I can’t say enough good things about Darwin and Vom Brewhaus! I got my puppy from him last year and he has been helpful every step of the way. I am a new Draht owner so it was a completely new experience. He took the time to tell me all about the testing and the breed to help me succeed with my puppy. He is very knowledgeable and you can tell he has been doing training and breeding for many years. I have also taken my Draht to him twice now for training. The first time was for intro to gun and birds back in the spring and he just finished whoa posting last week. At only 9 months old, my Draht is by far the smartest and fastest learning dog I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to get a puppy from Darwin or bringing their dog for training. You won’t regret it.

Darwin was great training our German Shorthair from early puppy obedience to later field training. He has been very reliable and helpful in training the hunter as well as the rest of my family, going as far as making sure we were all present on pickup day to ensure the entire family is on board with Briar’s progress. He continues to be readily available at anytime you could possible have questions. We are very impressed with Darwin’s professionalism and dedication to his clients, human and dog alike.

A+ Breeder that will more than likely become your close friend!With dogs of this caliber you will always be calling Darwin to brag up your 4 legged pal over a cold beer after the hunt.I have always been around hunting dogs and have owned quite a string of different breeds, however I will never own anything but a Drahthaar from here on out. Darwin takes the time to learn your dog's preferred learning method and uses tailored techniques to positively train your dog. Darwin did a great job getting our dog ready, and taking him through, his spring and fall ability tests. He has a passion not only for hunting and training, but the health and wellness of each dog he works with. Our dog Gus has really bloomed under Darwin's guidance.
