My family and I went for two nights for a short vacation in Door County, and we really enjoyed our stay here! Some highlights are the breakfast, the clean and comfortable room, and the friendly staff. We did not use the pool, but it looked clean and towels were provided. They had grills to use and bikes to rent too. We plan to stay here again for a future trip to Door County. It was definitely a good value and perfect for our family. I highly recommend it! Thanks for a great experience.Rooms: We had a room with just a queen bed. It had a loveseat and a small table with chairs as well. There was enough floor space for the pack n play we brought for our toddler to sleep in. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.Nearby activities: The motel is in between downtown Ephraim and Sister Bay. There was a mini golf place right across the street as well as some restaurants just nearby within walking distance (although the main road might be too busy for walking). It was also about 5-10 minutes from Peninsula State Park. There is plenty to do nearby this motel! Also, there was a grocery store nearby.Food & drinks: The breakfast was very good! Both mornings we enjoyed the donuts as well as a hot egg dish. The donuts were especially good, and it was very hard to only have one. Mine had chocolate icing with coconut flakes. So good!! One morning they had a cherry French toast that was great as well!

Recently visited Door County on short notice and found this gem just outside Ephraim. The rooms were super clean, comfortable, updated and the service was amazing. The breakfast as the other reviews have mentioned is definitely a step above any other hotel/stay type breakfast. Will definitely keep this place on our list in the future to visit again!

My wife and I had a poor experience at the Ephraim Motel. We discovered an ant problem in our bathroom. The room had a horrible scent and the humidity levels appeared to be very high. It's unfortunate considering costs continue to rise while the quality of the rooms are in major decline.

I wasn’t expecting much, but was blown away by the AMAZING staff and such a safe environment.-Walked into the office to check in, and it was so cute inside. The young lady at the desk was so kind and attentive to all of our needs. She went out of her way to make sure that we had everything we needed.-Her and a nice young man were also housekeeping and weren’t slacking, what great workers!!-Everything in our room was nice and clean. Not high end, but not low either. Worth the price. Nice and homey.—Come stay here, it’s great!!

Over all experience was good, customer service is great, Ally at the front desk is awesome she is very friendly, rooms are fairly newer or refurnished,clean, beds were comfortable. The only disappointment was when we try to use a microwave and it wasn't cleaned and some stuff was still on the microwave plate dried n rotten. That changed the mood.

I know that some people on here are really picky about how many stars they give a place and how they rate them and whatnot and they will pick apart a business until it is nothing but a bunch of pieces that don't really represent the whole. I like in my reviews to represent the whole of the experience and the experience I had over all at this Motel was overwhelmingly and wonderfully positive. The staff I encountered were very kind and courteous, the room was clean, the beds were soft, the pillows were nice, the breakfast in the morning was terrific and I can't think of a single thing that I would complain about. I had a great time and I would definitely stay there again.

We were here this past weekend for fall fest. We come every year and have stayed at multiple establishments. However, we will no longer need to look any further! This place exceeded my expectations in many ways. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was good and the room was so clean and cute! It is the perfect location. We loved it here and will be back next year! Keep up the great work!

Quaint and clean motel! Absolutely adore this cute property. The room was very clean and cozy. Love the swimming pool and numerous firepits outside. Very welcoming atmosphere and couldn't be happier to have booked this place! It's tucked away from the main highway so it's quiet. Lots of cute shops and restaurants nearby. Will definitely return in the future!

We were up in Door County for the first time! It was for a little mid-week vacation to explore and enjoy the area. We had the best time staying at the Ephraim Motel! The motel is exceptionally kept with clean rooms and beautiful grounds that were also safe and relaxing. We liked that you could walk to several activities including shopping, mini golf and restaurants.The location on the peninsula was also really great. We found it was centrally located in Ephraim and could easily drive 5-10 min to other locations.All of our questions were easily answered and the staff was super helpful and friendly. We took several of their suggestions for food, views and hiking and enjoyed our entire stay. I only wish we had more time to try other amenities the motel offers- the pool and bikes looked fun! We'll plan to take advantage of those things next time!The pricing was very affordable and we felt like it was a great value.We will definitely be back and would recommend this location to friends, family and anyone interested in a quiet stay in Door County!

What a great surprise. Our room was very clean and the bed more comfortable than most. The property is very well maintained and landscaped. My wife and I liked the back property which is some what secluded and has multiple sitting areas perfect for coffee or a cocktail. There is also a nice pool and patio area in the back. The owners treat you like family and offer great suggestions on places to go and things to do. Ephriam is in a great location and just minutes from Fish Creek and Sister Bay. What a great find, we will be back.

Super cute motel. Each room has its own decor. The owner, Julie I believe, has a nice style that I enjoy. Perfect space for a single adult or a couple. There was an apple tree right outside my door. I would stay here again.

Very friendly staff. Grounds are kept beautifully. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Lounge area is comfortable and nicely decorated. Board games and books to borrow are an added perk. Very nice continental breakfast. Pride of ownership is evident everywhere in this gem. A real find.

Love the outdoor pool! Super clean! Comfortable bed! Was worried about"Motel" but is just as nice as alot of hotels we've stayed at. With the covid, I like the fact that we do not share the same air ducts as the rest of the residents. That was a concern of mine leaving home. We have our own room with a window air conditioner. If you don't want to eat out there are multiple gas grills and charcoal grills you can use to cook your own food, as well as multiple dining areas to eat.

Very nice motel in a great location. Convenient to Sister Bay (for fall fest) and Fish Creek (for a show at the Door Community Auditorium). Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was delicious - more than we were expecting!
