This a very nice little Mom and Pop Motel with affordable, clean, comfortable rooms and lots of parking. It is on a main street but far enough away that the noise from any traffic isn't an annoyance. The rooms are small and show their age, but are comfortable. There is a desk chair, table, comfy chair, and a queen bed, microwave and mini fridge, and a tv with numerous channels to choose from. Our queen bed was worn and needed to be replaced as the middle has sagged, making it difficult to not roll into each other. There is a no smoking and no pet policy for the room we stayed in, with parking directly in front of the rooms. There is a highly rated cafe across the street, and it is a short walk to the numerous main downtown businesses. It is worth the price, even with the few minor discrepancies.Walkability: It is located right on Main Street and a quick walk to many other businesses.

Cute place and good prices! Bed was a little too soft and the one chair was a bit worn out but room was clean and more than adequate for our needs.Walkability: Right on the main street. Restaurant and shops easily within walking distance. Ice cream just down the road also!

Unlike the people who wrote negative reviews, I had an excellent experience at this charming little motel. I listened carefully to what the owner told me, picked a room for myself from the ones on offer, and I must say it was remarkable as one of the best, cleanest, and friendliest motel stays I have ever had. And it was inexpensive as well.If those dissatisfied folk want to experience a truly dreadful motel- head west to the Castle Rock Motel in Castle Rock, CO. I'd rather take the Devil Woman's hospitality any day.

1. Owners were kind, helpful, and professional each time I've talked to either one of them on the phone.2. Every room I've stayed in has everything I could possibly need: microwave, refrigerator, extra electrical cords, a fan, comfy rockers or recliners, tasteful and comforting decor, and extremely comfortable beds and bedding. I could go on and on.3. Most recently, I entered my room and found a small lighted Christmas tree.*I have a strong feeling that whoever wrote this review: Poor Manners + Deceptive Photographs on Their Website, has either poor manners, a mental illness, or is just a mean person. And I would bet there is a completely different version of the story than what he depicted. I am reporting his review. And please grow up, sir.

Her sign clearly says vacancy but claimed she's all booked up. No cars in parking anytime I go by there. Took me 5 times of calling her before she called me back. Including right from the front door. I had previously made reservations with a man (I think her husband but idk) and he told me it's normally $65/ night, but if I was staying the week he'd give it to me for $55/ night. When I told her that(don't know her name), she said that was last year not this year. I told her uhh no. I clearly had reservations for THIS YEAR. In fact THIS WEEK, but I canceled them. She immediately got extremely rude and told me "I KNOW MY RATES AND THEY'RE $80/, NIGHT!) Then she hung up on me!!

Great Motel! Clean and quiet, good wi-fi, great for the rate. I have been coming here for 5 years. The other reviews about the owner are wrong she is a nice lady. Close to everything in town, it is nice to give the business to locally owned motels and not a big chain. I have stayed in a lot of motels and I would recommend this one you can't go wrong!

After reading the negative reviews on here decided to write a review of my own. The Main Street Inn is a quaint, clean and nicely located motel. Spent two nights there and would stay again. Jayne the owner was extremely cordial and helpful with where to go and what to do while we were there. Also had a jovial greeter come and visit us every morning, the owner's dog named "Belle"... 4 pounds of bouncy gray fluff. If you are looking for a nice home like atmosphere at a reasonable rate i would highly recommend the Main Street Inn. Thanks Jayne and Bella for the wonderful stay.

Quaint, comfortable, quiet and clean! The rooms have a homey, cozy, northwoods atmosphere. Rates are extremely reasonable. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. We have been able to bring our dog when necessary (with a great walking path close by). Easy walk to downtown and places to eat/shop. We have stayed here a number of times and has become our go-to place when we come to Crandon. I highly recommend it!

I must agree with the last review "This was the worst Place........"I too walked into vacant office only to read a sign that said I had to attend to my second job, please find a key in the mailbox for the room that you wish and will collect in the morning.Fine....That will work for me.I then later met up with the owner and was questioned why I had selected a 2-bed room and not a single,I replied, “Well I chose that room because that’s the same one you gave me last time I was here. I was made to feel like I had done something wrong, so I offered to pick up camp and move to another room. She just walked away from me and said nothing. Just then another customer drove on site and she uttered to me that they will probably want the room I chose, so once again I offered to move rooms to accommodate the newcomers and she said sarcastically in order to make me feel guilty, "Now I have to clean two more rooms" {thus meaning so 2-bed rooms would be available and it was all my fault}I can agree that she is the Devil woman with no regard to other people’s feelings even if they happen to be her own bread & butter.I now know why she must maintain a second job, it’s because she performs so poorly at the first one.Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else, somewhere that the business will treat you with the respect that a customer deserves.

Great place to stay if you're working in the area. Showers are perfect, and its half the price of the chain hotel in town. Short walk to two decent restaurants too.

just love this motel. a really mom and pop place. the rooms are decorated like the north woods. only missing was shampoo cause i forgot mine. really nice people. definitely coming back when im in crandon again.

Main Street Inn is about as close to home as possible.. always very clean and comfortable.. the owners are very very friendly and helpful and funny.. since retirement we have stayed in many many many motels and this is still our very favorite.. love the area 4 ATV trails or riding motorcycle beautiful area wish we could be here more often thank you and be safe...

This is a good place to stay if you need to stay in the Crandon area for work or hunting/fishing. The rooms are nice and clean, the staff is friendly. You get a teddy bear on your bed, too.
