Flatbed unload was fast! Turn east At stoplight on Madison St by Walgreens then turn left to pull into the drive…. That’s the easiest way for a truck and trailer to get in rather then going up and turning onto 5th st….. overnight park there if you want to!

Went in to get some lights looked by myself for a few minutes and couldn’t find what I needed. Went up to the counter and two workers were talking they both wouldn’t look at me and ignored me and I was clearly waiting for help. After about 10 minutes of this I decided I would look myself again. Then I could hear employees joking about how I was “lost.” It really had that good old boys club feel. I told them I was right here and what I needed. He helped me pick out the light fixtures but gave me the wrong light bulbs for the fixture. Then at checkout proceeded to ask me about my tattoos and if I was under the influence when I got them. I thought to myself what kinda of question is this and the answer is no by the way. Felt like my business was extremely unwelcome and like I needed to send a man in too be taken seriously or get help. It’s very disappointing. I am unwilling to go back in there to even return the light bulbs. I have a contractor building a fence and getting materials from there tempted to tell him to take my business else where. I am sure Menards would have no trouble helping a women.

Wherever I have a project I always stop here first. Help is always available and they are so friendly. I once stopped in for something 15 mins before they were closing and the gentleman helping me was patient and kind and went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed without rushing me. I recommend them from home renovation to pinterest projects!

Very helpful staff, decent prices, decent selection. did not have the colonial trim I was looking for, but I am able to use some chair rail that looks pretty good.
