Went in to buy a new blade for my 24" bow saw. Found 21" replacement blades and 30" replacement blades. Right next to the blades they had 21" and 24" bow saws. So had to buy a complete new saw. Why sell 24" saws but no replacement blades?

Ace beats every time with service. Often worth the higher prices to shop your neighborhood ACE. Just double check the return policy, you may not get full value 9f what you paid- probably a restocking fee of sorts. Not a pr9blem

Big enough to get everything you need, small enough to not take away your whole day. Great Staff. Fair prices. Nice garden center. I like to shop local, and they make it easy. They are always supporting local high school teams and organizations by allowing brat stands

I returned a defective solar light. No fault of my own. I had used a $20 coupon that I received in the mail. I got a different type of solar light instead. I was disappointed to find out that the coupon could not be transferred. Totally unfair.

I love the plants hereee! Theres a big variety and there all well taken care of. The staff is always the sweetest!! They are very helpful and show you around if you dont know where to find something and can help you find the right size!

I’ve been a hockey player my whole life. I can say that entering this store during the Covid era makes me feel like I’m hoping right onto the ice with all of their plexiglass. Great service by the way.

Apparently they will not cut a key blank that you bring in. Flat-out wouldn't do it unless I bought their blank. I special ordered one for my friend as a gift and can't cut it on my jig so I figured I would pay to have them cut it. No dice. "The Helpful Place" my hairy white butt.

I prefer Ace in DeForest over some of the bigger stores. It's always been a personalized experience. Staff have spent time assisting me in solving problems and recommending solutions for my projects. That is appreciated!

They have hardware that they sell by the piece. If I need 4 small bolts I can buy 4, instead of a box of 100. I really dislike big box stores, they have managed to put the local stores out of business.

The smoker/grilling section had me in ahhs. Unbelievable selection when it come to smoker supply stuff. So much traeger stuff that I've never even seen before. 10x better than the big stores. I hope this remains like this. Well done!

I go into this hardware store with every project, crazy or otherwise, and they always help me . I would not go anywhere else. There paint is awesome and they carry Craftsmen tools, and the list goes on and on.

Historically they have been quite helpful however, on my most recent visit I was insulted by one of the ladies and don't think I'll go back to this location. I may be female but that doesnt mean I can't do home projects without a man or other professional. I guarantee if i was a man with the same questions, I would not have been treated like I was. I came to Ace because you are the Local hardware store in my community and Ace Hardware stores in general have a good reputation for providing guidance to customers. Unfortunately, Im not sure its the case with this location and definately not with this older blond woman with glasses. She should stay on her register and not provide advice to customers unless she knows what shes talking about and can do so without getting hung up on if a man or woman should be doing such work. I think Management needs to have a discussion to inform her that the current generation doesn't rely on a man to do home projects even though her generation did.

You can bring your leashed well mannered dog with you inside the store. They even have a loaner leash you can borrow if you left yours at home.

I went there to get a shower head and the piece that goes into the wall that connects to the shower head. Well when I initially walked in I ask you know where the shower heads were and told me I'll 7. I went to all 7 and I found a shower head and I came looking for someone to help me to make sure it was the right size in the right piece and 3 people that were there seemed to know nothing and could help me with anything. I will never go back there again
