We took our dog here for 9 days. I specified twice with the employee on how much food our dog was to eat - one cup in the morning and one cup at night. I made sure to pack him enough food for the trip. When picking him up, they gave us back the majority of his food. They were drastically under feeding him and only fed him half the food he should have been getting.

Our puppy is high energy and I was almost at the end of my rope needing help with that. Excellent dog daycare. Lucy gets so excited to go! She is pulling at her leash to go every time. Excellent care given. I can’t say enough about what a great place this is. She is happier, and so much better behaved in just a couple of weeks. Thanks Kenlyn. You are amazing! I really appreciate your service and the love she receives.

It's taking me two months to get my words together to write this review. There are two parts. First part: This was a back up kennel only used for one time because my normal kennel was full. When we dropped our dogs off, we were greeted by a very unhappy front desk lady. She was rude. We were not allowed to go back to see the kennels my dogs would be staying in. I asked if we could provide the dogs beds because one of my dogs had knee surgery and has a special bed. They said, sure no problem. I asked about checking up on them as this was their first time there and they were there for 8 days. The desk lady said she didn't have time to answer or call people back about the dogs. That put me off, but at that point we were there. Fast forward to pick up. We were told they were having diarrhea for 3 days at that point. We got home and my large dog slept for 8 hours without moving. She was taken outside and came back in and noticed her back leg was swollen, 10 times the size of her other leg, and had a wound. I called the kennel immediately, with not answer or call back. I called again in the morning with no call back, so went there. The owner was visibly drunk and couldn't stand without leaning on the wall. She could give me no explanation. This is the second part. I got ahold of the co-owner. The co-owner was kind, understanding, upset that my dogs were sick, said to call me after the vet that we were taking them to in the morning. After $510 later, the vet distinguished they had open bed sores on 3 of her legs. The co-owner found out my dogs were not given their beds and made to lay on a rubber mat . . for 8 days! This is NOT the policy he said, and apologized many times. He reimbursed me for the vet fees and called to check on my dogs regularly. He also told the staff that the dogs should have their beds going forward. The young girls staffing there were amazing and the co-owner was amazing. The other owner never called me back. I will not be taking my dogs there again unless I hear that the co-owner is running it solely.

My dog LOVES coming here! I know this by how excited he is to get out and run to the door. (I have seen him run from the door so many other times-OTHER PLACES) The staff seems to really like having him.I have read some of the other reviews about staff. Most of the staff I have dealt with are more reserved and not necessarily “bubbly”, but they have always been very nice. It’s really not about me anyway. My dog is the one staying and they make him very comfortable. Could not be happier with where I kennel our family pet!OH, they will also groom, etc before you pick your pet up too. I had them cut my dog’s nails and they did a great job!I strongly suggest you at least check the place out. Beautiful facility and the owner lives on site.

Brought my dog here last week, never again. The front office lady is not good with animals at all, After giving her my dog he did not want to go with her and she yanked his leash and dragged him to the back. I could hear here huffing and puffing and she was extremely rude and did not want to be there… Dogs were screaming the entire time and they seem extremely understaffed I do not believe my dog was fed as much as he was supposed to as he came back to me much skinnier even though I was told he was eating, The owner wont even return my calls this place is janky as well. Do not take your dogs here, and I would like to add not once did she ask for vaccination records, very unprofessional and unsafe. Not to mention they have deleted my reviews multiple times

I've gotta say, I do love Kenlyn Kennels - and so does my dog! We use their daycare facility quite often, and I've been super pleased with their excellent service, flexibility, and professionalism. Everyone is so warm and welcoming, which goes a long way when leaving your dog in someone's care. The staff's fun-loving spirit, respectful ways, and obvious love of dogs is a great clue into why my little guy is always so happy (and tired!) when I pick him up. In fact, when I drop him off he can hardly wait to leave me in the dust!We've also taken training classes at Kenlyn and I've had him groomed there a couple of times. I've been really happy with these services as well. It's pretty great having a one-stop shop, so to speak. They know my dog, he knows and loves them, and I continue to enjoy interacting with all the good people who work there.I can't say enough about how much I appreciate this place. They've been a real life saver! Thank you Kenlyn Kennels, from me and my pup!

I was told from many people and my veterinarian that this boarding kennel is highly recommended. I couldn't get into my veterinarian that does boarding was booked. I have never had my dog boarding before only watched by friends and family. We went on a week vacation out of state. When I walked in there the staff was very rude towards us, I didn't even got a chance to say goodbye to my dog. When I asked if we could say goodbye. I got "oh I though you did already and said she didn't want us to get the other dogs worked up" I understood that. I called a couple days later to see how my dog was doing, got a very short answer that everything was good. When we picked him up, was told they took his bed out because it was to much to keep taken it in/out to clean the kennels. So they give my dog a blanket. Whiched I asked not to because he is a chewing and already had stomach surgery due to a blockage from a blanket. Then the worker kept calling my dog a girl, which he is a he and had him all week drove me nuts. Then when we got home, that night notice him sneezing and coughing and has gotten worst sense. Getting him into the vet asap. I will never take my dog there again, and I will not recommend them to anyone.

Doggy Daycare review - my girls have been going to Kenlyns for about 2 years now! They are always excited to go and tired when getting home! Lots of play time. Caring employees! I've never left them overnight, so I can not comment on that, but we are still going for Doggy Daycare! And thankful that we can!Revised 2023 : the girls no longer go. I have kenneled them here. NEVER again. The owner would not let them go to daycare due to it raining ... but has never turned them away when taking them for doggy daycare. They were not allowed outside a kennel for 2 full days. When i found out, I called and spoke with the owner herself, and she could not give me a reason. Just they can't go to daycare. Yes, this was prepaid and previously set up. I literally took my vacation during the week so they could go to doggy daycare during the day. This happened in 2023.It is my understanding from previous employees that the owner is not capable of running a business. They are not disgruntled employees but are going the legal route to get paid what they are owed. This trickles down to our pets treatment.

My family has always used Kenlyn Kennels and love it! I recently needed to board our pups for the 1st time ever!! I called ahead and spoke with Lynn. She made me feel so positive about boarding our dogs. I was so apprehensive about my dogs having to go, and Lynn made me feel so much better about it. Our dogs did great! I checked on them and was so enlightened that they were doing so good! It just goes to show that the owners & staff are well trained and can handle it all!

Love to use this kennel for my Cairn terrier. He loves their play space and always seems happy to be dropped off there. Not sure what they do, but he always seems to be so well behaved when he returns home! Highly recommended!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Kenlyn and their staff. I have used Kenlyn for training classes, doggie day care, and overnight boarding since my dog was a puppy. To this day, he still goes nuts in the car when he realizes he is headed to Kenlyn. I'm so thankful for the staff who love my dog like their own, I never doubt that he is in good hands when I am away. Their facility is conveniently located, clean and well maintained and there is plenty of room for my big dog to run and play.

This place and people are amazing! I came in from out of town (out of state as well). They were very accommodating to my Newfies. Large areas for the dogs, awesome pricing and clean facilities. They adjusted their schedule so I could get an early pick to get on the road.I would highly recommend Kenlyn Kennels to locals and out of staters 🙂Thank again for taking care of my kids ❤🐾🐾

They take well care of your family members. My dogs always smell amazingly clean of course I have them shampooed as a treat while they're there. Employees are very friendly and accommodating.

Kenlyn is the best in the stateline area for boarding, training and day care services for your dog. No question.I'm confident saying this because I've tried other facilities, done the research and I want the best care for Libby when I can't be with her.If you're really into your dog, I'd recommend observing or participating in a training workshop. You'll get to meet many dog-loving folks like yourself and Lynn, the owner of the kennel.She has lots of awards and whatever but, more importantly, she really knows her stuff when it comes to caring for dogs and training people how to communicate with canines.

Jeff is a very knowledgeable trainer and understands the temperament of each dog breed. His calm demeanor gives confidence to the dog and master alike.He has a hands on approach but gives instruction on how to work with your dog at home.He also will sing a Bee Gees song for you if you ask

We have been taking our 8 month old terrier mix dog "Oliver" to Kenlyn's Kennels for a couple of months now.  We utilize the doggie day care two days a week and have also taken advantage of some basic training techniques.  We have found that all of the day care staff is genuinely mindful of the dog's care and well being.  Oliver is kept very busy playing with his dog friends at day care.  It is nice to know your pet is receiving positive attention by the staff while at Kenlyn's Kennels.Jeff Yoon's training approach and presentation is both informative and beneficial for dog and owner.  He makes the dog owner realize that they are the "portal" for all the dog's activities and in control of how the dog responds.  We have found Jeff's techniques helpful on recent walks at the local dog park as well as Oliver's behavior around the house.We strongly recommend Kenlyn's Kennels to anyone.Hal and Deb HaugomPosting for the haugoms

I love the place my puppy has so much fun she comes home every day with so tired and had learned many thanks people there really care about every puppy and are helpful give you report card on how your puppy did that day it's setup so nice and there are many ladies that work with your puppy I'm very happy that she's going there and soon she will be going not just a daycare but boot camp at the same time I am not well so it's helpful to have such beautiful rapport about her and her behavior he has a lot more to go but I'm sure the ladies will continue to help me
