I like to shop local. Wanted to purchase a hanging basket. The sign said $9.99. At the register, the clerk didn't seem to know too much (probably new, never seen him there before). What I'm assuming was the manager, a woman walked up to see if she could help him.She said that they didn't sell baskets for $9.99. The least expensive was $14.99. I told her the sign directly above my basket was for $9.99. Again, she said not true (basically accused me of lying). I put the basket back and had the clerk help me with a bag of compost. While outside, I showed him the sign and told him to be sure to tell her that it indeed did say that. He said he would.How unfortunate for Ace that they lost a good customer, local customer, over $5.00. I manage a business and my clients are always right. I do not accuse them of lying. They are loyal, return customers.

I bought a hanging plant from the outside green house and the sign said $19.99 but when I went in to pay the girl scanned it and it was $29.99 when I told her the price out sign she just shrugged her shoulders and then told me my total. I also bought other items and had to ask her to put them in a bag for me as she looked at me to carry them without one. I was not impressed. I was very disappointed as I shop a lot here.

Nice little hardware store in town. Also has equipment you can rent for cheap. All kinds of stuff really. I seen a metal detector for rent lol. Might just choose to rent that too do something fun with the kids

I gave it a second time because the first time I was ignored totally by a woman cashier there. I decided to give it a second chance this time I wasn't ignored because there was a different lady working there and not gossiping.

Well organized and clean. Helpful from the moment I walked in, which is very different than the ACE where I live. The Columbus ACE it's a very good place to find those odd parts no one else carries, and I don't need to spend an hour of my time on line trying to figure out if I am looking at the right part.

I wouldn’t recommend using this Ace for rentals. Their prices and service are bad and they don’t seem to honor reservations. Home Depot is a much better option, with lower prices and better service; they also honor reservations.
