If you are in the Durand area in Northwest Wisconsin you can count on a clean comfortable and quiet room. The guys working the desk are courteous and helpful. The wifi is a little slow but remember where your at and there breakfast options the four or five times I've stayed there isn't great with the last time this past weekend being one of the worst with kind of sad scrambled eggs with no meat choice as according to the desk man they didn't get any and some fruit choices and assorted small Danish. I won't let that stop me from staying here In the future as I disregard the breakfast thing and it's a very nice hotel but I have to let people know about this or it wouldn't be a fair review if you expect breakfast with your room you might be disappointed here.Rooms: Rooms are clean and comfortable.

The room was very clean and the bathroom was perfect.Just pass on the breakfast unless, unless limp water-soaked bacon is your thing.However the fresh pear was EXCELLENT.

The service at this hotel is horrible! We were the only people in the hotel and the person at the front desk wouldn't work with us and had a bad attitude. The rooms were not very clean- stickiness on the floor and the beds are very hard. We were going to stay for 2 weeks but will not stay here again.Obviously the Manager didn't understand my review! The front desk help was not helpful at all and had a horrible attitude. He should not be working in the service industry! I tried everything to stay at this hotel and nothing worked with him! We are now at a Holiday Inn and we are happy to give them our $ for the next 2 weeks.

Update to their response 7/18– clearly you did not understand what I had written. I said my other family members booked TWO rooms with your place and YOUR staff gave one of their room away to someone else! That’s why it’s ridiculous. It wasn’t the third parties fault, it was your staffs incompetence.And I really could care less if you looked at the room after the fact, but it wasn’t working when we stayed there…pushed the buttons on the remote and the tv and it would not turn on.I did notify your front desk employee prior to checking in on the phone that we wanted to pay cash, but clearly they don’t do a very good job on listening on that either.—————————————————————————When checking out this morning 7/17, a woman came to the front desk asking if I was ready for check out, I said “yes, but wait til my dad comes up”. She checked me out anyways and when my dad got to the front desk, we told her we wanted to pay cash and not use the card on file. She the put her head in her hands and leaned over the keyboard for a good 5secs before coming back up… (not a good way to act around customers) And then proceeded to tell me “I should have told her this before checking out”. Well, I did tell her to wait until my dad arrived, and she clearly did not listen..We had family members staying here as well, and she paid for TWO ROOMS. They gave one of her rooms away and STILL charged her for the two rooms. Absolutely ridiculous.Would not recommend this place to anyone.They had mediocre suites at the very most.. shouldn’t be close to $200 for one night.. and the rooms smelled like a wet dog when you walked in, and the tv in the living space didn’t even work.Only good thing about this place was the coffee in the morning.

4.9 Very nice place.. Clean Clean Clean... You have to remember it is A small town ... Room not very Big , but lay out is perfect.. Bed is very Nice but only one chair.. Front desk check-in went smooth .... Fab ... Updated this morning breakfast is very typical of most places.. The SOS was hot and very good.. The waffle lawmaker worked flawlessly.. Eggs scrambled and hot, juice, milk and ice water and a very nice coffee bar with toast and sweet rolls.. and real honey..

The customer service here is wonderful. They let my kid get yogurts even when it's not breakfast anymore. The rooms and very clean and big. We stayed in the extended stay room. It had a small kitchenette which had a stove, a sink, and a dishwasher. It also included some dishes already in the room. The water pressure here is really good also!! Are stay here has been so great. Would definitely recommend to stay to here!!

First time guest and I was very impressed. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I checked in late and the women at the front desk had baked cookies! I was pumped. Also, the room and amenities were great. Had a fridge and usb charging ports. Stuff that big hotels neglect to include. Breakfast was simple but also great. Had a Belgium waffle and sausage. I will be staying here next time I'm back!

This hotel was very clean. Staff was polite. Bed was comfortable. Had issues with bathroom, though. Tub was a little plugged and had hard time shutting off shower. Paint peeling above shower. Toilet dripped. Continental breakfast had a lot of choices but eggs were dry and sausage salty. I would stay here again because it was better than most hotels even with a few small issues.

My stay was very short but still the room and hotel were very clean and up to date. Staff were friendly and prompt with their service. Only complaint would be that the mini store on site was probably over priced - you can buy a frozen pizza which they will make and deliver to your room for $10, which seemed like just a couple dollars too many. Continental breakfast was good and the coffee was excellent. I've never heard of this chain before but I'd definitely seek it out again as the service was on par with other hotels for which you'd pay $30 more per night.

An outdated overpriced hotel that should not even qualify for the word Suites in their name. all of the rooms are beyond basic and equivalent to or worse than a quality inn. There are electrical issues and be prepared to climb stairs with all of your baggage. There is no elevator.... To top it all off is the unfriendly unhelpful rude staff. They make it apparent that they don't want you to bother them or even to be in their town. There is also a bug problem... All food for thought when considering staying at this establishment.

But it was the staff's welcome and going above and beyond that will make Cobblesone Inn & Suites of Durand WI my "go to" place always! Best place to lodge EVER!Ann from rm#111, Dec 11th.

The people who checked in before us, myself and one of the men who checked in after us could not get into our rooms with the key card. All had to go back downstairs to get the one person who was working there to let us in. He said something about the key taking 20 minutes to work??Ok so then we couldn't get the tv to turn on and had to get the front desk guy again. The light on my side of the bed did not work. On further inspection we figured out the plug itself was not working. The bed was extremely firm if you like that then it's a good thing I guess. The furniture was on the older side and had some rips/tears here and there. Breakfast was out of eggs by 8am so we settled for a bagel and stale muffin.On the plus side, while a little old and outdated it was clean, quiet and not over priced. Overtired and hungry coming back from a long day at Mayo it was not an awful place to lay your head down.

Clean rooms, quiet, hotel attendants were polite, Continental breakfast was small but had a few choices including biscuits & gravy, waffles and eggs. The safe in the room is an extra fee of $1.85 unless you ask ahead of time for the charge to be removed. Subway across the street with a gas station and about a half mile walk to the Chippewa Riverfront (short walking path) and monument. About a mile walk to a playground.

The stay was good and rooms clean. Its a three because getting a hold of the front desk took longer then it should have. There was noone there when we checked in or out in the morning. We also forgot something and when we called to verify it took 15 minutes for someone to answer then phone. When we arrived there was noone at the desk again and took 10 minutes for someone to finally come after I had to yell in the lobby hello?? Since noone answered the phone. There was also no breakfast items due to covid. (Not there fault, just stinks not even bars or prepackaged muffins or something)

The chain on the toilet was broken when we got in. I talked to Logan about this in the morning while checking out, and he said they had paperwork on it and were not sure when it could get fixed. I just didn’t want the next people to have to deal with it. The sad thing is that when we checked in, the attendant accidentally gave me two rooms. He took back one key and left me with the broken toilet room. Sad really!! Won’t be back there any time soon. No breakfast and prices high for no pool!!

Rooms are pretty basic, clean, and comfortable. Not much going on in Durand, which was surprising on a Saturday night with a large music festival going on 30 minutes away, but that's ok -- I don't expect small towns to be up all the time.
