We have always been thankful this business exists. It has always been clean and the employees are extremely helpful. We rely on their excellent locally produced Tetzner ice cream and a variety of other small grocery items once we arrive in town. We have used the laundry-mat often, despite having our own washer / dryer, simply because I can wash large blankets etc. There is information about local events, an ATM and I believe firewood for sale . We have noticed that we get better gas mileage with the fuel we purchase here for some reason.. probably because Minnesota adds so many additional ingredients to unleaded fuel. We always have enjoyed Charlie whenever he is scheduled. Although he is small, quiet and somewhat shaggy in appearance, he definitely has been the highlight of the Star North for years.

Breathtaking for real! I've been in many waterfalls but nothing quite this cool!! The terrain is a great walk for those a little bit experienced in hiking. The hike up is a bit. 1.5 mi in. Worth it!

Recent change of ownership and the new owner is very knowledgable of the local area and friendly. Gas prices are very competive with the rest of the area for a 50 mile radius, especially considering the remote location. Only 15 miles or so from Pub and Grub - it'll save you $2+ a gallon from what I saw on my last trip up 1/2023.

Filled up at this gas station today pump turned off first time put in $6. Cleared and restarted and put in $61.25. Teller tried to say the first $6 was 6 gallons and charged us for those extra 6 gallon when it was $6. So ripped us off $31 and cents. Never go there again. Was not friendly and figured she was right when she was wrong. What’s the managers phone number so we can call them.

Star North is the backbone for the community of Corny. When other shops are closed, you can count on Star North to fill in the gaps. I have used their clean laundromat, gotten groceries, propane, wood, and of course gas. Clean, friendly, and most of all -- open!

Star North was like a little oasis for me as we drove through Cornucopia. Being a tourist, I wanted to get a feel of the local area. Stopped in here and found a large selection of local beers for friends at home. It was clean and the staff was very friendly and courteous. The gas prices were a little higher but I expected that.

often get my Tetzner's milk from here saves me at lest a half hour drive if I am not going to Washburn or Ashland. Always has been friendly there. They have good hours for getting what I need including cheese

No pay at the pump. Gas price 40 cents higher per gallon than other nearby towns. Friendly staff, and fair convenience store selection, but high prices on products inside.

If God had laid his hand upon this gas station it would only be better because it would add a waste baskets for travelers garbage.Feel free to do your laundry here!

Don't plan on paying at the pump after hours, as it is not offered.Some items inside are quite overpriced, but that is expected in this remote of a location.
