Reading some of the poor reviews, they were just exactly what I experienced this morning. Poor customer service and of course, I wasn’t too thrilled - threatening me to go to jail after I asked for my receipt back after they refused to accept my return. He approached to my face - had to tell him that it stinks when he came close to me.They just lost my business and now, I understand why this place is so quiet. Rarely see more than 2 customers. I shop Ace TNT - top notch customer service!

Worst customer service. 1. Double the price 2. Admitted the paint had "faulty " lid and then refused any liability. Looked at the mess with jaws dropped, stumbling over their smoke stained jaw. Then advised customer to leave, get a lawyer and they would not give GM information. Rude, disgusting employees! Don't go there!!

My brother and I were contracted to install vinyl planking and carpet on a rental property in Elkhorn Wi. Upon removing the carpet and padding we had discovered that the underlayment had crowned joists and were in need of an edger. A type of hardwood flooring sander. When I called Woller's hardware; they stated that they had one for rent. So I arrived there and rented it along with 20 grit sanding discs ( which is not often available ) but was nice to use to bring crowns down to a approved flatness. 1st time that I've ever walked in their store but both manager people set me up with the tool that I needed without traveling too far out of our job area.THANK YOU WOLLER'S , FROM EUGENE VALLANGO

We rented a UHAUL from here, definitely won't do that again. When we went to the gas station to fill this truck up, it was at 3/4 full. My husband filled it up and dropped it off at the True Value. I got my receipt and I was charge $52 for gas. The owner/manager claimed that when he got into our truck the tank was at 3/4 when we dropped it off. I'm sorry, $52 to fill a tank from 3/4??? We spent $28 to fill it up. The man running the UHAUL was downright rude from the second we walked in. I had it reserved from 8AM-6PM, when I showed up at almost 10 AM I was scolded as if I were a child. I paid for a service, I picked it up when I could and I still brought it back by the agreed time. I will most definitely be calling corporate and have this taken care of. I tried explaining to him that we filled the tank and he continued to say we didn't. I will not argue with someone that clearly does not put their customers first and has a poor attitude.

The service is fine and the people are friendly. However, the carpet cleaners they have for rent are terrible. First of all, the reservoir is super heavy even before you put water in it. But the worst thing is it just doesn’t suck enough of the water out of the carpeting. I finished cleaning my carpeting 28 hours ago and it is still wet. So along with the cost of renting the machine (Rental One brand, $35 for 4 hours, vs Walmart’s Rug Doctor, $30 for 24 hours) I have had three fans running constantly to try to get it to dry. I highly recommend they look into a different brand of carpet cleaner.

What a great store. They went out of there way to get salt for driveways and sidewalks for us to purchase 3 different times. They really care for there community. Way to go. I will always shop there. Come in and just say hello they are friendly helpful people.

The worst, most unpleasant, extremely inappropriate, unusually offensive, and simply uncivil customer service experience of my life. U-Haul and True Value representative Dwayne Whitt has earned himself an ego-maniac award of the year. It is employees like Dwayne that destroy reputations of brands and years of hard work of business owners. His negligent approach to customer service will forever turn people away from wherever he is working. I feel sorry for Dwayne, and especially for the business he is destroying…long story short - on a beautiful Sunday morning of August 22nd I arrived to pick up a U-Haul trailer. When I arrived 5 trailers were sitting there, but Dwayne said that I was 30 min late for my appointment, and he is executing the right to refuse me service for being late. Furthermore he said he will charge me $50 late fee- “just like the doctors do”!!!Dwayne did not ever care to ask why I was delayed, he just decided that U-Haul or True Value did not need to earn their money today.

While the staff was courteous over the phone, the experience soured when I attempted to rent a tool with an out of state license (I was visiting family in town over the holiday). Instead of requiring a deposit, placing an authorization on my credit card, and/or asking some background questions to dispel concern I was accused of being a thief by being told "I can't afford to lose another tool." My license was actually tossed at me across the counter and told to have "someone local" return instead. When I explained that I had driven over instead of the local family member because she was working the actual response was "that's not my problem."Save yourself an insult and shop at the far friendlier Jackson's Do it Best Hardware store or Lowe's in nearby Delavan.

Tired to rent a hitch by them and the man was so rude. Not caring that we have gone there and spend a lot of money at his store and are regular customers. His customer service skills are non existent. We will not be returning here any time soon.

Dont waste your $ here dude is an ahol . Dont know how they are still in business. Use spend alot $ here but Wont ever be using Knights towing their uhaul rental or go in to shop again. I'll be taking my business to Jacksons Do It Best Hardware in elkhorn from now on. AM towing has better customer service. This place is a joke

Their sign clearly states open til 2pm on Sundays. Got there at 1:54 and the store was already closed up. Needed something last minute. Called the store and the guy that answered was rude as hell and just said my clocks say 2 so too bad... told him he should probably change his store hours if they aren’t really open til 2... guess I will take my business elsewhere!

They always know stuff, even if your explanation needs an off duty UN interpreter in household menutia. Great tool selection, an extensive craft section, and all the things you used to depend on your neighborhood hardware store for.
