They offer great deals to get you in the door, but they don't actually have any of those items in stock. You'll fill your cart and then realize you either have to spend more on something else or you have to go somewhere else. Bare shelves around the store. I should have saved the time and gone to Woodmans

1st time at this grocery. MANY options on things, even in just the few aisles I went through. Very clean and well lit. Large aisles with a lot of space. I went later at night so some of the secondary shops inside were closed, but I am hoping to visit again to see what is offered. Parking spots are a little narrow but there is a lot of parking. Electric vehicle plug-ins. I am impressed with the baked goods quality as we've had the cookies and pumpkin pie! Self check-out was quick and efficient.

We like the food bars. Cost effective and variety.Many deals on regular food items. Hamburger was 1.98. Really good. Just had to sign up to be a member other wise you get regular pricing. Not any more!

I love how big this store is! Lots of stuff to choose from. There are some real bargains to be had at this store. I highly recommend downloading the app! I have to travel at least 45 minutes to go to Hy-Vee as I live in a small town, but it is well worth going when I have a lot of grocery shopping to do. You could also shop on the app and have them get your groceries ready and just pick them up as well. They also do delivery within a certain mile radius. This is a fantastic store!!

Happy hour is "happy" again lol! They are fully staffed again :)HAPPY HOUR IS NO MORE - at the moment! They are having problems with having a bartender. Went Monday and Fri night - CLOSEDThey have an amazing happy hour! All taps are $3.00!! That's the best deal in the area! All starters are also $5.00 - I've had the won tons which I would order again and the sloppy Joe nachos which I would NOT order again.The first time the appetizer took 30 min to come out. The next day it was 5 min. So not sure what the difference is. The bartender was the same both days. The 2nd day there was 2 less groups than the day before.I will be going back for happy hour here. Probably too much!!

Customer service is top notch. They've always made sure the customer is happy. Price-wise, pretty comparable to other stores and you have to use the member card and coupons to save some dough.

I decided to visit the Hy-Vee for my grocery stop in Eau Claire to see what they were all about. I found their store to be clean and bright, and had an overall pleasant shopping experience.The produce was fresh and nicely managed. The meats were all very well stocked. The cheese and dairy was all very cold and well maintained. If you buy their fresh sourdough, you won’t be disappointed!I also appreciated the other offerings in the store including some clothing, a Starbucks, and a wine bar. Their liquor store was nice and had a good layout. I was also impressed with their humidor. I will definitely be returning!

Store is basically the polar opposite of aldis. From the classy meeting area, wide range of foods from standard quality to high grade. Amazing selection of taps in the bar area. Nice fast WiFi. Don’t have to go outside to visit the liquor section. On the down side, they did not have any Japanese beers (c’mon HyVee - Sapporo is brewed in la crosse Wi). Also a bit lacking on Asian foods.

Absolutely love this place!! It has an amazing liquor department with competitive prices and great selection, not only on hard liquor but the beer selection is amazing too! The deli is impressive and the grocery/miscellaneous selection is on steroids. Huge selection of fresh meats and I'm really drawn to the fresh bread section. I've probably bought over 40 loaves of bread from from here lol. It is high quality delicious bread at a low price and a great selection to chose from. Love hyvee!!

I was super excited when Hy-Vee was announced for Eau Claire as I'm familiar with their stores further south. This one breaks the norm and tries to be a boutique market. Not only can you get aged, exotic cheeses, but you can get shoes, a manicure, or even exercise equipment. The hot deli looked better than it tasted. The prices are very hit-or-miss when compared to Walmart, Woodman's, or Festival. Some are great while other are crazy high. The meat section of the deli is probably one of the best parts along with the bakery. Huge selection of quality meats at good prices. You'll probably develop a list of your go-to items to get here and the rest somewhere else if you aren't sticking to the ad.

This is a nice grocery store with lots of deli and cheese options, a huge produce section and a nice liquor store. I wish there was more, better-quality organic produce. Also, the way things are organized is super confusing to me, so I usually go to Festival where overall prices are cheaper and I can find things more easily.

It's the first grocery store I've ever been in that has a full bar. There was a lady sitting there having a drink which is why it caught my eye when I walking into the wine and beer section. I couldn't believe it. It's a great idea. As far as the grocery area it was very well stocked and spotless.

**update**per the reply, I reached out via email on 4/12, and have yet to receive a reply back.Ad said Jacks pizza was on sale for $1.99. The ad said nothing about a limit. When we got to the checkout the sale only came off of 1 pizza (we got 6). The cashier was also confused and was going to fix it for us, after showing her the ad. Then she saw a manager and asked them and his response was “there are signs all over the place that say a limit of 1.” If they are all over, at least one of us would have caught it. There was nothing there. If I wasn’t so annoyed I would have gone back and taken pictures. He then says that on the bottom of the flyer it says “Hy-vee reserved the right to limit quantities.” Will not be back to hy-vee again. Plenty of other options available in town that don’t scam you

Probably my most favorite grocery store . It’s clean everyone is friendly. It has a food court, bar, liquor store, deli , bakery, meat department,pharmacy, candy store , and a Starbucks . They offer prepared foods for easy meals as well as. Everything you need and fairly priced .

I ordered a red velvet cake from this place and it was the worst desert I have had in recent memory. It was so dry, we thought it must have been made several days ago. It was a small 9" cake and they charged $25! So, terrible food at really high prices?

Good selection, especially of higher quality meats, bakery, produce and deli. A bit more expensive than other markets in the area but that is somewhat offset by very good promotions.

The grocery store itself is awesome. There’s even a full blown candy shop in the middle that could rival Chippewa Candy Store. I love that there are so many grab and go food choice right at the front of the store.Unfortunately, we having a date night and the guys working at #HyChi were rude. First of all, it was barely 7pm and they had shut the grill off. The suggested “leftover” Chinese. Leftover? Not your best choice of words. Not appetizing AT ALL. When my husband didn’t order immediately, he was asked to hurry up as they were shutting down. Rude.Hyvee, why are your restaurants shutting down at 7pm?! That’s still peak dinner hours!

This review is only based on my experience with the PERKS program in Eau Claire. For 3 months I have been having issues redeeming store credit through PERKS. It originally worked fine for a few months when I first signed up, then stopped working. I spent 7 weeks trying to get this issue fixed. I was then told it was fixed. It worked all of twice, then back to not being able to redeem my accumulated store credit. Everything else works, PERKS prices, accumulating points, etc. The only thing that doesn't work is what matters most, REDEEMING THE EARNED STORE CREDIT. I have talked to store customer service, corporate customer service, even Phil, the store manager, more times than I can remember.. A total of at least 5 "tickets" or "case numbers" have been assigned to this issue. So now for the past month I am told it is being worked on yet again, even with an "emergency ticket" LOL! Yet yesterday at the store it still did not work. This is not rocket science, but it appears to be for Hy-Vee. I am back to doing 95% of my shopping at Festival.UPDATE: As expected the canned corporate reply is to urge me to "reach out" so they can "look into this further". I guess the first 8 people I "reached out to" a total of 12 times over 3 months wasn't enough "reaching out" and 1 more time might just do the trick.No thanks.

It's a new store. My first time going there. So it was a bit overwhelming 😳. As for going back. I dought it. I only stopped in cause I was in the neighborhood. I won't make a special trip to go there. I live over 60 miles away.

I ordered my birthday cake from HyVee and they did a great job!I provided them a photo of a cake design along with a photo of the flower colors I wanted. Beautiful!The cake was white with a lemon filling and buttercream frosting. Delicious! The lemon flavored cupcakes-divine. Thank you for a job well done!

Prices are reasonable and quality is high. They have fantastic hot food bars that are open until 9pm daily (hy-chi is a personal favorite) the selection here really cannot be beat with many unique and often eclectic offerings.

Incredibly impressed! I've never been to a Hy-Vee and being that this opened only a few days ago I was expected chaos. It seemed like shelves were stocked well and had a wide variety of items. It was like a mini mall inside of a grocery store. Aesthetics were great.We ordered Wahlburgers from the kiosk and were told it would be an hour wait but it was only 20 minutes. The seating area was a little confusing because there was a sign to wait for seating then we were told to seat ourselves then shortly after told to wait to be seated. Probably just opening week things to work out. Food was delicious!
