Chuck in Sales at Camping World Madison was so great to work with. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating….all around helpful. He showed us exactly what we were interested in seeing and also the comparable that we were not aware of so we could weight our pros and cons. He got us into our ideal size camper that fit our family’s need and budget and gave us an incredible deal on our unit that would not have been matched anywhere else. He was also so kind to follow up with us a few times after our purchase was complete to check in!Shawn the technician that handled the orientation with us and showed us the in’s and outs of our new camper was fabulous to deal with as well! He had great energy and was extremely helpful with all our questions and educated us on everything that we did not know – so many great tips and tricks he shared with us and also went out of his way to help us with questions we had on items in the store as well!Highly recommend that you request Chuck and Shawn at Camping World Madison if your able to. All around very accommodating and it was a fun deal to experience!

My self and my boyfriend found ourselves at this store one day and noticed a Class A out front. We met a salesman named Bob that helped us and went out of his way to facilitate the sale of our truck as well. Bob was easy to work with and we appreciated his efforts. Unfortunately we did buy a different Class A from another Camping World but we loved the employees we met at this store. Mary the receptionist is a hoot! If you need a camper visit this store and meet the staff. New management as well and they are all knowledgeable and friendly.

This is one of the greatest experiences we have ever had, it started with the staff greeting us when we came in and continued with every person we talked with! Cooper, our sales guy, listened carefully to what our needs were and went right to the trailer that met our needs, then gave us a deal of a lifetime. We thought that was perfect enough, then we met the finance team, wow, what a fantastic experience there working with Calvin. They gave us a very fair trade in on our old travel trailer without negations going back and forth. Can’t say enough how much we hate that normal experience with other dealerships. We never feel like we are getting a fair price, but not here. They were very patient with us as we were moving money around to pay for the trailer, never once did we feel pressured that we needed to move faster. We had a walk through with Brian, we felt like we were talking with a friend, he answered every question, never looking at a clock and said to call anytime if we had more questions. We felt like family! Lastly, we met with Kurt who took us through the different options we had for making each of our camping events easy and making sure we maintained our new trailer to the best we can. Again, never feeling pressured to purchase anything, but answering questions and giving us his real thoughts and not the sales guy approach that he needed to make a quota. I could go on and on about the purchase, but all I can say is go see for yourself what a fantastic experience this is. Take the trip to Camping World and find out what a true purchasing experience feels like. Wish I could feel this kind of customer service and purchasing experience everywhere we go. I stopped by the Deforest Wisconsin location on my way to transmit the FIS World Cup cross country skiing championship in Minneapolis, with an issue involving 2 of my 4 kick-down jacks (due to corrosion) no longer retracting. Being on a timeline to get to the event and not pulled over for a DOT violation, I consulted with the counter staff for a possible expedited temporary fix to get me on my way, no sooner had I asked, Jim Callaghan(Operations Director) and Fermin Gonzales (Shop Supervisor)were crawling under the Satellite Truck to assess the best course of action, by the time I got back from the restroom they had secured both jacks with a ratchet strap and I was good to go, when I asked them to charge the service and materials to our company corporate account they politely refused. The whole interaction at this location took less than 20 mins but the kindness and assistance I received was truly appreciated. Continued success to you both and the entire Camping World Deforest, WI family. - Steve

Worst dealership service experience I’ve ever had. Had our 2023 Thor Hurricane for three weeks and a technician hasn’t touched it. I’ve checked-in repeatedly and have been told, “we’ll see if we can reassign it to a new tech” and “I’ll have to talk to the Operations Manager and I’ll call you back.” No one calls back after five plus hours and the phone system just disconnects when you call the service department. We’ve met Marcus Lemonis. Nice guy, poor performance standards at this store.

Salesman BOB, Garage Ben, and Shane the Man were awesome!! Bob made sure we got the right camper for US and was by our side with us every step...right down to the moment we drove off...way past closing time. Finance people were great! Ben and Shane worked to make sure we knew our way around our new-to-us toy, made sure our hitch was right for the job and connected correctly-taking into account our worries about driving and getting it home--by the way, all went great, guys! This was the perfect DREAM TEAM!! They know what they are doing, they do it well, and they do it happily.

Justin in the service department is AMAZING! He has been so helpful and a great customer advocate! I wasn't very happy with Camping World after purchasing my camper from them and had poor customer service from the sales department and general front desk. But Justin made up for their lacking customer service 110%!! I highly recommend working with Justin if you need to schedule any work to be done on your camper/RV!

Amazing place to go. From campers to out door items, you name it they got it.i have only one bad thing to say was I went there to get my son a mini bike and to look at some campers because come this fall we are look to get one of those as well. The box the gave me was damaged for what I can see didn't and prayed the bike wasn't damaged. Well it works just fine as you see in the picture. My little boy has never been so happy😊 .the frame has damage in sever spots and the back fender has some as well. I just hope it doesn't start rusting even though I keep it in the garage when not riding.

I highly recommend working with this business. My husband and I have talked about buying a camper for years as we love the outdoors and traveling. We wanted something family friendly as we have 2 little kids. We worked with Joel who was absolutely phenomenal. Very knowledgeable and helpful. He didnt share any false information as if he didn't know the answer to a question he would look it up for us. We told them the price range we wanted to be in and they took time to find financing to meet our needs and stay in budget. Joel was phenomenal at showing campers in our price range. We had one in particular we were interested in and he did not try to over sell us. He helped us get insurance quotes, introduced us to their team, they are incredibly patient despite our 3 year old running around. Their prices are amazing and very affordable as we did a lot of research of similar campers at different facilities. We very much so enjoyed our experience with the team at Gander. They are beyond friendly and helpful. We cannot wait for summer time to utilize our new Camper. Thank you to Gander and especially Joel, you are very appreciated!!

Overall, our experience was quite poor. Aside from a couple of good employees, the experience of purchasing our camper was awful. The salesperson Curtis was easy to work with and showed us plenty of good options. After we made our decision, in negotiations, we were told they would fix an issue with the outdoor kitchen flooring. Then told that there is a flat fee tacked onto the total purchase price for the shop. This flat fee included detailing, and inspection so it's "ready to go". A week went by, and we came back to pick up our camper. The work that was supposed to be included on the outdoor kitchen was not completed. Let alone, it appeared that not a whole lot was done. The heater didn't work on our final walk through. Then the awning covers were weeks out. Not sure why we waited a week for them to do nothing with the camper... A month later we had to take the camper back to have them fix the heater and get the awning covers on. A month went by and the propane regulator had to be replaced...by my husband nonetheless, because he essentially refuses to go back there.

Very nice store! I was impressed by the amount of items in store but, since moving numerous rv's inside a lot of the inventory seems missing. "Most" all rv'ing and camping items in stocks. Also a large variety of hunting & an enormous amount of fishing supplies. Huge variety of guns, ammo and archery items. Last but not least are the beautiful rv's! I wouldn't mind taking any one of these home. Overall a nice shopping experience!

Cooper was a great salesman. He showed us the campers we asked about. He helped us find the motor home we bought. Calvin worked a good deal for us with payments we were comfortable with. Calvin even talked to me on his day off. Wasn't happy with the initial presentation by the finance person but things worked out in the end.

Dragging my parents through the dirt on their camper purchase. The first camper was too big, and they traded it back in for a smaller one. They are now being charged $17,000 in interest from the first one on top of payments on the cheaper second one. Lawyers will be contacted soon because no one is helping at camping world. They also have 97 pages of complaints with the BBB.

First time being in the store & actually really enjoyed it! 🙂 It was a VERY pleasant trip w/ lots surprises!!! 🎁 The store is CURRENTLY doing CLEARANCE SALES - the entire store is doing marked down with "killer prices" 😨 Pretty awesome & you could actually find a quite bit really useful & great items for really fantastic prices!!!!! 👍🏻💸😼💖😈 I never see myself as ever getting anything from the country store HOWEVER I did in fact found a really good quality protection grip gloves for less than $15 (which normally cost $40 ish) & a freezable lunch bag with rolling wheel for about $15 also (more than 50% off) while walking around the store with my girlfriends! 😺🙆🏻🤓😻😎It's like TREASURE hunting!!! 🛍😹🎈🎁😈💖Awesome deal w/ LOTS SAVINGS y'all!!! 🎉🎉🎉Act quick & go check it out!!!
