This is a larger local family type store that seems to have everything. Great liquor department, bakery, produce, everything you need. Checkout was a bit slow. Seems like they want you to do if yourself and I don't I don't work for them. I expect them to work for me. They only had one checkout with full service running. Today they had 5 check outs running.6/20/22 update.... Going up to 5 stars today... Love this store. Still the best!

I’m extremely frustrated with shopping at the De Pere location. Every time I shop I noticed the dates in the dairy department are always very close to expiring or have already. There have been so many times I’ve come home with yogurt or sour cream that is already past due and have to throw it away. The baggers that I’ve dealt with continuously put the items in the bags as if it was all tossed in there. Nothings separate anymore (meat or frozen from boxed items) or handled with care like it was in the past. I ask for paper bags every time I shop and I always end up getting plastic and one or two paper with some excuse as to why. Today I waited in line for quite sometime during check out and noticed they had only one bagger for 5pm. I try to be patient and understanding especially with customer service workers but I just don’t get it. I’ve always felt Festival did a good job training their staff and aimed to hire friendly people in the past but I don’t feel it’s like that anymore. Despite Festival overcharging for everything, it used to be my favorite place to grocery shop because of the quality products and friendly staff they had. I just don’t feel Festival still holds those same values. I’m extremely disappointed.

I came in at the last second to order a cake for the same day and I was able to get one. I appreciate it so so much. Everyone is always so nice! Thank you to everyone in the bakery department!!

Everyone was very helpful and friendly at the Festival Foods I worked for 4 years, so obviously the cashiers and cart runners were trained for their positions! Keep up the good work!

This is my go to place when I vacation up north.I shop there Deli forlarge selections of fresh pasta salads. Containers of hot beef, fresh lunch meat. My Quick make meal plans.There display case look like e picture. Also Meat display, and huge sea food display.Also need to let you know they have already meals made up to sell. I can go on and on to each department! But please see 👀 for your self :)

Visiting from out of town and shocked at prices. Grossly overpriced m- I would say 25 percent higher than nearby stores. I wondered why nobody was in there and I guess know why now.

Quality product. Prices are a little higher compared to Walmart, but they definitely make it up with fresh and quality meat and produce. Good selection of see food. Store often have 10% off all items fish and meat

Food selection is good but they do not have adequate staff. This forces customers to use self checkout. That would be fine if it worked properly!!! The scanning & putting items in bag is the worst of any store I’ve seen. It fails constantly and I needed assistance 5 times to finish. Finally I had to take half of my items to another self checkout to get out in a reasonable time because nobody was available to come to self checkouts to get the system going again.If there are not adequate cashiers working I’ll be walking out of this store in the future.

I love the Festivals I've visited~ I was a regular at the Oshkosh one which was wonderful. The DePere store is very nice too~ I made this dish with their scallops, good wine selection too

I just had to throw out food that should have lasted almost a month that I bought last Thursday because the expiration date was yesterday. This has been a recurring pattern at this location as it's quality has dropped drastically in the last few years.I have been shopping at this Festival at least once a week for the last 8 years and I will be stopping soon if quality does not improve dramatically. Items that other grocery stores keep good stock of are left with empty shelves for weeks. The liquid flavoring I get has not been restocked for months!Almost everything that has a shelf life is sold at nearly the end of the expiration date. It's a coin flip on whether or not the spring mix they are selling I buy on a Thursday will last the weekend. I like the cookies, but I can't eat an entire dozen in one day like how they sell it. Even if it's within the expiration date, I've gotten food poisoning from their bagged lettuce twice this year.It's a shame as this location is on my way home from work and is very convenient, but the reduced quality and low stock is making me frustrated and I will recommend going to other stores unless the store improves.

Update 4/24: ran there to get some juices my wife likes. They charge $4.99 for the cold pressed juice. Pick n Save charges $4.49. It is also mind boggling to me that you can get a half gallon of milk cheaper at Kwik Trip than you can at Festival. Price gouging at its finest.Update: 11/2022My wife asked me if I checked the expiration date on her cottage cheese when I put it in her lunch. I guess I didn't. I bought it a few days ago. Wouldn't you believe it had expired over 2 weeks ago. I went there today and would you believe they were selling the same cottage cheese that was expired for over 2 weeks. That's throwing time and money away! When I told two people that I bought product that was expired and we had to throw it away they were kind enough to say "sorry". And I am very curious why they lay their sliced deli meats out like that to dry out.update: I went there last week (1st week in April 2022) to grab some items including lunch meat. They had bags of sliced lunchmeat ready for the taking. I grabbed three bags (hard salami, Cajun turkey, and sundried tomato turkey). To my surprise when I got home and started unpacking one of my bags of lunchmeat sated best used by tomorrow's date. The other two bags' best used by date was 4 days from when I purchased them. To me, that isn't a very decent.They have a good selection, but have you seen the prices they charge for things? Look at this rotisserie chicken that is smaller than my hand. It is $7.99. Costco sells a rotisserie chicken that is at least 50% larger for $5.99.

I use to work a festival for years I need had so a bad shopping experience. I understand it was crowded. My food card wasn't working and the 3 in wine in spirits cashiers I work with refuse to send my to the service desk. Even I do this my customers will I was working. The and top my lunchable I bought yesterday had moldy cheese and was way pass the expiration date. Would not go back to this location. I work there last year I didn't recognize anyone who work there now.

They have a great variety of fruits, vegetables and meats The store is always clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Some prices are a bit high but that's just about everywhere now.

The DePere, WI branch has a wonderful health section. They had moved the liquor store section into a separate building, and utilized that space for a much better shopping experience for me and others. I was searching for a brand of toothpaste they had carried which contained 'charconite' which is a combination of charcoal and bentonite clay...I asked a young lady working there if the store had discontinued this brand? She helped me look for an alternative brand, because there could have been an issue with one of their distribution companies. Not only that, she also offered this option at $0 cost for trying it by adhering a special sticker with her code to the package. Making for a terrific experience!

6/14/2023Festival Foods located in DePere, WI has a VERY large selection of gluten-free, vegan, etc. at this location. It's like a store within a store! I was VERY impressed! I do have to say I haven't been inside this particular location in years! I talked to an employee who told me this has been like this for over 4 yrs. They made the old bank and liquor areas into the specialty Foods areas. Did I say I was impressed? 😀 I'm going to shop at the DePere Festival from now on. 👍🏻😄

It's a grocery store, relatively clean and decent deals can be found if you look for them. They carry some local goods and even label them at times which is nice.

Great service. Really good meat and produce. Reasonable prices (don't forget to scan the ad). Many lanes open on busy days. The Gas Rewards card REALLY works well.

This is one of the three stores that I shop for groceries. This is the upscale one, where you can get higher cost items like better steaks. Hugh variety of items made in store. Prices for regular items are often higher but many regular items are on sale at very good prices. In store bakery.
