A super nice store, handy for elderly and those in area cabins and campgrounds. Great sales on meats and a wonderful man in meat dept. willing to explain how to cut up whole roasts in bag. This person went out of his way to help and explain different cuts of meat.I can cut up a deer blindfolded but not beef.Yes, the prices are a bit higher than the big box store but the price of gas to travel balances out the costs. I don’t come to the cabin to cook but I do forget to go back home! Loving retirement!!!!!

Way to expensive. Can understand an increase in price but they just appear to be a little greedy. Something I can buy at Walmart that is 3.46 will quiet often be 3-4 $ more at KJ's. If I'm wrong please tell me, would love to shop locally and do.

I feel that it's a pretty well stocked store for a small town area. Just a little bit higher prices than the city. But that's your choice to go all the way to town or your local store. But all in all a great store.

This was a little oasis in the small town of Cornell. I needed some basic staples while camping and the store provided. Prices were a bit high however the convenience factor was also great. I know of other small town grocery stores to close early so was appreciative to see that it was open after 7pm on a Monday night. The person working the cash register was very polite and conversational.

They have most everything when we go in there. The only thing is if they could keep the the hot wings in the hot area not make them then put them out in the cold section . People love Hot Wings and they would get more sales on them,

It's good for the, Oops I forgot this. Honey will you run to KJ's.Prices are a bit to high. Not much variety. Few sales. When there is things are not available. Bakery changed and not for the better. It used to have great bakery. Deli could be better and a better produce section.Service is always good. Love the people.

KJ's is a nice little grocery store. I only have one issue with this place and that is they don't make enough food to keep their hot case full. For example Wednesdays they make spaghetti and meatballs and Thursdays they make swedish meatballs, but they only make enough to keep it full until noon. If they are running out of the specials by noon every day then they need to make twice as much to keep it full until 5pm when the deli closes.

Prices are a little high, but affordable. One of the employees needs to shower a little more . . . I could smell him from five feet away. Unpleasant, got out of there quick enough to save my appetite.

this is the ONLY grocery store within 30 mins of me. they have an extremely limited fresh fruit/veggie area. they do not carry much for variety in anything or sizes variations. Store has no competition, so the prices are high as well. they are open from 7a-9p, usually, unless theres a storm, no business or dont feel like bein open then they just close down & put a note on glass door.I honestly prefer to do my greater shopping in Chippewa or Lady Smith (both round 40 mins away) Iv never had ice cream melt or dairy spoil getting it home.

On a very rainy morning, my grocery cart slipped away,while taking my groceries to the car. The parking lot is slanted and my cart took a spill. My eggs And milk broke open, the employees let me exchange with no hassle.

My husband and I used to buy the hamburger buns that were made in the bakery and they were great until they got changed. Now they are gross and have a really nasty after taste to them. My husband had to put them in the microwave just to soften them up as they were also rock hard. Will not be buying buns from here ever again.

They took over gordys in cornell and I so far do not like their changes. They raised their prices significantly. You also cannot write for over. They have no sales to speak of. Looks like woodman's or Walmart may get more of my grocery shopping and will have to limit this store to immediate needs only.

Very rare to have a cashier smile or even say thank you. I have had a cashier actually leave in the middle of scanning my groceries to help another customer find something.
