get their pills late. THIS PLACE ONLY CARES About Money they don’t care about the animals. Totally disgusted FYI their excuses was their to short handed to call chewey but they can take the time to try and push their services on us with a 30 min phone call
