Recently moved here this summer and have learned very quickly that this place is extremely over priced. Save yourself the money and go somewhere else. Even Kwik Trip is cheaper and has better quality basic essentials. The couple bucks you spend in gas to drive to Aldi is quickly earned back by the amounts of savings compared to shopping here.

Beautiful grocery store but what makes it even better are the people who work there. The owner Jake always greets me with a smile and a “hello” every time he sees me. Whenever I need an item and can not find it, there is always someone around who can direct me to where the item is located. The store is very clean and well stocked. You can see how much the owner cares about his store and his customers.

I was asking the cashier about a product and he walks out from that little room in the front of the store and says oh they stopped making that particular product. I said I don't think so I buy it every time I go to Walmart. Then he had to pull his nasty little foot out of his nasty little mouth. And he was the manager and he is the rudest nasty is little thing I would never buy anything in that store again ever. To tell me they quit making a product just because he hasn't heard of it in his precious little store The nasty nasty nasty little owner didn't like my very honest review that I gave of his nasty response to me looking for a product. That he claimed was not sold anymore which I buy all the time at different stores. Nasty nasty little man God help anybody who works for him. This hope he has a horrible summer What a nasty owner of a store. At poor cashier I could see it on her face. When he came struck out of that office telling me that that product was not available anymore. Nasty nasty nasty little man

I shop here often because it's near my home and I like to shop local when possible. They have a really nice selection for a small town grocery store. Whether you're looking for a decent selection of wine, beer, and liquor, fresh ingredients for a home cooked meal, ready to eat deli foods, or frozen convenience foods, they've got it. They run weekly sales that can save you some coin if you shop smart. And the staff are quick, friendly, and efficient. And if you're buying a lot they will even bring it out to your car for you.The store always looks neat and well stocked, even in these odd pandemic times we find ourselves in. I can always find pretty much everything I need here and don't often grocery shop elsewhere. They do a really good job keeping this store stocked and staffed.

Michael and Jackson are by far the best employees I’ve ever met! They are not only knowledgeable but very enjoyable to talk and wonderful hardworking employees! I do hope that management gives them a bonus in the near future for their selfless efforts and actions towards Benders.

Why is there a charred tractor just sitting in the parking lot? It looks very tacky and I disapprove. I also couldn't find the chip aisle.

I had requested to have a roast sliced for beef jerky last week when the butcher was out... With great results. Thank you to the older lady and gentleman who performed this task for me. I went back yesterday when the butcher was in, and the results were extremely disappointing. It seems that either he did not care about doing a good job or had no idea how to do one. I will no longer go to this location to purchase meat.

Bender's has always been a great grocery store in Fennimore, but the new store is outstanding! The same good selection of fresh meat as the old store with the addition of a super selection of smoked meat products. Good produce and selection of standard grocery store food staples at good prices.

Bought some pork chops today and had them for lunch. Very tender. Was able to get what I needed. Girl cashier was very quick at checkout.

Small with a decent selection but it's never busy it's got all the necessities and you can get in any out quick. Friendly staff. But some of the stuff is more expensive here than other places.

It's a nice store in Fennimore with great staff along with good deals and prices in general but in my opinion the best thing at Bender's is the food, the food I phenomenal and is great for a quick meal for relatively cheap, so I'd highly suggest Bender's Foods
