De Pere Hardware store usually has the things I need to keep up my house. I love having personal assistance and not having to drive over to one of the big stores. Besides, the prices are comparable when you factor in the convenience and time saved.

Selection is horrible. Had to go to a different store on two occasions after they didn't have what I needed for plumbing a water heater. And the guy there told me I could go from galvanized to brass to galvanized to copper. I asked him about reactions/ corrosion between the different metals. He said plumbing wasn't his strong suit but that is ok if it corrodes a little because water heater only last 10-12 years!

We are used to Ace Hardware. They greet you and guide you to the area with our items. We had to find an employee here to locate everything. Not friendly.

This place is great. The people are always helpful. It’s a good in and out. Store might be a little bit more expensive, but it’s worth every penny when you’ve got a hometown feel.!

Great experience here! I recently purchased a piece of equipment from them and I live in Illinois so it was a good 4 hour drive for me. However, since the price was good and the customer interaction was great, I decided to go ahead with it. When I arrived all of the staff was super friendly and got me situated right away. When I was going back to load the truck, I realized my front tire was loosing air. The staff quickly brought an air compressor out and we noticed it was just a lose tire valve stem. Thankfully, they helped me out, tighten the stem up and filled the tire back and it was good to go. Not only did they make the whole process easy and effortless, but they went above and beyond and helped me out! I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for equipment or any other items! Great experience.

I had been going to the True Value in Menomonee Falls, WI for 25+ years prior to my move to Green Bay in 2019. I have ALWAYS been pleased and impressed with the staff and selection of items in my "old" True Value, so checked out this one shortly after my move.This one is the same: same very knowledgeable, hard working, and friendly staff and great selection of items.I will always support these small locally owned hardware stores over the big box stores. Most of the kids that work at the big box stores seem to not care. They never seem to have what I need, even though their amount of stock is so much larger.True Value always has what I need. If it's not exactly the same as what I need, the staff and I work out to substitute items and those almost always work out.Plus, I like the smaller size of True Value. They remind me of an old fashioned toy store. Well, they still are to me! Sometimes, if I'm in the area, I stop in just for the heck of it and browse around.I will always support my local True Value!

This is a nice neighborhood hardware store. They have a nice selection of items including tool and lawn care rentals. If you run out of anything during a project, they should definitely be able to help you out.

Great store and I have always encountered friendly and knowledgeable workers here. I've purchased things from hand tools, a Weber grill, had keys cut, and picked up various little odds and ends and I have always been very happy with them. Will support this location whenever I can. I have not used their rental service but from the looks of things they have quite a selection.

Very friendly staff and they make you feel like family. Don't be afraid to ask questions; they are knowledgeable.Only downfall is some prices are a bit higher than bigger stores. But it's still worth the few extra dollars to come to this location.

I stopped in today because my motor died in my drivers side window and I was about an hour and a half from home knowing I needed a socket or wrench I bought a screwdriver cant have too many of those and they let me borrow a socket wrench the ladies were so sweet to my daughter and myself
