I’ve been going to Colfax Animal Hospital for years and I absolutely loved Dr. Buckley. I was somewhat concerned we he hung up his hat and the hospital changed hands to The Prichards, but my mind was quickly put at ease with Dr. Austin’s and Dr. Nikki’s professionalism, knowledge and friendliness. They go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable bringing my puppies to them and taking the extra time with me when I need reassurance. Brenda and Desi are absolutely wonderful as well and go out of their way to make me feel welcomed. Love this little clinic and their staff!

I can’t put into words our (my family’s) appreciation for Colfax Animal Hospital. They have gone above and beyond for over 2.5 years while our senior Chihuahua, Khloe, battled with heart disease.Even after long nights at the emergency clinic, I’d rush Khloe to Colfax AH as soon as possible for their second opinions. (Which twice were life-saving treatments)Even in her final moments, Dr Austin and Desi were kind, sympathetic and flexible.I cannot thank you enough for being there for our family; you allowed us time with our baby we might not have gotten elsewhere.

Met Dr. Austin and he was so kind and attentive. He did not make us feel rushed or dismissed with all of our questions as some of our dogs have complex cases. We're so happy to have found a new clinic to bring our five animals.

The Doctor is awesome! But the secretary is rude I was having debit card issues so I had to call my bank to tell them -i tried another card but not enough for entire bill- she asked why I had no cash- I tried calling my husband but he was in a meeting - finally the bank answered -and said she hadn't put the card in correctly because my account was fine - during all this my sweet boy was sitting outside in the car alone - I would have liked to have had the Doctor for my sweet boy but we will be going elsewhere. She could have been kind of at least civil but she chose to attempt to embarrass me. Perhaps she should learn to handle a transaction? Thanks Doc

Our dog got injured and I couldn't get a hold of our regular vet so I called this clinic. They were booked solid and had no way of seeing him, however they said they would let Dr. Buckley know, and sure enough, he got in touch with me right away and got our dog all set up with the appropriate medication. Even though they were very busy when I stopped by to pick it up, the staff was incredibly helpful and also skilled with handling the animals they currently had in the clinic. I am so grateful for their help and will be switching our veterinary services to this clinic.

New vets husband and wife took over the practice. Very welcoming. If you're tired of being treated dismissively at other vets, come here. A good vet treats the people and the animal. These are good vets 👍

Great experience! Vets in Menomonie usually give you an appointment weeks or months ahead, and if you really need your pet seen you don’t want to wait months. The Colfax Animal Hospital has always gotten me in the same day or within 1 or 2 days, depends if an emergency or not. The doctors have been amazing, specially Dr Buckley. He was knowledgeable and kind when treating my dogs, also timely when my dog had a medical emergency and all vets in Menomonie gave me an appointment until 1 month later, or sent me to EC.

Dr. Buckley was more than willing to shuffle things around in the schedule to fit my dog in when she wasn’t feeling well, and she ended up having pneumonia!! So grateful for the staff there!!

In 1996 I rescued a 6 month old Springer named Lucky. Lucky developed Parvo. Dr. Buckley saved his life. We moved to EC and rescued a little 8 week old Pug who we named Tater Tot. He was seen at Eau Claire Animal Hospital since we got him. Tater Tot was pooping blood again. He was treated in June and July for this. Then on 8-27-20 when it took almost 80 hours for a call back the vet asked if I just wanted him to just refill the antibiotics again. Unless we bring him in as an emergency appointment they could see him that day or wait 15 days for a regular appointment. I called Dr. Buckley and Tater Tot was seen that day and our entire bill was less than just the emergency appointment cost for Eau Claire Animal Hospital. Dr. Buckley was absolutely wonderful. He made sure that we didn't have any other questions. He even gave us his personal cellphone number in case we had any questions. We're so happy to be back with Dr. Buckley. You can totally see that he's a Vet who's in it for the love of the animals.

They were so kind to me and my animal. I thought my dog was dying and they treated her with such care, found an opening as soon as they could that day, and didn’t even charge me full price. The head vet also offered his personal number to contact him and come in on a day that they were closed if the medication for my dog wasn’t working. Seriously the best bet experience I’ve ever had
