We take our schnauzer, Ernie and our wheaten terrier Farley to Janet at Meyers Animal House, and they love going there. Janet knows how to make a schnauzer look like a schnauzer and a wheaten to look like a wheaten. They must know how to treat them right because they’re happy to go in and of course they’re happy to go home. They even get report cards. They’ve all done very well and never had to go to the principals office:-)

Meyer's did a phenomenal job grooming my two golden retrievers. I've taken my dogs to various different groomers between Wisconsin, Michigan, and Illinois, and not only did they do the best job out of all of them, they were also the most reasonably priced!Meyer's was also incredibly flexible and understanding when I had life happen and was unable to take a trip (thus not boarding the dogs). They will forever be my choice for boarding and grooming and they should be yours as well!

The groomer does such a great job handling our difficult Springerdoodle. She is so kind and caring and even though our dog is less than cordial to her! I highly recommend!

Everyone here is very nice.I have 3 furbabies. And each time they go they come back beautiful and smelling fantastic.They do a fantastic job knowledgeable in the cuts that each type of dogs hair can do. and offer so many treatments.Their prices are very reasonable.Highly recommend services great with your animal family.

Myers is part of my family. Just ask my dogs. The owners and staff are fully engaged in providing a structured environment for funfilled daycare or boarding experiences. Taylored boarding packages allow clients to pick one to suit their pet. As a client, my dogs have boarded and attended daycare the past 8 years. All my dogs were rescues to include a special needs dog that they handled brilliantly; she adored them. All became more well rounded. Myers kept them safe, when I had projects at home where their well being would have been jeopardized. So yes, Meyers is a huge part of my family!

Wonderful facility that cares for our two dogs as if they were theirs. The options available such as twice daily dog walks separate kennels can add up very fast. For a week of overnight stay for two dogs with twice daily walks cost almost $1,000. The most important thing is that the dogs seemed happy when we picked them up and they looked healthy and well cared for. Ultimately that is all that matters.

Have been taking my dogs there for 10+ years. They really care and make it a special experience for your pup. Good pricing and availability compared to all the other boarding places in the area. Groomer does amazing work at amazing prices.

We love Meyer's! We've been taking our dogs there for several years, and the staff clearly care about every animal put in their care. The boarding service is great, with a lot of options, and the grooming service is excellent.

Grooming Department- We have a 100+ pound older rescue mastiff mix who is a giant baby. Willow looks crazy intimidating solely due to her sheer size, but is afraid of a stiff wind. Not only do they do an amazing job with her grooming needs, but they work with her through her apprehension, arthritis issues, massive amounts of shedding and they love her to bits. I would recommend Meyer's grooming department for anyone who has a dog that needs a little extra patience and tlc.

We've been taking our dog here for daycare for the past few months and he's totally in love with it! The team is really kind and thoughtful, and pays attention to the dogs. They also have great facilities with plenty of space indoor and outdoor. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants their dog to have a little more social time. Also the groomers have been great as an added service a few times a month. 10/10 for Meyers :)

Our two dogs go one day per week and they absolutely love it. In the morning, before we start to head out to go, they know what day it is and they get soooo excited.The Meyer's team cares for each dog in their building and it shows with the dogs' excitement every week.We highly recommend checking them out.7/5 ⭐

Our dogs met a skunk this weekend. Meyer's was able to fit them in & they did a phenomenal job. I won't take them anywhere else for grooming!! They smell great & coats are so soft. This was our first experience with their grooming services. We've boarded here before & have been extremely happy with the care received.

We go here for grooming, and boarding and love it! Everyone is friendly and our dogs are always loved. Services are not as expensive either, but we get just as good or better care than some other places downtown.

Our dog loves going to daycare here. He typically goes twice a week. I think the rates are very reasonable, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and it's great that we can get him groomed there as well.

Please do not send your dog here! We picked up our dog today after being rudely scolded by the staff (because we accidentally used the wrong entrance) only to find out they had not been feeding her for an entire weekend. We should've trusted our many friends who warned us about the same issue happening. They don't feed your dogs and really just don't care about their health.After picking her up, we realized how tight her collar was. Working in animal husbandry, I know you should be able to fit 4 fingers in a dog's collar and we couldn't even fit 1.After getting home, our dog has urinated in the house twice and won't take treats or bones from us.Friends and family have warned us about this place and have similar experiences. Feel free to try it for yourselves but I encourage you to please find somewhere else. This place doesn't care about your dog. They just want your money. I have many suggestions for other places in the area if you want! Just please don't go here if you love your dog.

Beautiful facility, extremely polite and professional staff, and a pleasure for my dogs! Meyer's did a fantastic job with grooming my two Goldendoodles! Both dogs had a great time there, and came home happy and tired. You can tell they really care. I look forward to boarding and daycare with Meyer's!

We have had our dogs stay here over the weekend and get treated just as good as if they were home and get their nails filed here. The dogs love Meyers and always get excited when close. Will never take the pups anywhere else because I know they are well taken care of here!

We brought Luna here for the weekend as first-time customers. While we are also not super impressed with the details of her stay, the reason I am rating so low is because of how rude the staff was when I picked Luna up. I was not the one to drop her off so I did not know the pick up tome was 4-6 and I arrived at 3:30. The building was unlocked and the lights were on so I went in and was greeted by a staff member who was incredibly rude from the first sentence she said. She was upset that I was early and questioned who I was, how I got in, and who I was picking up. I explained and offered to come back at 4 pm multiple times but they did end up bringing her out. As a first time, and last time, customer I am VERY disappointed in this experience and will not be recommending Meyer’s to any dog owners.

Meyer's does a GREAT job. My dog has some anxiety issues when boarding at most places...refusing to eat, destroying her bed, rubbing her nose on things till it's raw...and she has never had an issue at Meyer's - she is always in good spirits coming and going. The extra services you can add on to the boarding package (like long walks on their large property, or playing fetch every day) really sets them apart from other boarding facilities as well. My dog's happy, I'm happy.

My parents and I have boarded our dogs here several times, and have had countless grooming appointments. They treat our dogs like part of their own family. I can’t recommend this business enough. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful (especially Janet, she is wonderful).

I have a friend that worked there for 2 days and she cried after the first day working there. The back area where the dogs are kept reeked like urine. There was a lot of pee-soaked blankets because they don’t let the dogs out enough she said. They stay in crates, not separate areas, but customers don’t get to see that part, so they don’t know. Customers also pay extra for more play time and it doesn’t happen because of staffing, but they don’t tell them that, they just let them pay extra for nothing. This place should be shut down! If there was a 0 star option o would pick that one!

I was very Disappointed in my dogs groom. I spent $80 dollars on a bath...I asked for a bath, blow dry, brush, and trim up of ears, tail, butt fluff, and paw pads. I have a big dog so I knew it would cost me a lot for these things to be done and I was willing to pay the price but the services I asked for weren’t done. She came home to be brushed for an hour filling my yard with hair, she still had nots behind her ears, and her grinch feet were still grinch feet, tail and butt fluff were also untouched. The staff was very nice and told me how sweet my girl was for her groom and She seemed happy when she came out but I was not happy with the way she turned out. They get the 2 stars for nice staff, and for my dog smelling good and her fur was bright white I just wish it would’ve been more.
