Update: Looking at this businesses reviews I decided to give them a second chance, and I'm glad I did. I must have been in on an off day, because the difference between then and now was like night and day. They were quick, and extremely responsive despite it being much busier in there today. First impressions don't need to endure, and their service today has changed my mind. I will be back for sure!

Don't bother with their email.I had a order problem(only 50%fulfilled), and emails went with no response. Called and had it figured out in 5 minutes.The only thing they could improve upon is removing the sales email address from the contact us page.

I had ordered sugar beet seeds that were advertised for deer plot seeding. I planned to use the seeds in my garden. They sprouted and began to grow well. However, the garden got away from me and soon were overtaken by weeds. The seeds worked since this was the first year I had deer in my yard. The seed did just what Elk Mound Seed said they would do....bring deer into the food plot. Their service was also very good, quick delivery and good value for my money.

I ordered the red milo and RR soybeans for plots on the Saturday afternoon before Easter. The product (100# of seed) showed up on my front porch in less than three days on a holiday weekend. Mind blown. Elk Mound Seeds understands customer service.

I'd give less than 1 star if I could. I ordered a variety and quite a few bags of seed. I called per their website to arrange shipping. Told it shouldn't matter and they shipped the 50lb seed bags individually. It cost a fortune in s&h and it should have been a pallet delivery! Then the seed did not perform as it should and was a complete waste of money and time. I will only buy local seed from now on.
