Nice little grocery on the way up north. They have a great meat dept. The brats and sausage they make is pretty good for WI. The produce was fresh and the staff was friendly. We usually stop here instead of Turtle Lake on the way to the cabin.

I have always enjoyed going to this grocery store. Everybody seems friendly, and as far as I know, the prices are good or better than most places I am I have to admit, I hope this is appropriate, but I had quite a crush on one of the longtime workers, which also added to my positive review. 😍🤷‍♂️I recommend it to everybody.

I brought wild boar and venison to the Clear Lake location for final processing. That cool guy there in the plaid shirt walked me through all the options. I took his recommendations and walked away just three days later with out of this world ring baloney and summer sausage. I cannot wait to bring my next hunting bounty to Nilssen’s right away.

My favorite place to get my meat smoked or just get great quality meat products. The deli has a great variety of great tasting lunch, dinner food. Including fresh sliced cheese, turkey, chicken , ham meat or premade sandwiches to buy and go ready to eat. There homade brats are my favorite with a great supply of verity. But all the products in the store are real good. Fresh fruit and vegetables. There employees are real helpful and respectful. Ready to help u or just ask them ware anything is if u can't find what your looking for .

from the moment I walked in I was hit with an aroma that reminded me of when I was a kid. smoked meat. I'm not sure what kind but reminded me of bbq ribs, and I'm fine with that.The store is a decent sized one. It seems they always have some sort of deals going on, the staff are friendly from the get go. Being a small town, people know eachother, so you see smiley faces.giving it a 5 star not only for the awesome scent of smokey goodness, but for the atmosphere within.

This grocery store is one of the finest. They are cordial, helpful and kind. They deliver groceries to me every Wednesday and all I do is call in with my order on Tuesday. I am a senior citizen and unable to do my shopping at the store nor am I able to carry groceries to my apartment. The owner actually takes orders and often delivers groceries himself. A very reputable and fine meat market as well along with a deli. I appreciate this store and the people who work there very much.

Been grocery shopping here as long as I can remember, 36+ years! Always been friendly environment. Great local grocery store experience. I miss the soft serve ice cream machine they had when I was a kid though! Was something I looked forward to when my Mom was done checking out. Maybe one day it will make a comeback? :)

Nilssen's is a family oriented grocery store the staff is amazing. They also have a great selection of their own brat's and sausage, along with a great deli. When you are looking to eat they will have anything you may crave.

Your employee Brock was bagging groceries wearing a mask over his chin not covering his nose and mouth while we are less than 6 feet apart at checkout. If you're gonna wear one at least wear it right, and if you're going to have signs on the door asking people to stay 6 feet apart if they don't have a mask, maybe actually enforce it at the employee level? The cashiers should probably be masked as they are in close contact with many people all day. The food selection was great though.

This morning I bought things for breakfast and supper. Two meals and walked out of the store with a $87.34 bill. Absolutely insane. The selection is just ok or basic at the least for a small town grocery store. This store is a valuable part of this community but gouging people on prices is the reason most people do their shopping at Wal-Mart.

I stopped in today. Every single employee I encountered greeted me, and they were all wearing masks. THANK YOU! They do curbside pickup and deliveries too. Awesome meat department.

Their meat department is terrific. So many home made varieties of brats to try! Their hot dogs are our family favorites. I lucked out to come on their Friday 13th, 13% off all meat sale!

3 stars because I did actually find decent deals on some grocery items, but quite small and some aisles were one way due to the narrow width where only one cart could go through at a time. A very undesirable smell was burning my nose the whole time which made me feel light headed and nauseous(couldn't identify what it was though). At the end I noticed the cashier have a certain judgemental attitude towards a less fortunate customer. Very nice bagger though.
