Very cute property. Had flowers and pumpkins out for fall. The pool and hot tub had been drained for the year, but the grounds were pretty and had a good view of the lake from the balcony. Our room was small and basic, but clean and had everything we needed. The wet bar and updated bathroom was a bonus. We used the whirlpool tub and enjoyed the comfortable bed. AC wasn’t great, but it wasn’t super warm out so it didn’t bother us too much. Only complaint was that they had some out of date business cards that we tried to use for a ride back from Sister Bay, and ended up having to walk all the way back. Better to remove them than to have guests rely on a service that isn’t available. Other than that, no complains and we look forward to coming back.

Bay Breeze Resort is fabulous in every way - the staff, the setting, the rooms!The check in was easy as was the check out. The staff is attentive. The room was clean; the bed was great; the whirlpool was very clean and worked great. The pool area and outside hot tub are very nice. The private beach across the street is great.Will stay here again!Date of stay: July 2022Room tip: Loved the harbor view from the shared deck. Rooms 212 and 209 have larger tables on the shared deck.

Our stay at Bay Breeze Resort was wonderful. Our room was very comfortable, and the grounds were landscaped beautifully with flowers everywhere. Pool and hot tub were great as well. There is plenty to see and do in Door County, our four night stay was barely long enough to experience some of the highlights.

It was the best. The room, whirlpool, the heated out door pool, and private beach.I passed this reasonably priced resort on to 3 friends so far.The price per night was definitely worth it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️😺Rooms: Our room had a king size bed with a walk-shower with glass doors.Nearby activities: Walking distance to restaurants, shops, and other beaches. A short drive to the ferry to go to Washington Island. The fudge shop.....mmmm good.Safety: Very safe to stay day, weeks or more.Walkability: Side walks, yea.😁😁Food & drinks: All within walking distance.

Absolutely loved the stay. Quite a cute place with perfect customer service. If you are arriving late for some reason, make sure to call ahead. They will arrange the keys for you. The office closes at 8pm or 9pm. We arrived late.But the room was a really nice size. They had rocking chairs outside and the fireplace was super romantic. I loved loved loved the huge walk in shower with multiple heads. It was like a water massage. The pool and hot tub were nice and it was fantastic to be able to just walk across the street to a private beach. The location is nice as well and an easy drive to many places and there are a few breakfast places within walking distance.

Exceeded my expectations. I booked the private suite (200) for my boyfriend's birthday. The king sized bed was more comfortable than the bed I have at home. The grounds were beautifully decorated, the front desk staff was very nice and friendly and our room was spotless. It had a small kitchen, huge bathroom and shower plus a whirl pool tub. We had our own private balcony as well. The pool and hot tub were great and I liked that they shut that down by 9:30. Lake view from our room and water access directly across the street. All the shops and boat docks were within walking distance, make sure you stop at Wilson's for burgers and Ice Cream! We didn't want to leave.

Decided to try a new place in Door County this year and we were very happy with that decision. Location and room were very cute and welcoming. Very nice patio options with chairs provided. Room had a nice tv, fridge and microwave, and also the very nice option of a kitchen area sink. Bathroom was spacious and whirlpool tub was a great option. While not a direct view of water, we could see it from our window and it was very viewable from patio. Although Bay Breeze was full for the duration of our 3 night stay, it was quiet. Wide windows at front of room and a small window off bathroom bring welcome light and cross breezes. Hotel is located in the heart of the peninsula and everything is very accessible. Thanks for giving us a great vacation stay!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary/babymoon. We loved the location of the resort. The resort was well kept and very clean.The staff was friendly and accommodating. They were fine with us checking in late (around 9pm). When we left my husband forgot his Iwatch and they called us to let us know and they mailed it back to us! It's nice to know that there's still goood people around. I definitely recommend staying here. The only thing that bothered me was they didn't have blackout blinds/curtins in our room.

Beautiful, clean, and well kept. Grounds were gorgeous with many flowers. Beach across the street was very small but clean and relaxing, larger public beach just down the road. Service was great, everyone was pleasant. Resort was at full capacity when we visited and we could not hear our neighbors. Some cute shops within in walking distance but most other destinations were only a short drive away. Would stay here again and recommend to others.

Overall, this was a great place to stay. The rooms were very clean, the bed was very comfortable. I was visiting with a friend and had a room with two beds in separate rooms; it was very nice to have the separate rooms, but there was nothing comfortable to sit on to spend time in the same room together. The only actual complaint I have is the shower. The shower is in a jetted tub with a standard-size faucet to fill it with, which is just something to watch out for when you're showering - it was nice to have that big of a shower. There is no water softener, and the water here is about as hard as I have ever come across while traveling. This meant a lot longer in the shower without really feeling rinsed off, and that it is more dangerous to stand in when you get any soap in the tub.This hotel isn't a resort, it's a nice hotel. I'm not even sure if there was one thing that would make an argument that this is a resort. The beach access was nice, but nothing special. There are no "waterfront" rooms here. There is a pool and hot tub, but as far as I can tell there was nothing else that would make this a resort.Otherwise, the walk into town isn't too bad - about a mile along the shore. I was annoyed that they blocked everything on the TV, so we couldn't use the Chromecast; I know why they do it, but it's unnecessary. The price seemed good when we booked it, so that was a plus, though I know the price should have been lower given the current pandemic. Overall, there is no doubt I would stay here again if I wanted to stay in Ephraim.

We love coming here every summer. We are here this fall for our Anniversary. It's in our opinion the best hotel in Door County. (Should have 6 stars.) It's always very clean and the caring staff is always very accommodating. See everyone again next summer.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Rooms have everything you need and the offer pool beach towels at front desk. Rooms are a little stale smelling, had to wash everything in our bags after. Think carpet and duvet covers were the contributing factors. Love the private beach and loveseat swing. Super quiet and peaceful.

We only stayed for one night but I would like to do longer next time. It’s at the end of the bay area which gives it a very good view of the lake. The staff is really nice. The room is big and it has some basic kitchen stuff with a coffee machine, a fridge and a microwave oven. We had to turn on the heat when we get to the room and it was so cold. It took me a little bit time to figure out how to use the heat switch. Besides, they have a gas fireplace in order to heat the room faster.

Our first return to Door County in more than 20 years, and the first time we ever stayed overnight, so we cannot offer comparisons to any competing property. All we can say is that we were totally, completely satisfied with our choice. Spotlessly-clean, comfortable room with the most heavenly shower we have EVER experienced, anywhere. We are not swimmers, so did not use the pool. A small private beach is located just across the street. We are already planning to return next year

Bay Breeze has been our favorite place to stay for many years, partly because of its location halfway up the Bay side. This is remarkably sparkling clean, with comfortable beds,a well-run place with a beautiful pool and outdoor hot tub among the most fabulous flower gardens in the county. The staff is friendly, professional and very helpful. Love this place.
