When we walked in and were standing at the counter one attendant walked 1 way 1 walked the other way and the other one was on the cash register with no customer. No acknowledgement. Need to work on a little customer service. This is not an isolated case. It has happened before. Found everything we needed ourselves. They have a lot of everything there. Nice store. I like to shop local.

I just finished working with Cumberland Ace on a recent remodel. This place is so much more then a hardware store. They helped through the whole build process. From working with the architect to ordering all millwork, build materials and windows. Their team worked hand in hand with my builders on deliveries. Great pricing and service all around.

Best small town hardware store I've ever been too, and I've been all over the country. Have growing fishing department with good quality products not cheap stuff. Sell brands like milwaukee and craftsman. Plus they have a lumber yard.

This place is awesome! They've got almost everything you could need... If there was a yarn section, there'd be no need to go to Rice Lake! The staff is great; very cordial and knowledgeable.

Great store, lots of inventory, prices are OK. We found everything we needed. Most of the sales people were a great help. We did find one salesperson that was not very courteous. They should probably pay a high school kid to come through and sort their nuts bolts and screws. There were a lot of things that were in the wrong drawers. But again the screw nuts and bolts inventory was extensive. We found everything we needed and then some.

I needed a pole shed built. We worked together on the design and they supplied materials and the labor. Due to the pandemic the materials andwork was delayed, and they were unable to complete the building in time to get the concrete poured. Also the shed wasn't the colors I chose.

Mike and Chris in the building materials section are really good and FAR better than that other place in Cumberland that sells building materials. SPARE yourself the pain of learning the hard way with that other place and shop here instead. They will treat you right here and are honest and open from the start.

My grandfather always referred to this place as Wholesale George's. It's the last hardware store in Cumberland. It outlasted Coast to Coast and True Value. The people are friendly and helpful. They have a wide variety of products available but not always the widest selection. It's the go to place for quick supplies and it's worth a little more to buy where they can help you match your broken lawn mower drive belt to a new one.
