I cannot think of a more fun place to bring your kids in Fish Creek. This is situated right on the creek (bring bug spray). It has an AWESOME playground and a relaxing space for parents to chill while kids play. And on top of it there is AWESOME ice cream. They also sell simple cheap bites like burgers and brats. We didn't have that but I know sometimes Door County can get $$ but this is a break from that. Had a sincerely delicious hot fudge sundae. They have plenty of napkins and water out for the inevitable sticky mess which will be your kids. For sure recommend.

We have been coming here for years. It’s a great place to get food and especially custard desserts. They always have vanilla, chocolate and butter pecan and then the flavor of the day changes daily. They also have two rainbow swing-sets so the kids can play. There’s often ducks and you have a nice little view of the creek while you eat. There is plenty of seating, but the parking lot isn’t always easy to get into so I definitely recommend parking on the street before you pull in.

Service was fast. Overall it was good but felt we've had better for the price. We had a banana strawberry split and rootbeer float. However the atmosphere was nice and the playground was an added plus. Great place to stay and play for younger children.

This place had the best treat around! We tried a few places in this area. And this was by far our favorite! Suzy Q's slice of heaven pie A LA Mode was amazingly delicious! And I'm not a big fan of pies. But this pie was the best! My buddy got ice cream with the warm cherries on top, and he loved it!

Great place to bring kids in Door County! They have a playground with sand and outdoor service for ice cream and burgers. They also have duck feed so that the kids can feed the ducks that hang out in the water behind the playground. They have plenty of seating for adults to be near the water and outside away from the playground if you don't have children. They also have a nice lighted porch with heaters if you would like to hang out at night. The ice cream has great flavor and they have banana frozen treat for those who can't have ice cream.

Waited in a long line to be EXTREMELY disappointed with the product. Lots of different options but honestly this place is at the bottom of the list for great Custard... Will choose Culver's over this place anytime! The dining areas were very nice and the playground were great features but when you come for dessert but the playground is more enjoyable thats a problem!

Someone at the campground we were staying at recommended this place, and we were disappointed. They have very few flavors, chocolate, vanilla, butter pecan, and a flavor of the day. The pecans in the butter pecan tasted old. It just wasn't that great of custard. It was okay, but not worth the high price. But our daughter had fun at the playground. My husband did the ordering, and it sounded like the lady helping him wasn't that nice or helpful.

Stopped here before heading home. I was so excited because of the menu options that were vegetarian (that I could remove cheese from to make vegan).I ordered the garden sandwich without cheese. It was decent. Without the cherry chutney it would be extremely basic. That made it great.My husband ordered the GET IN MY BELLY BURGER and a turtle sundae. He said it was good but not great for the price. I’m honestly shocked by how expensive the sundaes are at this place.Literally all over Wisconsin we’ve paid half the price for sundaes and burgers for my husband. He paid over $20 for a burger and sundae. Inflation? Idk…Maybe.

We both ordered the cookie dough sundae with hot caramel added. The cookie dough was so good and comes as big scoops on your sundae. The custard is creamy and smooth. The line is often long, but they moved pretty quickly and have 6 ft markings on the ground to help support social distancing. Most people were adhering to the markings and wearing masks (but of course not everyone was wearing a mask in line). The sitting area was fairly empty and we had a nice place to sit and enjoy our treat.

Our favorite stop for the best Homemade custard on a hot day!Everything you get from NLY is locally sourced making it that much more special.You will wait in line for a while if you go on a summer peak season day, but it's worth the wait!Great atmosphere, kid friendly, and lovely landscape make NLY a must do stop in DC!

Excellent custard! A bit expensive though. $15 for a regular banana split and my brownie sundae you see in the photo but they were good. Cute seating area with ducks as guests.

Such an awesome place. Definitely kid friendly but even as adults the place is a required Door County stop. Went for the first time today and was amazed at the number of people, kids, and the set up. The place looks like it could sit a thousand outside with comfy chairs and a quaint spot right on a little creek. Delicious custard, just wished they had Mint Chocolate Chip, the only ice cream worth mangiating 😉

I had homemade Three Cheese Asparagus Tortellini soup, and hubby had the Squeaky Pig sandwich. Both were excellent. Then we had a hot cherry malt and the Door County Sundae. So yummy. The straw for the malt was twice as wide as a normal straw! 👍 The outdoor decor is also interesting.

LOVE the custard here - it’s super rich and creamy! The staff are also super fun - full of puns, haha! Parking is semi-limited considering how popular this place can get, even on a rainy day! There’s also a playground next to it for kids!

One of our favorite custard spots in the mid-west! I was so excited to eat my sundae, that I forgot that I wanted to take photos this time. So anyhow, luckily I was able to snag a photo of "Olaf" before he melted...lol. My daughter tried the "So you want to build a snowman?" sundae...freaking adorable, and the malted pretzels (his arms) on there were delicious....like I could just order a dish of those next time! Also, they have THE BEST Butter Pecan custard you will have in your lifetime, promise...add a heaping spoonful of their fresh roasted/salted pecans and call it a day. Life is complete. Yum!

The food was good on a drive in scale, custard was amazing, they put extra little touches on their sundaes like faces. Dog friendly, right on the edge of a creek where you can feed the ducks. Large playground for kids. A must stop for a sweet treat!

A great little ice cream shack that also has burgers. Food was great, loved the cherry chutney on my burger. They also have forzen bananas for the lactose sensitive. They have a playground for the kids to play on and a stream that has ducks to feed.

Great spot for kids, get a bag of popcorn to feed the ducks, they'll eat out of your hand. Oh and the ice cream is pretty great too, very unique sundaes..

Very unique place. Nice menu, food, ice cream and custard. Can eat by the river and watch and feed the ducks. Lots of animal topiaries on the grounds. Unique place.

The frozen custard is like soft serve ice cream. Only, you have more choices than just vanilla... Can you tell I am a regular at McDonalds and don't get out much? :) The calories, though . . .but... the flavor ....but the calories...but the taste...but...the calories won and were celebrated!

Custard was delicious and rich with some amazing unique takes on classic flavor combinations! They are taking all Covid precautions with spacing the line apart but not everyone was wearing a mask. Pro-tip: try to go at an off peak time. We went around 8pm and waited almost 45 minutes in line.

If you happen to be in the area, this is an absolut must. The burgers and dogs are on point. get some popcorn and sit by the creek to feed the ducks, they will love you for it. Frozen custard was new to me, but now, there is no going back to ice cream. Life changing!

This is a "must visit" stop in Fish Creek, WI. My wife and I really enjoyed the Custard and look forward to our next visit. They offer indoor and outdoor seating with great scenery outside! They do offer food also!

We stopped for a sundae after lunch, and it was pretty good. I thought it was a little pricey for the size we got. The playground and marsh area was a nice plus. There was plenty of outdoor seating available.

Stop here for custard. My wife got flavor of the day in a waffle cone and I got it in a dish. Her ice cream was firm and mine was soupy mess. Went back to complain and they were very rude. Didn't offer any solutions. We asked if there was a different flavor that was more firm and they all stared at us like we were idiots. I would rate this place a minus 10 stars if I could.
