I have been trying to track down my ill sons’ medications as they were not sent to our correct pharmacy. Things have been going very poorly for us and his meds were changed. Mayo told us this Walgreens location had them. I called to verify and I was unfortunate to talk w Joanna. First she said No they did not have them. Then I told her where I got the info that they were in fact at this location etc and she changed her answer to yes. I was relieved. She didn’t bother to say, “oh, my mistake” , read on you’ll understand why.I verified the pick up address and the info I would need to pick them up…she YELLED it into the phone, apparently I repeated myself and it annoyed her. She Hollered it really. I said that was unnecessary to yell at me. She said it was to make sure I heard her. Her rudeness should be noted and addressed. I won’t tolerate being yelled at without saying something about it.Update: I picked up the prescriptions and there is no Joanna. Isaiah assisted me and was very nice. He said perhaps a “call center person” took my call. So I feel badly about the 1 ⭐️ for this location because Isaiah handled my transaction just fine.Call center then should be addressed by management.

I've been calling around for hours to get an appointment for some travel vaccines. This walgreens had the best staff I've talked to all day by far. Very helpful

This place blows. Never have I seen a business claim to be 24 hours yet close whenever they feel like it at a moments notice. They will claim to be open 24 hours, then close at 11p the next day, open at 7am, then close at 10p, open at 9a, then be open for 24 hours again for a day, then close at 9p again. Their hours are all over the place. Hope this place shuts down someday, we have CVS across the street so walgreens can stop letting people down and just call it a day

this store is a slum!! very poorly organized and smells terrible. bathrooms are always dirtyhygiene has been an issue with employees for a while now. Apparently one of their workers(short hair) think is okay to burp in-front of customers faces!! DISGUSTING!!! I have had so many bad experiences in this store and their employees lately it’s unacceptable. Came in yesterday to get ONE item and had to wait in line while the other worker just stood on her phone and didn’t come help until another customer asked her to . When she finally got on registers to help she rudely started throwing items around. if you do not like your job, WORK SOMEWHERE ELSE!!workers are lazy and rude. can’t ask a question without getting yelled at by the older cashier. i’ve come to this store multiple times and only one person working the registers with a huge line while other workers and managers are laughing and talking. why work there if you’re not gonna do your job!!!if i could give negative stars i would.

Every-time I go to pick up my prescription the drive thru workers are incredibly rude. I have left crying three times now. I will be transferring my prescription elsewhere!

We were in line at 1:10 pm. After finally getting to the window at 1:40 they told us it was closed and we could not get our prescription until after 2:00 because they were on lunch. They were extremely rude and short tempered to not only us but the people in line next to us as well. Will be looking to see if we can get this filled at a different location.

There is always some sort of issue. I'm glad my disability isn't worse and it's just an inconvenience. Went to another Walgreens in a different state for years and never had a problem there and it was a much more populated area. Tired of the hassle and probably be trying a different pharmacy. These guys really need to get it together.

It's Walgreens. If your unsure of their products & services, I am unsure how to teach common sense. No drive thru for this pharmacy so pray your mobility is withstanding. Photo Lab here is their forte. Minimal food, wines, hard liquor, beer, ice cream, and cleansing/beautifying products.

Get you business together Walgreens Pharmacy. All drive through windows have been closed for weeks, and the lines inside are nuts. I recommend giving your money to another company. Try cvs at least their drive through is open and lines move quickly

This pharmacy is a joke. It is definitely not 24 hours, the waiting line is always long and they never have your prescription ready when they say they will. In the span of 30 minutes waiting in line I saw almost every customer in front of me leave in disgust or anger at something. They will mess up orders, cancel orders without notification, and shut down for lunch in the middle of helping a customer so that customer has to wait until they finish lunch to come back. On top of all of that they are really rude.At this point I'll never go to a Walgreens again.

Daniel the pharmacist let me know that I wasted his time giving him the wrong “patient” information when I was trying to attempt to update my insurance information after reluctantly having to transfer my prescription from CVS. When I called him on the way he was speaking to me and asked for his manager information he hung up. It is not a surprise this place has terrible reviews. I have attempted to use this pharmacy a handful of times and every situation has been a total headache. The level of incompetence and disrespect for customers is the only outstanding thing about this place. Avoid. The managers must not care either because I’ve heard this has been an issue for a long time.

This location is AWFUL. Always under staffed. They never get my medication filled or ordered on time. Every single time my med prior authorization is sent to them even with a heads up that it's coming they lose the paperwork or do not fill it out. This pharmacy is the reason I end up having to go without my meds at times because of their lack of care or concern. You call and after waiting hours they pick up and then hang the phone up immediately or they say they will get someone to help you and put you back in queue to never answer the phone. They are extremely unprofessional.

I went to pick up 2 prescriptions and was told it would be a half hour. I waited and when I went back they said that was only for one of them. Was told the other would be ready in 20 minutes. I waited again....in pain......When I returned they informed me that they were out of that drug and I would have to go to a different Walgreens. They told me it would be ready in 10 minutes. I drove to the other store and was told it would be ready in an hour. Obviously, they have serious communication issues .

Worst Walgreens pharmacy experience I’ve ever had. Very difficult to talk to and deal with! Save your time and go to the Walgreens on Clairemont! This place is a joke!

Drive thru and in store pharmacy is an hour wait, no matter the time of day. Don't bother calling because they do not pick up the phone. Always on hold for over an hour. Pharmacy operates similar to a circus. The convenient location is not worth the time you will waste waiting around on them. Going to any other pharmacy would be better than this one.

Just got to this store early to pick up my wife’s inhaler. She called 2 days ago early to make sure they had her inhaler ready because there was an insurance issue. They assured us it was ready. We came in to a long line already. I noticed the one person working the register constantly was picking at his ears and touching his hair constantly without using any type of sanitizer. He’s handing out medications and I just find that very unsanitary and disgusting. He kept making small talk with people as the line kept getting longer and longer. When we finally got up there he said there was a problem with our pick up, went to the back to “look for it” and I just saw him drinking his coffee walking around talking about his day to his other workers. He came back and said we need to wait an hour, and said we can’t pass the line when we come back even though my wife called 2 days ago and needs her inhaler now. Then gave us attitude. I’m so sick of the pharmacy here. It’s the closest to our home and the only one we use. The lines are always so long, and drive thru is always closed. Hire more people or train them to be better or just shut down.

Shut this place down. I went in to pick up a medication that I was told was ready 2 days prior. Come to the store, waited in line for 48 minutes, (while in line, watching the pharmacy guy with black shoulder length hair, constantly picking his ears and his hair and nails and watching whatever he picked fall to the counter. Absolutely disgusting) I then got up to the counter to pick up my medication and it wasn’t ready. I asked them why because I had this ready 2 days ago and all of a sudden when I really need it, it’s not there. He got a bad attitude with me and told me he would “go check on it”. While “checking on it” he stood and walked in circles drinking his coffee. I’ve been having my medication sent here since I was a child. I’ve never been so disrespected and treated like my life wasn’t worth his time. I will NOT be going to this location again and I will be telling friends and family the same thing. Get better workers, train them to be respectful to customers, or shut down this store.

Went in to buy a gift card and had $130 on me. Gift card has a $5.95 activation fee, so I asked for $124.05 to be put on the card ($124.05 + $5.95 = $130). Cashier told me that he could only put $130 on the card. After arguing about the math and him trying to tell me “the register can’t do cents” he then made me walk out to my car to hunt for another $5.95. Upon entering the store again, he then tells me he can do $125. Absolutely incompetent, ridiculous and a massive waste of my time.

Staff is always in a great mood and super helpful. Nothing is better than walking into an establishment and see smiling faces engaging with the customers so easily. One of the pharmacy staff was so cheerful and enthusiastic about life that she made my whole day.

What an absolute joke! Scheduled a rapid NAAT Covid test on the app. Had to for work, and others at work were directed there. After waiting 30 minutes in the drive through, I pull up to the window and the RUDE woman working said she didn't have an appointment for me and I must be wrong. After showing her my appointment confirmation, you could tell she was down right mad at me. Another 20 min late, finally get the test. Turn it over to her and she goes "4-5 business days they will email the results" I clarified that this was supposed to be the rapid test, she just cut me off saying "what do you want me to do, I don't make the website. Go some where else than". I was shocked so darn right I did. Some where that cares about their customers.

I have been taking the same medication for 4 years. I see my doctor on the same day every month and he sends my rx on the same day every month, yet somehow this pharmacy is always out of stock so i end up having to come back multiple times, stand in line for 45 minutes and waste so much time, not to mention clogging up the pharmacy line which is always out the back door. I have asked them for years to just set a reminder to order more each month, but that didn't work. Pharmacy staff told me I should call in a week prior to ask that they order it in advance, but when i did I was told they have to have the prescription in hand before they can place the order... I don't know what else to do but i am at my wits end with this place. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere.

got notice being stated. then more on app.. note said we're behind, we'll update you. 1 wk later app said prescription was canceled. called, they said they put through again. again told they are behind, 5 says later, again canceled. call again and told it was never processed. finally ready 2 days later. then 50 minute wait to pick up. this is really frustrating.

My prescriptions where supposed to be ready an hour ago. I called to get an approximate time frame i wasn't at all rude or mad. The lady on the other end however was very rude. She refused to give me a estimated time and pretty much hung up on me. Maybe try treating your costumers better. A lot of us aren't feeling well as it is. We don't need your attitude. Part of the problem is they are always under staffed which is why I was understanding. Don't take your frustrations out on your sick costumers though

There are terribly understaffed. They cannot handle their pharmacy demands. People should not have to wait in line for FILLED prescription for 30-45 minutes. I attempted to do online delivery through the app, and it did not work. I tried the app one more time, and it still wouldn’t process my prescriptions. Additionally if I try to refill my prescriptions on the app, it doesn’t send that communication to the pharmacy. This is so frustrating and I’m ready to head somewhere else for my prescriptions.

I don't think I have ever had a flawless experience at this Walgreens or any Walgreens. I downloaded the app to try and simplify things but it only seems to add to the trouble. Prescriptions say that they are done but there not. Prescriptions are wrong. They argue with the hospital. Can't fill as prescribed. Took over a YEAR to get a monthly prescription switched to every 3 months so I could deal with them less. Constantly updating me on false information. Soon I will need pills just to deal with getting pills from Walgreens. Save yourself before it's to late and go to CVS or by mail.After writing this review the next time I had to go there somehow my prescriptions doubled in price. They than told me it was because it was a 3 month prescription rather than monthly. I told them I had got it before and they called me a lier. I than pulled the information up on my phone and showed them and they said there records don't go back that far. Your trying to tell me your medicine records go away after less than 3 months? They than blamed it on my insurance company which I than called and basically said Walgreens is making things up. I than transferred everything to a different pharmacy.

My husband is disabled and always uses the drive thru for his prescriptions. Since that is now closed due to staffing issues, he is not able to get his medicine. I went inside to get his meds for him, and stood in line for an hour. Literally, one hour! Got to the cashier and she says that my insurance covers very little of the costs, so she pushed some Walgreens prescription Plan on me. I asked her to run GoodRX and she said she couldn’t. I know she could, she just didn’t want to.How does a company expect disabled persons to pick up medications when they can’t stand for an hour?
