We picked up a sourdough ($8) and cinnamon swirl loaf. ($10.5) They also give free whole slices of bread as samples. Made fresh and very tasty!Next time, we might try their whipped butter. I'd recommend getting some oil next door to pair with the bread.

Stopped in here by chance last week and I must say that I was impressed. Greeted by Elizabeth who is so friendly and welcoming. She was very helpful and ready to answer any questions we had. We got multiple items. The cinnamon swirl bread is amazing, every bite an explosion of flavor. The sourdough was some of the best I've ever had. This is a great establishment and I hope everyone visits.

The locations near us all close really early, so we were excited to find this location that was open and had the cookies we were looking for. They were super helpful and set them aside for us while we made the hour trip. Everyone was very friendly and their selection of baked good and breads were awesome. Thanks so much for the great experience.

2/8/24: As a follow-up a week later, a different coworker called me back and left me a voicemail trying to help out and right the wrong. I was super impressed and think this place deserves a second chance. It was probably just a bad day for someone.1/29/24: I tried calling to ask for help on a project for school and the girl said she would call me back later that day or the next day. She did not, so I called a day later and she forwarded me to her manager who said her boss wasn’t available so she wouldn’t be able to help me. I was trying to ask some questions about cake cutting and she refused even to stay on the line saying that she wasn’t interested in my cake designs. Clearly she had no idea what I was calling about and after I tried to say I was working on a school project, she again said that she didn’t want my cake designs, which I never mentioned or had an interest in. To sum up, a couple issues:1. She refused to help me and would not listen to what I was asking.2. She was too busy and focused on what she wanted to do. (This was all on the phone so I sincerely hope she would not do this to me in person.)

I wish we could give both the Delafield and Oconomowoc Great Harvest 10 stars... We worked with these locations to help with all of the baked goods, deserts, sweets and wedding cake for my wife and I at our wedding this past November... They were amazing to work with, super accommodating, they had amazing ideas and listened to everything we had asked for... What they did was beyond perfect and we would recommend both or either location hands down! They made every aspect of what we asked absolutely perfect and had it at the venue and ready to go without any stress on our end!Our guests LOVED everything they brought - we heard it over and over throughout the evening!Thank you guys so so so much!

I typically LOVE this place. I go a couple times a week. The baked goods, sandwiches, free samples and friendly staff are all so wonderful. You even get a coffee, bread or sandwich card to get signed to pave your way toward a free item. Plus Colectivo Coffee which is always the way to go! The atmosphere is inviting and it’s a nice spot to sip your coffee or enjoy a book.My only drawback is one of the staff members (older, wears bandanna usually) seemed annoyed with my order. I asked for oat milk in my frappe instead of the usual milk they use. He essentially rolled his eyes when I requested that replacement. He also didn’t add caramel and put in hazelnut instead. My frappe also came out not blended and tasted like sweet milk. There was not the 2 shots of espresso added like advertised. It was a disappointment to say the least and I felt like if I spoke up he would be even more annoyed, so I didn’t. Which is why I’m leaving this review so they can hopefully work on training with this drink. But it truthfully is a 5 star place 90% of the time!

Bagels and bread served warm right out of the oven. Excellent sandwiches. Always very friendly staff. My daughter worked there just after college and she was impressed with the quality of the ingredients they used.

Previously I had rated this shop with five stars. Though I'm not from the area, we visit Delafield every so often, and we almost always pay a visit to Great Harvest.Today I am changing my rating to one star because it seems the customer service/training of the employees is slipping in a big way.I arrived with my family, got everyone situated at a table, and then went up to order on my own. I ordered a latte for my husband, some scones for our family to share, and a smoothie for myself.The person taking my order seemed pretty aloof, as he had for the customer who had been ahead of me in line. No eye contact, no indication that he was focused on taking the order. He seemed to struggle to understand what I was ordering in regards to flavors/sizes/amounts. In itself, I didn't find this to be a big deal. We live in a big world with neurodiverse brains, so I tried to shrug it off. When I asked for the smoothie flavors, he told me they only had strawberry. A bit disappointing to not have flavors to choose from, but strawberry is nice, so I ordered a strawberry smoothie.Well, the order came out bit by bit. And finally this gentleman came out with a smoothie cup that was quite obviously only half full. He explained that they had run out of the smoothie mix (that was a bit sad in itself to learn there was no real fruit in the smoothie…more like a slushie), and they'd only had enough to fill the cup halfway. He said, "I hope that's okay." A bit shocked, I nodded and took the smoothie and looked to him to see if he would offer a refund or something else to make up for the fact that I was out half the cost of a smoothie. No, he looked at me awkwardly and scurried back to the kitchen.The "smoothie," I then realized, was not well blended and had huge chunks of ice that didn't even fit in the straw. And it didn't taste much like strawberries or even anything sweet. I would say maybe they had half the usual ice in the blender already before they realized that they only had enough of the mix to make a quarter of the smoothie. Or maybe they were trying to stretch the mix to make enough smoothie to pass.I was pretty perturbed, but I didn't want to spoil our rare day out together by wasting time arguing about getting my money back.But I felt I should leave a review now because the owner and potential customers ought to know that this is how things are being handled by at least one employee there. My hope is that the owners see this and perhaps work through some additional training to better equip their employees to handle negative situations with customers. And…I would say that based on what my husband later pointed out to me, it might be good to remind employees not to come to work under the influence of any drugs which cause severe distraction at work.

Food: The fresh bread and scones were delicious!I asked about biscuits and the cashier referred to the scones so that was confusing, BUT the ham, chive and cheese biscuit was sooooo good!Service: That being said, the cashier lady was off putting - somewhat sarcastic and a little rude and one of the ladies putting the loaves of bread on the rack wasn’t wearing gloves. However, because the bread and biscuits were so delicious I will give this place another try.Atmosphere: I’ve never been to this place, so maybe people are aware, but it really doesn’t offer much for seating, which gives me the vibe they want you to order and leave.

Excellent cinnamon roll. The right texture dough (well proved). High quality cinnamon spice balances the sugar. One roll could feed 4 people and every bite will taste just right.

Purchased 2 loaves, White and Cinn chip on 7/8/23 at the Oconomowoc farmer's market and they are the most stale loaves of bread I've ever purchased!!!! Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. Used the cinnamon choice to make french toast to try ti salvage it, but ot was not great. Tossed the loaf of white in the garbage, it was not salvagable. If I could give this a negative star I would.

Great homemade bread company with a good variety of flavors. They also offer soup and sandwiches, coffee and tea drinks. My favorites are the cinnamon chip and the apple bread. I also love using them to make French toast.

We were visiting family and stopped in as we started back to Texas. I had little interaction with the server, but the person I was with had to ask for her coffee to be remade because the server mis-heard. At that point, the server became a bit snippy with my companion and seemed very put out. She looked very young, and I have worked as wait-staff and understand the frustration of trying to please customers. But, the customer should never see the frustration.Again, my part of the transaction was fine, and the bread I bought and took home was excellent and we all enjoyed it. The sourdough was really very good.

I love coming to try different bread samples! The cinnamon bread is amazing. All of the food here is honestly great, and the employees are always incredibly friendly! The Nashotah Cobb sandwich is my favorite and I cannot recommend it enough. If you’re looking for coffee, this is also an excellent place for it. Their lattes never disappoint!

OMG! I walk in to get an Almond Poppyseed Scone for my sister. She loves them! I'm looking at the items available and a gentleman behind the counter hands me a nice slice of warm, just baked Asiago/Parmesan bread. I told him that I love Asiago bread! This did not disappoint. I bought my sister her scones and bought a loaf of the fresh baked Asiago/Parmesan loaf. Took it home and my husband and I ate the whole loaf in two days! 😁

Best place has amazing bread even better cinnamon rolls and excellent customer service. The people are always very friendly and nice, and are willing to work with you. I've reserved and paid for a product and due to an error on their part they sold it before I could pick it up. Gave me a equal value product for free. Right five stars this place is amazing.

Disorganized.I was explaining a sandwich that I have always purchased from Great Harvest, at several different locations including this one in the past and the lady at the register looked at me as if I was from out of space and said they've never had that.. so I look on the website and it is literally the second sandwich on the menu.My husband went to order the loaded baked potato soup and the lady stated it was not available and she had forgotten to take the sign down (fine). 5 minutes later, another person tried to order the same thing and she still had not taken the sign down.While waiting for our food for 30 plus minutes, the teenage boy in the back brought out a bag of food for a girl that just walked in and hadn't even been to the register to place an order or to "check in" for an online order.. if that's even a thing.

The owners response to my concern about the dirty chairs was not nice. He asked if I thought the bread/food was a one-star rating as well. Noconcern expressed about the very dirty chairs. That says a lot; a clean restaurant for customers apparently is not a priority.

Thank you Jimmy, and Joy! I'm new to the area, so finding local gem's is really important to me. 1. best breads - period! 2. Every time I've visited the store the experience has been excellent. The panini sandwiches are just awesome .. big winner with my family .. I always get one of the soups of the day, and fresh sourdough bread. Folks here are genuine, warm, and have extended themselves to welcome me and my family to the community. Excellent customer service - Love this place!
