The best service. A great explanation of what and how things work with processing of venison. And the only place I will eat ground meats from. No bone chunks or fragments. Never fails it’s the best brats. Sticks and venison processing. He deserves the credit for it but I hope he don’t get no more business. Hahaha. But really if you want things done and done right. Go here. If you want your meat back from a deer and the best flavor. Go here. And try the brats. And all the stuff he makes. It’s great and in a class of its own.

I had venison sticks made this yearThey are the worst I ever had. They are as dry as sawdust. The owner tells me that is how they are because they add 50% beef. After many years of hunting and processing venison myself, this is not true.They are very good at making excuses for a terrible product and told me they will not rectify the issue.My call ended up with the gentleman hanging up on me.STAY AWAY FROM THOS BUSINESS

Had the best steaks I've had in a really long time this last week. Thank you to Prime Choice for some excellent steaks to have with our special Birthday Dinner. Outstanding!! We bought 4 filets from here last weekend (2 of each grade). They ask how you want them cut and then go cut them for you. Everyone agreed they were some of the best steaks they have ever had. The price per lb seemed expensive until we tried them. Worth every penny. Another couple got the boneless ribeyes which were also excellent.We also tried the beef sticks and some bread. The insanity sticks were fairly hot but had excellent flavor. The bread wasn't made there and you can tell. It tasted stale and was not good at all.If you are ever in the area I would highly recommend the steaks!

The perfect meat market. The two pound flank steak I purchased was grilled medium rare and shared among five adults. Lots left over for breakfast feast tomorrow or maybe even lunch. I served with the sour cream/mayo sauce with sides of sautéed onions and mushrooms, steamed green beans and broccoli. We all loved it! A special dinner among friends celebrated outdoors! What a treat!

Stopped in yesterday & bought some 10 oz choice filets to grill at our hotel. These were the BEST steaks I've ever made and better than most restaurants. Also bought some of their house seasoning and beef sticks. Excellent!

If you are looking for the best, stop by Prime Choice! I've purchased many USDA Prime and Top Choice ribeye steaks (since they are my favorite!) through the butcher shop, and I've NEVER been dissatisfied! I also know firsthand how great tasting their wild game recipes are if you bring venison or big game in for processing. I've had garlic summer sausage, snack sticks, and bratwurst made there, and they were great! Best thing about bringing your animal to them is, NO HAIR when the guys are done processing your steaks, roasts, etc! And you always get your own meat back! Great for us hunters who handle our animals properly, so our meat doesn't get mixed with "the other guys" mishandled mess! 😀

We were in the eagle river area and we headed to Lumpy’s for lunch when we passed this place. What a great find! We got ribeyes, porterhouses and sirloin steaks, they were cut to order and looked great! Made them on the grill that night and they were the most tender steaks I’ve had in a long time. Great customer service and great products highly recommend!

Great product. Very very good steaks, everything cut to order and they show it to you to make sure it's to your looking. Very nice, friendly owner and employees. We stop every time we're in the area and stop again on the way home for souvenir meat.

Picked up some venison the other day and just over 1/3 of it wasn't sealed properly. I'm now worried that it won't taste well but since I can't eat 6 sticks of sausage and 5 packs of hot sticks at once I won't know till I'm able to eat it. I even sent an email stating what happened and I didn't even get a response.Edit: Prime choice sent me a letter apologizing along with a gift card to make up for it. Greatly appreciated. The venison I've eaten so far is tasty. I will give them another shot!

The Northwoods is not short on old school butcher shops, but Prime Choice in Eagle River is our favorite. They cut steaks to order, less waste for them higher quality for us customers. They have a wide variety of fresh and frozen meats, specialty items, etc.

EXCELLENT selection. This is my kind of place. I was up visiting the area for work and was advised to stop here. I thought their prices were fair giving it's a local meat shop. They literally were without power but still let me grab what I wanted quickly. Super nice people. I'm not sure when I'll be back but I'll be sure to pass the word on!!

Prime Choice Meat Market has the best steaks and burgers I have ever eaten! Their Bacon is awesome as well, and if you have never tried the cranberry bratwurst or cranberry bacon burgers then you don't know what you are missing.
