We love the Tin Shed and eat there about 4 times a week. The menu is great and the specials are awesome. My Dad is 92 and looks forward to going there. The staff are great and the Owners really care about their Customers. The atmosphere is great and you feel like family. The food is always good. I highly recommend the Tin Shed for a great dining experience.

We stayed in Frederic for our anniversary at an Airbnb. We stopped at the Tin Shed for breakfast one morning and absolutely fell in love with this staff, this town and its community. The food is AMAZING and the staff are incredibly kind to every table. They work so hard. You get the sense that this community is very close and that this place is a staple in the town - it was beautiful to watch and we felt so privileged to observe the magic behind this place. We went back the next morning before heading back to the Cities and it was the same experience once again. Cant recommend this place enough - what a find for tourists passing through! Looking forward to returning to this restaurant in the future :)

Tin Shed Cafe serves typical diner style food. I observed a lot of mature locals enjoying large plates. Daily specials available. The rustic atmosphere with antiques displayed makes it feel homey.

Wish I could give it 10 stars! Down home comfort food and personal service making you feel #1. And the atmosphere! You could spend hours there simply admiring the trivia on the walls. Don't drive through Frederic, Wisconsin without stopping by the Tin Shed Cafe for a tasty bite and a look at interesting license plates!Dietary restrictions: My family comes with a long list of food intolerances, however, we all left with full tummies and smiling faces!Parking: We were able to park two spaces away from the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: As the Tin Shed Cafe is a family restaurant, my 3-month old nephew fit right in.Wheelchair accessibility: My brother-in-law uses a walker. He had no problem manuevering the walker within the restaurant nor finding a place for it while we ate.

We went for breakfast on a Saturday morning, typically one of the busiest times for cafes in the area. They serve typical diner food but also have a few surprises on the menu such as the Swedish pancakes. We had great service, our waitress was attentive, the coffee was good, our food came out quickly. They serve large portions and are very reasonably priced. Definitely a new breakfast favorite for our family.

This was a great restaurant for breakfast. I’ve had a lot of omelets around the state as I’ve hiked the Ice Age Trail, and the one I had at the Tin Shed was probably the best. The staff was also really friendly and appeared happy to be at work, which you don’t always find early in the morning.

Are you ever out of town and you get the idea that you want breakfast at the local corner breakfast spot - where all of the locals go?? It is just like a dream...the door is held open by smiling regulars. You walk in and the waitresses are talking to everyone by first name - you can't stop smiling. They come up and make full conversation with you. You see the menu and the special recipe SWEDISH PANCAKES stick out at you. That! That is what you want. You see the toppings and start to smile...whip cream bananas and pecans please! Not knowing what to expect you carry on with your conversation with your family or friends...your breakfast comes out just as you see the tables next to you being served - that omelet is loaded! Oh my gosh! The bacon is cooked to perfection. You see your plate, your eyes get big, you realize you just found your dream come true breakfast spot for when you go out of town. The pancake is hanging odd of the plate and every bite it soft and delicious. The waitress on the way out is sure to give a smile and say see you again soon - yes! Why yes you will!

Excellent customer service. The food was average. My kid spilled orange juice on me and the waitress brought over a wet towel and a dry one so that I could clean up. Definitely went above and beyond. Too much butter on the pancake and french toast couldn't even taste the syrup. Other than that the food was ok.

Absolutely recommend!Parking: Parking is only on the streetWheelchair accessibility: Handicap street parking is available, however, it's about a half a block down

Silverware old or not really clean? Forgot my milk for five minutes. Then they realized neither waitress had given me my milk. Immediately took care of it !!Happens all the time .
