I passed through Trigs to get to one of my favorite coffee places. I noticed how quaint, clean, “small town” feeling this atmosphere was. The stores shelves were not overly stocked, but full, nonetheless. I appreciated the layout of this grocery store especially the cute shelf of “giftable” items.I did not need to buy from this store, but was glad to have had to pass through. Wish Marshfield would get a Trigs just like this

Cashier was rude to my husband and I while we were at the self-checkout. We turned down the volume because it was loud. The cashier came over and stated "we don't appreciate you turning the volume down, turn it back up" and they walked away. We have shopped at Trigs for many years and have never told to turn the volume up. We will take our business elsewhere.

I used to like shopping here until I was scolded by a rough looking baseball cap wearing homeless employee about where I'm allowed to park although there aren't any no parking signs present then as I was leaving an employee parked on the sidewalk in front of the door like they have privileges the paying customers don't. What a rough bunch. They must get paid a lot to have that much authority.

Every employee I’ve come in contact with is rude and condescending. Their system never works with WIC. I am treated like I’m stupid and an inconvenience.

Full service checkout the moment they open! Every employee we spoke to was friendly and helpful. Food was fresh and stocked. What a great experience! This was a perfect shopping experience. We will only shop here when in Eagle River.

No one came to help to see what I needed help finding. When I got to the check out, no one asked how my day was and I had to bag my own products. Not happy!!!

First time here. Prices competitive. Clean store. Everything easily marked. Great selection. Produce fresh. Friendly people. The list goes on. Defiantly will shop here again. I’m 40 miles away. Thank you!

I really like the store’s selection, layout and cleanness. However I can’t believe the rudeness of some of the workers there. First of all even the managers don’t say hello or acknowledge you in any way no matter how many times they’ve seen you there. I’ve encountered rude workers at the deli, dairy and service desk. The floral department is awesome. Very friendly. I returned some formula that I had purchased the day before because I bought the wrong kind. The woman at the service desk had an attitude and acted like she was doing me a favor. Certainly don’t get treated here like a valued customer!! Frankly I prefer Pick & Save.

I moved to Eagle River, Wisconsin, from southern Oregon three weeks ago. I heard Trig's was expensive. Imagine my shock when I see the price of a particular brand of Organic eggs at $13.49 a dozen. I paid $4.49 three weeks earlier in Oregon.I don't understand how 1/2 n 1/2 can be over $10 and eggs $13 right next to regular prices. But it is what it is.I discovered Kwick Trip for my eggs, butter, 1/2 n 1/2, pick n save for other items, and Amazon prime for bulk. The meat and cheese deli is nice, but the salads are all made with loads of sugar. Overall, I love Wisconsin and will just have to get creative when grocery shopping. Pick N Save is cheaper overall.

As someone who lives in Eagle River year round, it is nice to have a store like Trigs that does a good job of offering a rounded selection. I'm sure it can be a difficult job to keep everyone happy especially with large volumes of tourists that come to the area.Produce Department is nicely kept up and the prices are OK. Pay attention to the weekly flyers for the deals and a customer can save some money.Deli has a wide selection and some of the items are made onsite which are quite good. The Bakery is probably my least favorite department. Nothing taste fresh here. Everything that I have tried is dried out and taste day old, etc. I avoid it now.Meat department offers some great deals if you shop regularly. Just have to ignore some of the meat department employees who are not very friendly or customer focused. As far as Customer Service, it is very hit and miss. I can see that having to deal with the public on a daily basis can impact an employee's attitude. I have watched many customers acting entitled and self serving. There are many Trigs employees who are very friendly and helpful and then there are others that are not. However, it's a customer service job and Trigs could do a better job overall. The biggest negative is that Trigs Corporate has decided to stop accepting cash in the Self Check Out Lanes. I've heard many rumors why but none of them seem to be cost effective. Before I could do my weekly shopping and be in and out in 20 minutes using self check out. Now I have to wait for a check out lane to be opened and that can take 15-20 minutes of waiting in line. Even in the early morning hours. With the employee shortage, you would think that Trig's would want to have less people using the check out lanes but I guess not. I choose to pay cash as I have had many problem with credit card fraud in the past. I reached out to Trig's management for a comment but no response.Eagle River is lucky to have two grocery stores in the town. I hope Trigs continues to serve the local area.

The best midwest small-chain grocery store I've been to since Dierberg's. Friendly staff, and not an item out of place.

Great grocery store! Everyone is very nice and always willing to help you. The items that they put on sale are always in stock. In 10 months of shopping here, there was only 1 item that I wanted that was out of stock and they apologized and gave me a rain check. No matter what area you are shopping in, there are always associates working, so if you have a question or need help.Store is very bright and clean - always a plus. They also have a lot of registers open, so you never wait long to check out!

Last time I went in there they were playing polka. One "oom-pa-pa", after another. The most Wisconsin thing I have experienced in a long time, and I am on board.

When you are looking for a store with more variety of items, this grocery store is the place to go. Great for vacationing visitors to stock up. Good sized liquor section, nice deli counter, meat department has great items. I found the few items I needed that I couldn't get at the other grocery store in town. There is no loyalty program, but the prices are competitive.

This is not a perfect review. The bathrooms are about a 7 out of 10, higher is better. That over with, let's get to the best part. Meat and fish, deli, wine, dairy, frozen food... I think of eight 14 year old boys: cake and ice cream. All those are about a nine out of ten. This is a real gem in the north woods. If one needs to restock in bulk, or get some gourmet olives and some fine appetizers and wine for a sophisticated gathering, you can find it here. Excellent smoked meats, by the way.The personnel are what one might expect: mostly exceptional in terms of customer service. Very efficient, as well.Go try it. You'll be happy, and maybe a little fatter. And, you'll be popular at home!

Really nice store. Great selection but 4th July holiday week not all check out lines open. Customer lines of 8 deep about 15 minutes to get through. They may want to consider adding self check outs. That could help when not enough checkout clerks are available.

Shopped here while on vacation and not for the first time. Never have had a bad experience until today. Carol was extremely rude when checking us out. She was scanning our items and tossing them down the belt to the bagger. To get my attention when waiting for her to scan a larger item I was holding she yelled “HEY!”. Overall was very rude during checkout. She also wouldn’t respond to my mom whenever my mom asked a question, she just acted as if my mom wasn’t there. If you don’t like your job that much then maybe you should work on finding a new one.

Trigs supplied the food for our family reunion. Laura in the deli department was fantastic to work with. Her patience and suggestions were spot on and we had nothing but rave reviews about the flavor, quality and presentation of our dinner. Laura worked with the other departments to get everything from appetizers to desserts and it was all wonderful. Well done Laura and Trigs!

Ridiculous price gouging, super high prices, two and three times as much as you pay at Pick n Save. The tourists are gone now--- do the locals a favor and put some honest prices on your food! Organics rarely on sale and especially high prices on them! Criminal !!!!! Evidently few people care about price comparison because the place was packed when I was just in there.

Just wanted to send a quick note on our five stars given to the Trig’s ToGo Team! Dennis Kirby you truly went above and beyond in helping make our first experience an absolute success. Never thought we would have to use this service but perhaps others need to know how perfect and smooth everything went for our first time use. You saved the day for us and we appreciate the awesome customer service and outcome of our experience. Thanks again 🙌
