Worked here, at surface level this place is great but management is ruining their staffs mental health, using manipulation tactics, lying about promotions. I don't mind coming here as a shopper but working here drained me faster than most jobs because I was called in everyday almost while no one would do the same for me and I lost my job over exactly that.I worked 10 days in a row there and they didn't care. I was dangled a promotion but then lied to about the reasons why I never got it.As I said, shopping is fine but I'd steer clear if you're trying to find work.

The cashier James, was extremely helpful and courteous. Before I walked in I watched him help an elderly lady out to her car making sure she didn't slip and fall in the parking. You guys need more employees like this.

Excellent for our little area. I didnt imagine in the least, how often I would utilize this store. I make several trips a week and dont have to run out of town. Saving money by less travel and a great assortment of foods amongst other useful things for the home and project's.

For a dollar general store this place has the little odds & ends that you may have missed off your grocery list &/or to get you through the evening until you can go to the appropriate places. I was shocked the 1st time I entered the establishment & found exactly what I needed.

Awesome there's a Dollar General at Fox Lake!! If you go up for a vacation and forget anything, this is the place. Great people working there to help find what you need.
