First visit but will not be my last visit. Very friendly desk staff n Jewels haircut is soo cute.I found something in my lil dog I thought maybe it was a tick but it was not black or red. I called them they had me take a picture and quickly let me know indeed a tick. Offered to remove it for me since I didn't have a tool or know how. This whole process was like 20_25 mins. They took my dogs health very seriously wonderful folks over there. Definitely some place you can feel confident that your pets a priority to them and they do indeed genuinely care!

Review for Dr. JohnWe recently visited Dodgeville Veterinary Services with our two incredibly nervous dogs and were fortunate enough to be seen by Dr. John. I must say, Dr. John is absolutely amazing. From the moment he walked into the room, his calm demeanor was evident. He didn't rush into examining our dogs; instead, he took the time to connect with them, understanding their anxiety. It's not often you meet a veterinarian who is not only skilled in their profession but also possesses a natural ability to put animals at ease. Our dogs, who are usually quite apprehensive at the vet, warmed up to him surprisingly quickly. By the end of the visit, it felt like both our dogs had made a new friend in Dr. John. We left the clinic feeling relieved and grateful for the care and attention provided. Highly recommend Dr. John for anyone with pets, especially those who are a bit more on the nervous side.

I am SO grateful for Dr Holter for taking excellent care of our precious baby and reassuring us that accidents do happen and we are good parents. How he calmly explained and his calming demeanor put us at such ease. I also can’t thank everyone for getting us in on a busy Monday morning. I have been coming to the clinic for over 20 years and would not want to go anywhere else thank you, thank you, thank you. I can’t find the words to express our gratitude for the love,care, and attention all of the vets who have taken care of our babies and us over the years.

I have been with Dodgeville Veterinary for many years, there are several employees and Veterinarians throughout the years and now that continue to be the glue that make this a highly successful caring dedicated place for our animals in these difficult years we have experienced, with increased work loads and decreased staff. Communication is good. My hope is that there will be after hour coverage for emergencies in the future as it is almost impossible to get into after hour emergency clinics. A family members dog was recently turned away from 3 of them because they were to busy and had to wait until the following day to be seen for stitches which resulted in an infection.

I had an emergency with my dog and despite being busy, they worked her in quickly. Everyone was very kind and really good with her. You can tell that at this office they genuinely care for the pets they see and their families.

I feel so fortunate to have found this clinic. The lobby and rooms are always clean, the entire staff is friendly, compassionate and personable, services are affordable and scheduling is very easy. Dr. Holter is very trustworthy, thorough and practical. They were able to get me in for an emergency exam when I called around 3:30pm on a Friday (didn’t have high hopes for that) and then take care of my cat immediately. They’ve also been great throughout my multiple trips, and phone calls (sorry!), for my new puppy. It really feels like every individual in this office enjoys what they do and want the best for their patients. Would absolutely recommend and will forever take my animals here!

Dr. Marcus takes such great care of my dog. She has regular chiropractor visits and is always excited to see him. Even when he's having a busy day, he takes the time to greet Harley with lots of pets and answer any questions I may have. I'm grateful we have such a great clinic in town.

We recently visited Dodgeville Vet with our dog, Arlo, who tends to get extremely anxious during vet visits. However, our experience this time was remarkably different and positive, thanks to Dr. John and his amazing vet tech. They both took extraordinary care and time to ensure Arlo felt comfortable and at ease. Their patience and understanding turned what could have been a stressful visit into a smooth and effortless experience. The level of care and attention they provided was truly exceptional. My Vet, Nicole, was amazing with my boy Odin. She answered all my questions, suggested getting some baseline blood work, for my now middle aged dog, and was an absolute joy to be around. Odins doing great btw, but needs to lose around 4 pounds. We cant wait for the summer to shed the extra winter weight!

As always the staff was amazing. We had to put our 14 year old girl down before the long weekend and they were really amazing about everything. They went above and beyond what we've ever had a vet do for us before. You can tell they really do care for the fur babies and their owners. The doctors are honest with you and just super compassionate and friendly. Would recommend this vet to anyone and everyone.

They did my labs for my dog for the Madison specialty clinic, and sent the results to Madison. It was way cheaper. When I had to put my dog down, over Laber Day Weekend, they were very Kind and friendly. They showed me my options of dog urine's and the colors and let me spend as much time with him, before I had to let him go. ( They did a few test that worked with the Madison specialty clinic, which was way cheaper than Madison.)

You all have always been so kind, understanding & helpful! When I couldn't afford to pay out right for Kelso's leg surgery in 2021, you made it as inexpensive as possible & allowed me to make payments. This time around you helped Kelso with his ear mites & sent home treatment for my other two cats. It was way cheaper than I thought it would be! Gypsy tore her knee ligament. The team at Dodgeville Veterinary Service were kind, warm and very professional. Dr. Holter explained all the options for Gypsy's recovery in great detail. The surgery team did an excellent job. Each step was explained giving us time to ask our questions. The instructions and medications for after care when returning home were very clear. Dr Holter called the next day to check on Gypsy. We are very pleased with Gypsy's care at the Dodgeville Veterinary Clinic.

My pup needed entropion sergury and after calling 10 vets they were willing to help. Their price was reasonable compared to others and they did a great job ! She feels so much better so thank you all at dodeville vet.
