The owners are super friendly and knowledgable. My favorite place to buy items & seed for the birds that visit my feeders. For those that mentioned in reviews, items are a bit pricey, I honestly can say, I feel the quality of the feed is top notch, the bird feeders last longer than buying elsewhere and the "daily saving" annual membership is definitely worth purchasing. You get great benefits this way, which pay you back for the annual fee very quickly, plus more. It's a great way to save money and support this small local business. I'm glad I discovered this store. We see such a variety of birds now and I feel we are feeding them better quality seed by at Wild Birds Unlimited. If your a bird lover, this is the place to visit!

Went today (12.21.23) to make a holiday purchase based on an email advertisement I received. The email advertised 30% off and as an added bonus, buy one get one free on holiday bird seed critters. When I arrived at the store, I was informed it is EITHER the 30% off, OR the buy one get one free, not both. I felt that because of the words "added bonus", this seemed to imply that both would apply. When I pointed that out, instead of stating something like "I totally see what you are saying, I agree, I am so sorry" or a million other things that could have (and should have) been said, instead the cashier (Amy A.) was dismissive and short with me, stating that she KNEW for a fact, it was one of the other. Again, I showed her the ad, and asked her to bring up at her next team meeting that the language in the email was misleading. To which she said, "we would go out of business if we gave everything away" (not "I'm really sorry, I will discuss with my manager for sure, I totally see what you're saying, and happy holidays"). I'm super disappointed with this response - not only have they lost added revenue (I would have bought a couple more if they would have honored), now due to this they have lost a customer for life. In my world, you honor your words, especially when it's in writing, because that's the RIGHT thing to do, and the RIGHT way to run a business. I would ask them to ponder that as they consider staying in business. This is disappointing to me, especially at Christmas time, and I will not shop there again. What a fantastic place for bird lovers! The owner and employees are the best.. very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I am so happy to support this great small business, that offers excellent service and a product that is far superior to the big box stores.

Stopped in to pick up a gift for my grandparents and the staff was nothing but helpful and kind, they went above and beyond. There are so many beautiful items to choose from. I definitely look forward to shopping here in the future

The new owner and staff are fantastic! I had visited this store last summer and found it to be scarce with merchandise. There just was something not quite right. NOW, things are totally different. Over the last couple months that I've shopped at Wild Birds, it's always been so pleasant, and the inventory is fabulous. The staff is always very helpful and knowledgeable, and the new owner Mary Key is fabulous as well. If you have a love of birds like I do, and you support small business owners, this is the place a Lake Country to get your bird food and supplies.

My husband and I stopped in here on Sunday. We just moved to the area and wanted to check them out for our bird seed needs. Both ladies were so nice and helpful. Gave ideas to get cardinals to my feeder. I bought what she suggested and low and behold, that evening we had a male cardinal fly in and both him and his wife (I like to believe they are my Mom and Dad) have been visiting. Thank you for your help!

I love the store, the people and everything in the store. I moved to the area about 1 1/2 years ago from the country where the neighbors always commented on the beautiful array of birds in my yard to a place here where I did not see a bird. Now thanks these the wonderful people I have many beautiful birds.....robins, finches, juncos, cardinals, woodpeckers, morning doves, hummingbirds, orioles and more. But they want only the food from these people. So thank you.

The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable!! I was asking all kinds of questions and they had answers for everything. Even when I poorly described some birds, she knew which ones they were. And it is a little pricey, but if you join their mailing list they have special offers. I would recommend them.
