We just wanted a simple white cake for our wedding so we could decorate as we so pleased. The cake was more so for pictures, as we purchased other desserts from Sam's Club for our dessert bar. We placed our order for the cake the week of, and the cake was ready that Saturday morning, the day of our wedding. My dad was able to pick up the cake and we got it decorated before everyone started to arrive. The cake was moist, and the cost was very budget friendly. If you are a DIYer and want to save money for your wedding, I highly recommend going with Sam's Club!

Had to re-new my membership and the manager helped me. She loved her job, told me so AND you could tell! She was so nice!! We had a few laughs too! Otherwise, was the usual Saturday madness, but got what we needed. Prices went up a bit, but still worth it, especially for the paper products. Worth it to our house. Totally.

I returned a Himalayan Salt Grinder today. The representative at the membership desk had to look up the receipt because I don't keep my receipts for very long.It just happens that I stocked-up and bought several of them in November 2022. But I just opened the last one and after a couple of uses, it was over 3/4 full, the plastic that was holding the grinder separated, so I couldn't use the grinder any longer.I thought, no big deal, I will just exchange it because it's defective. But the representative said we will do this just once. I said, but it is defective, it's only a $4 product. Don't you back up the products that are defective? Then she gave me a speech about their 90 days return policy. I told her that I stocked up on them and put them in my pantry and this was my last one and it was just opened.The just of this review is to not stock up on anything from Sam's Club because they don't even back up defective items. They gave me my money back just this one time, but now I know I will be stocking up on things from Costco. They honor returns and especially for defective productions regardless of time.It was defective. It was $4. The manager on staff tried to compare this to buying a tv. I said really? I believe they should backup a defective product, non-electronics, no matter what.Maybe you feel differently, but I was made to feel like a thief.

I went to my local Sam’s Club Pharmacy today for immunizations and meds. The pharmacist and staff went out of their way to be helpful and to give me in depth information. A very good experience! Thank you Eau Claire Sam’s Club Pharmacy! I highly recommend you!

I enjoy shopping at Sam's club, they keep the store clean and well organized. The only issue is that the milk is never in a decent date range. It's always expiring within a few days, usually in 4 days!

Mike in the tire center is amazing and does a great job even short handed but needs some support to help him. Lisa who use to work in tires on the receiving desk was amazing as well and Lisa’s knowledge of tires was super helpful in picking tires that were right for the car and we have been happy with them ever since.The tire center could use more help because they always are running and short handed. Great job on such a small staff. I hope you get some help!

Ordered tires online and the order never fully processed. I tried to call the Eau Claire club and was rerouted due to "high call volumes" I explained my question about my order to the customer service and they transferred me to the local club. It rang and rang and then hung up. I tried the next day and was rerouted again and the customer service wasn't about to get anyone in any department to answer so they said I needed to go into the club which is very inconvenient since I live an hour away. I went in and had to wait 10 minutes before anyone showed up to help. The auto department did fix my order but I watched as the girl in member services played on her phone while doing nothing. That's very high call volumes apparently. Clearly they have the phones turned off. Overall, the club just isn't interested in customer service.

I would definitely recommend using the scan and go option on the app. It's so much faster, you skip the line, and just head to the exit once you've checked out on your phone. Overall, I love Sam's Club, especially the bite-sized brownies. Mmmmmmm.....

I had to wait quite a bit to renew my membership... made me mad. They no longer give you a military discount on a gift card. You have to wait to get it on your membership... this is a crock. My service to the United States never took 3 to 7 days.

There was ONE actual cashier in the middle of a Saturday. And I only saw ONE CSM. The 6 open self checkout lanes were at a minimum 4 customers deep. I had 13 items and was going to try scan and go, but it wouldn't work with wifi or without because it was so overloaded with people trying to do the same.

The first time I shopped there, I had a question and, wanting to be polite, I started with polite conversation, but before I could ask my question, the employee rolled her eyes at me and walked away. I tried asking another employee, but THAT person dismissed my question altogether and changed the subject.The café was the only okay thing for me there, but I won’t be coming back to that location.

I like that they have good prices and a nice selection of products. I know that it is difficult these days to get help but Jack at the door said nothing to me until after he checked three items in my cart because I had used scan and go. Then he said "you can go". Really?? Not thank you, nothing as I walked up like hi, or did you find everything, how are you....nope! You can go now! Thankfully I needed help earlier and a sweet girl helped me, and then she said have a nice day..not everyone was unfriendly!

Good prices, good experience, staff was helpful when we had questions as first time shoppers. For those that aren't technology friendly however could see this being a challenging shopping experience. Certainly worth the trip as we live rural ly and saved us time and money :)

Good value. Variety of products. Good place to buy brand names at lower prices. Good variety of quality wines and spirits at low prices. The roast chicken is$4.98 for 3#. What a deal. The hot dog combo deal is now $1.38. Amazing.

Store is going down hill, the produce is old - if they have it, the rotisserie chickens are small now and who ever is roasting them isn't letting the skin brown up more than once I've had to reheat at home because they were not done completely. We rely on the chickens heavily because it used to be a bargain but lately we have had to pass on them. Allowing AT&T to harrass people as they walk in the door is a major turn off, I end up walking 3 or 4 rows away so i dont have to repeat no thank you 10 times. Employees need have retraining on customer service the people at the door are grouchy.

Apparently salespeople are now allowed to aggressively target you in the store. This evening the AT&T rep harassed us as we walked past her station. Three times my wife politely said 'no thank you, not interested'. Each time the salesperson rudely pushed back at us. It took 4 clear refusals to get her to stop. My wife finally said "I was kind three times. Now you're just being rude!" This is ridiculous. Her rudeness left us upset for the rest of our shopping experience. Please reign these people in!

My family and I were driving all the way from south Louisiana to visit family in Duluth Minnesota. We were so close to our destination when we suddenly got a flat tire. Everywhere we initially called was closed for the 4th of July holiday. We finally called the tire shop at Sam's Club in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and asked if they could help us. We were 15 minutes away and they were closing in 30 minutes, but they said they would try their best to help us. We arrived 10 minutes before they closed, and they very graciously patched our flat tire and took off our spare and put the patched tire back on, all for no charge! They wouldn't even accept a gratuity. This required them to work about 10 minutes late, but we were so incredibly thankful! After an exhausting 1,320 mile drive, we were able to safely arrive to our destination in time to wish my mom a happy birthday. Thank you, thank you! Give these guys a raise!

In past years I have loved the rotisserie chickens. I bought one 2 weeks ago that not only smelled differently, but when you cut into it there was kind of a slimy substance in the center. I called the store and the gal I talked to said "maybe it wasn't cooked all the way". I was pretty stunned. Sam's is selling chicken that is not cooked all the way? Today I gave it another try and found the same thing was true. I ended up throwing about 1/3 out. What is going on with your chicken? I'll go get mine at Festival.

Spent 2 hours shopping and 20 minutes in line only to have the rude cashier refuse to check us out because she didn't want to type in the member code. First time trying out Sam's club was literally a joke you can't do something as simple as take care of a paying club member. I will likely cancel my membership immediately.

I always buy family birthday cakes at the Sam's club in Eau Claire and have had some beautiful ones that I ordered and bought out of the cooler already decorated. Not this time. There were no cakes in the cooler at all on a Thursday late afternoon. There were several of the large packs of cupcakes and all of them were the same, decorated with sprinkles (which my family hates). The only options were whipped or other frosting. I had to assume the other was buttercream. There was no one working in the bakery, just a sign that said "We will be back later". Since I live an hour out of town and had a time limit I took the "other frosting" ones. They were smaller than the last time I bought them (July) and packaged differently. They were hard to get out of the plastic (bad for the environment) which made them very messy. They tasted exactly like Walmart bakery cupcakes. Very inferior to how they used to be. I am looking for somewhere else to buy cakes now. I won't be using the Sam's bakery. The other problem I had that day was that we were looking for Johnsonville brats and all they had at E.C. Sam's was Members Mark. I was able to make a quick stop at Woodman's to pick up the Johnsonville brats. I probably will not be renewing my Sams membership.

Busy Busy!!!! Lots of things for summer and floats. There are many different items to choose from in the frozen foods some new breakfast items and frozen vegetables. Good buys on the chicken and that type of meat. Lots of stuff to look at and the store has been rearranged again and that they could stop doing but otherwise its nice. Keep looking for new items they have them every time I go. Great place for stock up items.

Sams ManagementI was extremely disappointed by the Eau Claire Sams location on Oct 17th. The young woman at the exit of the store who checks your receipt could not get her hand-held scanner to work. She called for help from a co-worker. who also didn't know how to solve the issue and ultimately who radio' d for assistance. The line to leave the club continued to grow and at its peek was nearly to the Pharmacy. NO Management responded or brought a new scanner. The co-worker ran to the back office and brought back several scanners to fix the issue. I in no-way was angry with the two employees at the door.But with the calls for help and the hundreds of video cameras to make visible the traffic jam in the building i was EXTREEMLY irritated with the manager on duty. Where were they? Why did they leave their employees hanging? The entire situation was OBSENE and was probably too much for a front-end supervisor or store manager to come down and help clear the line and say 'sorry'. The employee was so embarrassed and frustrated, i felt so bad for what they probably get paid was not given training or a backup plan if the scanner stopped working, you know technology never fails.I was so over the situation and wanted to make a point by leaving the building - but was held hostage to the fact that if i left with my goods, which i paid for was likely a target for Sam's and Law Enforcement to accuse me of stealing.Costco, you will be successful when you open your doors in Eau Claire next year, the bar is so low.ps, i have a photo of the line but want to protect the privacy of the customers and their faces, saddened like mine.
