It was the first time Paul stayed at Green Acres and when I dropped him off, Kade at the front desk gave me great information calming at nerves I had for him being new. I emailed to check in how he was and they responded very shortly after. Upon pick up, the employee who brought him up front said he greeted her everyday with a wagging tail and was super friendly and happy - she told us he has to come back. Very happy with Green Acres, Paul will definitely stay with them again when we need it! Currently all tuckered out at home.

We boarded our bullmastiff Ruga at Green Acres for a week while we were on vacation. I can't say enough good things about this place!Ruga is mostly blind, has daily medications, and reluctantly needs eyedrops three times a day. She's also on a special diet. She had symptoms of a UTI during her stay and the staff were kind enough to drive her to our regular vet on the west side of Madison. As you can see, even though she wasn't feeling well, I think she had a lot of fun during her stay.The way they honor CVTs is so wonderful. It feels very good for the important work my husband does to be recognized.Thank you, thank you, thank you for a great experience! We have never boarded a pet before and we were so nervous.

I needed a backup in a pinch. They don't have info on the website needed to make quick but rational decisions. They like many other facilities charge for interactions with other pets. They also do not do their intake onsite for new clients? You have to be referred to a different time zone for that part, Will update if experience improves. Staff on phone was super friendly, and as helpful as she could be. Especially since it sounded like she was answering the phone and doing pick up by herself. 4 stars just for her, 1.5 for the facility because not enough info available and outsourcing intake...

Our dog just boarded here for the first time and we had a wonderful experience! The facility is clean, the staff are fantastic, warm, and friendly, and the service they provide is incredible. I would recommend Green Acres to everyone. Our dog is getting to be an older guy and is anxious, and this is the first time he has come back from a boarding experience and seemed relaxed and rested! We are so happy we found Green Acres Pet Resort!

I am always so nervous sending my dogs somewhere new but got great recommendations from friends about Green Acres. The day I was checking in I called to confirm if there was a change in medication did I need to fill out the form ahead of time and was told that was not necessary we could at check in. I disclosed one of my dogs would need to wear his cone for a few more days while a hot spot finished healing (I know of a friend who’s dog has boarded here with a cone previously). I understand not allowing this in a daycare setting, but he was planning to be a solo guest anyways. I was told they don’t typically do that and would check with a manager and call back. As someone who was general manager of a dog boarding facility for years this has been done many times, and being veterinarian owned I definitely wouldn’t have thought this would have been an issue. Shortly after I was called back from an employee and told he couldn’t board with the cone. So the day I’m leaving for a week long vacation I’m scrambling to find alternate arrangements. This was not only extremely stressful but also caused me to have to push back my trip. All of the staff I talked to were extremely kind and helpful when booking originally and chatting with them, hence the 2 stars instead of 1, but I definitely won’t be counting on here for future arrangements.

Green Acres provides immaculate care to their residents. My dog had so much fun at the resort playing with other dogs, he was actually sad when he realized he was leaving! My other dog is usually a very anxious, but he was comfortable at Green Acres and they even allowed my dogs to be housed together which helped a lot. I will be bring my dogs back! I love this place and most important- my dogs do too.

We took our very small 14 week old puppy to the puppy social hour. The staff exceeded our expectations. Very receptive and caring for "New Parent Concerns". We would return to Green Acres for additional services.

We left our sweet Cavaliers at Green Acres over Thanksgiving. Overall everything was great, I think, but we never got the report card we were promised. I even asked when we picked them up if I could get the report card and I never got it. I will definitely go back because the service and communication before arrival was excellent. I will just keep asking for that report card.

A great place to have your dog stay. Unfortunately, their prices are not listed on the website (or not easy to find), nor laid out in the lobby and thus I received a bit of a sticker shock when I picked my dog up from boarding. I would have made different choices regarding the details of his stay if I would have had a better idea of the cost.

The staff at Green Acres are amazing! Everyone that my 5 yr old cattle dog and I have interacted with has been patient and positive. Each morning when I tell my pup he is going to Green Acres his little tail wags like crazy!When I expressed a concern about a behavior issue that my pup struggles with Lauren and Jolene came up with a plan to help us work through it. The service here absolutely exceeds expectations. Thank you so much!!

My boy Oliver is scared to separate out. The staff is very patient, understanding, and super helpful and friendly. Their groomer does an outstanding job. One of the best I’ve ever experienced.

Wonderful people and a wonderful place! I was nervous about boarding our cat since we have a last minute reservation but the staff not only was very helpful but incredibly kind - the people I spoke to both in person and over the phone sounded genuinely excited to be taking care of people’s pets. Not only did they do a great job, they even send you a report card on how your furry friend is doing! Thank you for taking care of Leo for us!!

I left my dog in their care for about 9 days. It was my first experience with this kennel. My dog is terrified of slip collars after two horrendous experiences at other kennels, and I asked for special handling of my dog. I feel it was honored and that they strived to follow my requests as carefully as they could. My dog looked calm and well upon pick up. I feel their rates are extremely high, but the kennel size is very large compared to other kennels and the staff seems extremely communicative. I will use them again.

My 1 1/2 year old lab has never-ending energy and loves playing with other dogs so going to daycare is a perfect way for him to spend the day while I'm at work. I loved the midday email and photos the staff sent on his first day, especially the one where he has the biggest doggy smile I've ever seen! The staff was super sweet and helpful, even when I came to pick him up and he dragged the poor gal across the room to get to his mom. I will definitely be bringing my pup back to Green Acres to play often!

We adopted an energetic, hyperactive adolescent dog four months ago. He was destroying our house, furniture, and all our worldly possessions each day while we were at work, and he was annoying our other dogs. Daycare and boarding at Green Acres has been a godsend. His report card on his first day said he played with a Malinois, and he came home wiped out! My husband said, "I don't think I've seen him tired before." This first week of daycare, he has gone from terror to perfect pet. I was afraid I'd be THAT Groupon lady with the crazy dog, but the staff were all incredibly nice and helpful and gave me lots of feedback on how he was doing (great!). The facility is pleasant and always appears to be well-staffed, and my pup seems happy to go there in the morning. I appreciate the quick check in and ease of making reservations, and most of all, all the exercise my dog gets during the day instead of destroying our couches. Thanks, Green Acres, for improving my puppy's mental health and saving the rest of our stuff.

I feel like our dogs are not themselves since being boarded, they have food insecurities they never did before, scarfing their food too fast to the point of puking, I don't know how much or little they ate because any food left over they keep, you don't even get your labeled bags of food back. I hope they learn to get past this, it's been a week of it. For the extremely high cost I expected a more personal care and love to our girls, I'm so disappointed our usual boarder was on vacation when we needed boarding. Having to pay extra per dog for them to get one on one interaction with a staff member is ridiculous. If I hadn't shelled out the crazy cost they would have spent a week in solitude other than potty breaks. I will be so glad to get our girls back to their usual boarder, triple f boarding, they are incredible

I’ve heard such great things about Aunt B’s and was excited to bring my dog here. Sadly it’s not the same great place. I was less than impressed with the service and facility. The “suites” were basically a shelter. No toys, or personal items for the the dogs because they may chew and choke on the items even though you can pay extra for a bed for your dog, but they won’t let you bringing anything for them to sleep on yourself because they apparently won’t also chew and choke on the bed you pay extra for which is insane to me! I’ve never had any of my dogs be boarded at a place and they weren’t allowed to have any toys or personal items from home to feel comfortable. I would not recommend and will never be back. Go to Camp Canine!! They’re amazing!

I know Miley loves going to daycare. She’s always excited when she gets there and she’s pretty tuckered out when she gets home. It was really nice to receive a message from Lauren a few weeks ago to let me know how much she loves having a Miley at dog daycare! Today they celebrated Miley’s birthday and sent us some pictures and videos with the report card. It was awesome to receive this! It’s nice to know she’s getting good care, and is meeting and playing with new friends!

Choose Green Acres based on a recommendation from a friend who used their services when it was Aunt Be's. The facility looked beautiful when I drove up. The receptionist very friendly. Was very disappointed that they removed everything. Her collar her harness her leash. No personal items ie: toys.....blankets..... bed "for safety". Was told they would give her a Pad to sleep on and a Kong for a toy. They sent a few photos of her playing alone on pea gravel. After a few hours felt very uncomfortable and had a friend pick her up. She was a small puppy and knew without anything to make her feel comfortable and secure would have a very difficult night. The Suite they had for her was nothing more than an empty kennel. Am sorry to say but would not recommend Green Acres at this time unless they change some of their policies.

Had a pretty decent experience with staff prior to my dogs visit. Really appreciated them getting my dog in on short notice. They gave cute photo updates and nice notes about my dog throughout his stay, but when I picked him up after a few weeks being there, he was visibly quite thin and there were 6days/12meals left over in the bag I left with him. I made sure to have the exact amount of meals ready for them, there should not have been any left over. I am extremely disheartened in the care my dog was given there. Unfortunately will not be recommending them to other dog owners.

I have been using Green Acres Pet Resort for about 2 years and can definitely say that they are amazing with our pups! Our dogs get so excited when we tell them they are off to puppy camp. The staff recognize our two dogs every time we drop them off which makes me feel even more comfortable. I will always recommend Green Acres to friends in the area.

Set in a clean, peaceful environment with friendly staff. This was out dogs first stay with Green Acres. I really appreciate the report cards and personal notes they give you from your pets stay. I would highly recommend this resort. I felt comfortable knowing she was in good hands.

Green Acres was/is an amazing place to leave your pup. From the instant I called to enroll my dog, I felt comfortable leaving him with the workers here. They send many photos and updates on how your pet is doing. Everyone was super friendly as well. The grooming service was also excellent. Cannot recommend them enough!!
