Lovely campground, lots of mature trees. Easy access off US-151. We were on lot #50, a pull through level lot with great shade. The view out our front windshield was of a beautiful farm, very serene! Very quiet, relaxing campground. Great, huge dog park. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. And, its a very short, easy drive into Dubuque IA for supplies, restaurants and entertainment. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for one night while on the road and it was great. It was convenient to the highway which is nice when you’re driving long days between stops. What made it unusual was that, in spite of being near enough for convenience, it was beautiful, with great views, spacious full hook up sites, and excellent, friendly customer service. We have three young boys and they especially enjoyed the oversized checker and connect four games. There’s a great playground as well. A perfect place to play and rest after a long drive.

It’s a very clean and well kept campground and the owners go out of their way to provide a pleasant camping experience. It is such a nice place to come and relax and feel like family!! We would definitely recommend this Campground for it is the best one we have stayed at!!!

What a great place to stay. The owners are great they are friendly and helpful. We wanted to Summer in Wisconsin we live in Florida. I called and asked a lot of questions. They were so helpful so we decided to stay at Rustic Barn for the whole Summer and it was a great decision. Very well kept and central location for the area. The sunsets are incredible.

A very friendly check in experience. Sites are close by with utilities at the back end of the sites. That means I needed to use my 50ft hose and sewer extension. It also means I could sit at the nice picnic table and not be next to my neighbor's sewer. Grounds a VERY nicely maintained. There was a little chapel area. Nice grassy area to walk the dog. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved this park. Found it as we were looking for just an overnight stop. It is big rig friendly which is important to us. Easy to maneuver around the park and nice 80 ft. long pull through sites. Beautiful views and such a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. There is an adorable chapel on the property. Much care went into this place! The owners have done an amazing job taking care of the park and they are very welcoming. I was very impressed and wished we could stay longer.

This was a very nice campground. The owner was very friendly. Everything was very neat and tidy and well maintained, except for our site #29. The trees needed trimming big time, as they were hanging all over our awning and slide outs. We brought it to the owners attention, and said they would take care of it. Also, #29 was a little tight getting into. Would come back again but try for the back row where there is more turning radius. Make sure you have long sewer hoses.

It was a very well kept campground. We stayed in a 50 amp pull through site. Those are basically back to back with another camper so just a couple feet apart. The back in sights looked really nice and the whole property was very well groomed. The ladies and gentlemen in the office where kind and funny. This was just an overnight stop for us, but I would definitely do it again. If I was visiting something in the area I would not hesitate to stay there longer but I'd probably do a back-in instead of a pull through.

Our site was full hookup but far from post and shared with neighbor. Had so use 2 of everything to reach. Sites are pretty close to each other. We were the closest site to the restrooms, showers and laundry. The restrooms were very clean with hot water and great pressure. The washers were $1.50 and the dryers $1.00. They both worked great and only had to dry clothes once. The had outdoor yard games and a camp store. The staff were friendly. The internet was good. The water pressure to the sites was terrible. (Which is why the 4-star rating.) We questioned several campers, so it wasn’t just us.This is a beautiful park and close to Dubuque. Right on the border of Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois. We kept crossing borders in our excursions. The “Field of Dreams” movie site is close and free. They do ask for a donation. Suggested at $20 a car, which was worth it to us.Also nearby was the Fenelon Elevator $4 round trip for adults. There is also a riverwalk in in Dubuque which was free to do with museums, aquarium, river boats and hands on activities. It was VERY nice to be able to do all that at no cost.We would definitely stay here again!

The service we experienced at this RV Park was the best we experienced on our 3 week trip! Don't hesitate to book here. Kathy and Linda were terrific. I needed to get something notarized and several documents printed. They went out of there way to help me, and refused to take payment for any of it. WOW that's customer service. The park was emaculate with clean showers and restrooms. The views and sunsets were spectacular. Book here!Michael and Barbara

This was our first trip to Rustic Barn Campground and is was beautiful. Our site was spacious, level, easy to back into, and full hookup was within convenient reach. The campground is immaculately well-kept, and it has beautiful views of neighboring farmland including incredible sunsets! The large meadow for walking the dog (cleanup bags and disposal receptacle provided) and twice daily garbage pickup is an added bonus. The best part about the campground are the owners, Kathy and Laura. We had a nice chat with them our first evening so that when unfortunately a medical issue arose the next day, we felt comfortable calling them to ask about nearby medical facilitiy recommendations. Their kindness and helpfulness was incredible. We can not thank them enough. We will certainly return to this campground and highly recommended it!

Really a neat place to stay. We tried the retro camper. It was very cool, but it smelled like 1985. Not much they could do about an old smell in an old camper though. I prefer that to some awful cover up stench.Lots of yard games make this place especially entertaining.

Had my bicycles that were cabled with very secure locks stolen yet the owners initially denied their had been any theft. The dad slash Co owner had already told me others had had items stolen. Zero accountability if the owners are denying anything happened even after the sheriff's deputies have been here multiple times. It comes down to lies even after I told them that I saw a person walk through my campsite which was between the bikes and the motorhome. As if they were casing the place. The bikes were high dollar and secured with Giant brand cable locks. The issue is that the campground owners acted like nothing happened until I told them I was aware of the situation. Yet they knew because Lancaster deputies for Grant County had already been there. Zero integrity in this place. Lawyer up.

What a beautiful campground! Love the trees and setting. Beautiful views of the glacier countryside. Nice spacing between the pull throughs. Friendly/flexible office clerk, Nice, level and clean campground. Great stop over when passing through. Will pin this one in google for whenever we are in the area next.

Still stewing because drivers in Chicago were honking at you for going too slow? This campground has a way of removing those negative thoughts and putting your mind at ease. As you enter you'll notice on your left a couple of well organized staged campsites that contain perfectly restored retro campers, taking you back to a time when politicians weren't destroying the country. The campground is peacefully surrounded by cornfields in the rolling hills of southwestern Wisconsin, thus making it very photogenic. It's clean, it's well organized, and all of what I mentioned contributes to a friendly atmosphere in which you'll likely find yourself chatting with your neighbors. It sits across the highway from the tiny village of Kieler, and just across the river from all the attractions in Dubuque. The campground also features a tiny picturesque chapel, and you can walk to the church in Kieler where they offer holy mass every Sunday. The owners are polite and friendly as well. We've stayed here more than once and plan to come back.

Great campground! Super clean & well maintained. New owners are amazing & attentive. Not too many kids (we love kids & travel all summer with them, but our Labor Day trip is always 2 couples & motorcycles, so honestly, it's nice to find a quieter campground geared more toward adults on a holiday weekend). Pull thru sites are not our cup of tea as they are really close to each other, but to each is their own. We stayed at back in site #37 in a 44 foot toyhauler. Backing in was not too terrible & we were able to drop our ramp and load & unload our motorcycles after the rig was setup. We were able to park our rig (44 feet), motorcycles & dually truck on the site. Picture is a view from our site.

I normally don’t write reviews, especially bad ones because I believe everyone can have a bad day and everyone’s experience is different l, but I want to make people aware of this. We absolutely loved this little campground. It’s very well maintained and the sites are very nice. We’ve been coming here for years and the previous owners were Wonderful!! Unfortunately, it is under new ownership recently and I can not even put into words how rude they are! Not once, but twice for absolutely no reason. I am extremely disappointed. I would not recommend this campground.

We had a lovely time here! The campground is one of the best we have been to. The sites are clean, almost leveled flat, we did not need to add anything to level the camper. We had plenty of room between campsites. And the views of the farms was amazing! This is are new spot to stay at when we visit dubuque.

This is hands down the best campground we have ever stayed in! It's located on a shady hill with a beautiful view of a dairy farm in the valley. The grounds are extremely well kept. Everything is immaculate from the sites to the bathrooms. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Honestly can't say enough good things about our camping experience at Rustic Barn! It really deserves a rating of more than 5 stars!

The most beautiful campground we have been in so far.Absolutely loved the scenery. The rolling hills, the farmland and farm in the distance. Lovely sunset in the evening and lots of stars after dark. We came to visit Galena which was a 20 minute drive through very pretty farmland. Everything was in perfect condition! So clean, so pretty! Owner so friendly and helpful, site completely level with nice grassy spaces between sites. Some sites have concrete patio’s. Hope to get back here again!

This is a super nice, clean campground. Beautiful view of field and barn in valley. Had it decorated really cute. Lots of room to walk and play with your dog. Didn't do 5 only because WiFi was bad (altho it is bad almost everywhere we stay) Also no pool or spa. Not sure on potties and bathrooms but it was so clean, I would bet they were great. Good location for several things.

Rustic atmosphere with beautiful views of meadow, cows & quiet country life. Very helpful staff. Beautifully maintained & landscaped. Level sites & easy hookups. For a calm restful stay, I strongly recommend. Be sure to see the quaint chapel!
