Staff were super helpful with locating a product we were specifically looking for. They found the hockey stick in stock, and we were able to know this before making the trip. This store always offers customer service at the best level.

This store has the best associates I have ever experienced. They were knowledgeable and went out of their way to help us in any department. Our teenage grandsons will only shop at Scheels for all their sports. Now we see why

Love the products scheels sells but every time I go to buys shoes I am completely ignored. Recently went and there were three guest to help and I was standing with the shoes I wanted to try and and wasn't greeted or acknowledged. Waited 5 minutes and still nothing so I walked out. Never buying shoes there and not shopping there for a while.

DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE!I spent hours shopping other institutions, leaving defeated by prices and poor selection.NOT AT SCHEELS!!!You want to learn a new sport, buy a cayak, snowboard, gun, warm jacket, a quality shoe, or team apparel. This is the place....do not shop elsewhere. Start here, I promise from experience you will be blown away by the incredible selection and knowledge staff.There are staff members in every department and managers walking the premises. Before you even make eye contact with that overwhelmed/confused look on your face they are next to you helping you make the right choice.I had that look shopping for my husband's birthday gift. He wanted a cellular trail camera. The employee in the area spotted that look and swooped in to the rescue! Not only did he help me pick the best option for our family, he made my husband the envy of our hunting group! Everyone (except me, of course) knew this was an incredible camera! Reveal cellular camera - Tactacam... That service member stayed with me over an hour going through each camera and even offering a live walk through of installation.Now to Jameson in the shoe department. This gentleman needs some serious accolades. Please acknowledge this incredible associate! Any business would benefit greatly from him and Scheels is blessed to have this human. He took the time to properly fit 3 of us, bring us countless options, encouraged my 8 year old to come out of his comfort zone and try laces. He took the time to explain the safety and benefits behind each choice and each pair of shoes. He was beyond knowledgeable of each and every brand. He was patient, kind, and extremely trustworthy. Never pushing us, but fully explained the benefits of quality shoes. Back to my 8 year old who has never learned to tie his shoes....Jameson sat side by side until he got it! We all celebrated! I would sing his praises till my voice ran dry! If you go to the shoe department ask for JAMESON! If your a head hunter, there is some serious talent behind that young man! Being in the corporate world for 15 years, I know the value of an employee like that!Supply shortage.....the excuse I received from so many other businesses. Yeah, not at SCHEELS! The prices are very fair, if not on the lower end of other businesses. I did see a price match sign, although I am not sure if applies storewide.Dane, a walking manager also spent time helping to narrow down a Christmas present in the wool sock area.Like I said earlier, don't waste your time. Go to Scheels 1st.I am completely blown away by the service my family and I received! Thank you!

I ordered a rifle to be delivered to the Eau Claire Scheels store. I was told in advance that it would have the trigger that I was interested in. After driving 200 miles to pick up the rifle, I observed that it did not have the correct trigger. My purchase was refunded and I returned home without the gun. What a joke!I would highly recommend avoiding this store for firearms purchases. It's like the Walmart version of a sporting goods store. Lots of employees with very limited knowledge of the products they sell.

Had been pretty excited to find some good clearance deals on Hey Dude shoes. Found one style that was supposed to be about $34 vs the normal full price of about $64. Rang up full price. When this was politely questioned, the sales clerk was rude and dismissive, and didn't offer to have the price checked or otherwise try resolve the issue. It was a very disappointing/frustrating experience. Needless to say we left without making that purchase.

Always have a great shopping experience when we go to Scheels! We bought a new treadmill. Eli suggested one of their mats. This saved me from having to look for a rug or mat elsewhere.

Scott in the baseball department was fantastic. The way he bounced between customers to take care of us all was amazing. I did not know the needs of a first time 13 year old baseball player but Scott knocked it out of the ballpark. If he lived closer I would look to bring him into our business. Exceeded our expectations.

Parking stinks, and it seems like most people park there and walk through to the remainder of the mall. But clean store, friendly and helpfull staff.The people who work in their departments generally know what they are talking about.

I love the Scheels culture that their sales associates are truly knowledgeable and love what they work with in each department. These guys are some of the most helpful when it comes to fishing, hunting, etc. Always enjoy my time in these beautiful stores! We are lucky to have one to serve the NW area of Wisconsin!

Go and see Ed Kimbro the golf specialist at the golf shop in Eau Claire Wisconsin for a club fitting and lessons, I highly recommend him super knowledgeable in the sport and an amazing guy all around. 5 stars for Mr. Kimbro.

We love Scheels in Eau Claire, WI! It is conveniently located within the Oakwood Mall and has shopping carts for our toddlers to ride in. Additionally, the kids love the mini-bowling game! Staff have always been friendly, helpful and attentive. The store is clean, organized and well stocked. We look forward to shopping there again soon!

Nobody here asks if you need help with anything (basic retail 101). I was shopping in the women’s department, and not only did no one say hello or ask if I needed any help, one employee came right up next to me and basically shoved clothes on to the small rack that I was browsing (without acknowledging me). Wow, just wow.

This was my 1st visit to a Scheels, while on a business trip in Eau Claire.Very helpful staff and great selection of products. I also enjoyed all the different mounts throughout the store, especially the HUGE Alaskan brown bear. I highly recommend them.
