I HIGHLY recommend stopping here if you are traveling through Wisconsin. The convenience store has a little bit of everything, the fuel is cheaper than you will find in any of the surrounding cities, and there is even a motel attached to it as well. The scenery is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and you could not ask for a more hospitable and friendly owner that goes far above and beyond to make sure that your visit to or through Clam Lake is absolutely the best that it can be. I will definitely be back!

While on a road trip me and my family hit a deer and our radiator was leaking. We were so lucky that we had a place to stop at Clam Lake Junction. Mike is an amazing human and so so helpful. He took a look at my car and realized I would need a tow. He put us into a room for free and set us up with a tow for the morning. Another customer came through that night and Mike actually got us set up that night to get towed by the customer to our destination! Very helpful and such a wonderful person. This will forever be our stop for anything we need while in the area! I highly recommend making this your family stop!The rooms were very spacious and had an at home feeling to them. I love the wooden rocking chairs! They were a beautiful accent and wonderful to relax in!

The owners of the Clam lake junction should be applauded. The best customer service I have ever experienced when staying at a Motel. We loved our stay here! The room was very clean and big. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was soft and warm. Great selection of channels on the TV. Very good location close to the forest, ATV/snowmobile trails and the elk! This a true hidden gem in the woods. The convenience store has everything you could need and more! The owners are very nice and helpful!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Clam Lake Junction. The rooms were decorated very cute in a Northwoods theme with log beds and stick rocking chairs. There was beautiful metal art on the walls. The hotel had incredibly soft Turkish bath towels. I would love to know where they got them. There was no breakfast, but you could buy breakfast sandwiches at the attached gas station if you wished.

We have stopped here a few times always treated well. We came camping and the gnats were very bad. We went looking for some forgotten items and bug spray. They had everything we needed and when I ask what the locals use the laughed but showed is a natural bug repellent and we’re super nice offer us samples to see if it worked before we bought it. The prices are reasonable for location and convenience. The employees will make a business at the customer level no matter the cost of products and the employees here are great felt like my local stores that I frequent.PS the natural bug repellent worked and I liked the sent… might wear it to work!!

My Daughter stayed here for a week in July, 2021 to visit me while I was in Clam Lake for the Summer. She stayed in room #5. Very roomy, clean and comfortable. No carpet, which was so nice. Easy access and quiet. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Very convenient to have the Clam Lake Junction general store attached to the building.The room had wooden rocking chairs, which I loved, and the room was pet friendly. A plus when I can over with my dog to visit. The space was perfect. A great value and I would highly recommend it.

The Junction is a life saver! I'm in Clam Lake regularly for work and love stopping in here. They've got everything from gas to snacks to fishing tackle. The new owners seem like they're making great improvements, including putting in diesel fuel and extending the hours of the convenience store. They also let me top off the air in my tires for free which was really nice. The staff is always helpful and friendly. A friend of mine stayed in their little hotel and said it was clean and comfortable. Next time you're going through Clam Lake, stop at the Junction!

This really is a one stop shop! There’s a hotel, salon, post office, and gas station/grocery. Our room was clean and check in was a breeze. We got there after they closed and they called to let us know how to get in and left our room unlocked for us. They had designated towels for your dogs/bike/atv which is so helpful. The bath towels for humans are SUPER SOFT! Even have a choice between feather and cotton pillows in your room. Would definitely stay here again!

A great place to fill up and grab your drinks. A basic selection of fishing tackle, hats, and basic groceries. Decent prices on gas and fire wood. Definitely not a place to get all your groceries, you'll have to go into town but if you forgot something or need basics this place is a great stop not far away.

It’s a cute, rustic place to stay if you’re hiking the area. The staff are all locals versed in the north woods culture of hospitality. They can tell you the great places near by to check out like Morgan Falls, the north country trail, St. Peter’s Dome or just point you towards the countless acres of national forest to explore. Wake up in your cozy room, grab a coffee from the store and set off to wherever your heart desires because there’s lots of exploring to do up there! Awesome!

My kids and I love stopping here while we are camping. There's tons of unique items to purchase along with all the normal convenience store items. The only downfall is that it's a little more expensive than a regular gas station.

Great place to stop fill up the tank & with anything you might need or want. Grabbed a few new lures & a nice stone trivet for a gift. Clerk was very nice didn't realize on our previous visit here that they were a Inn as well. There is always next time.

Bought some stuffed bears and they are really cute! Will visit again! Yes, toilets are for paying customers, and it was worth it!

Overall nice place. We were there to snowmobile. Great access to many trails in the Sawyer, Ashland and Bayfield counties. The room was clean and liked the decor. Customer service was good. Get free coffee in the morning at the attached gas station. No breakfast, but there is a place right accross the street. I would go back.

Kind of a bummer that you have to purchase something to use the bathroom, my 11-year-old really had to go, but had to stop and pay for something quick. I can understand in a large city if you have to do such things to avoid problems, but this is no big city convenience store. The person working at the counter was kind enough to only charge a small service fee instead of making me purchase $5 worth of stuff.

The cc machine charges a duplicate payment and the wonderful manager (owner?) went way out of her way to fix it before we went back home. Lovely store with all kinds of goodies.

I always feel welcomed in Clam Lake when I stay here (and I have stayed here more than a few times in the last couple years.) Rooms are clean and comfortable, winter and summer, and priced right for the value. I usually camp at nearby Day Lake in a tent, but when I bring friends and relatives up here who don't prefer camping, we stay at Clam Lake junction and my travel companions find it to be a nice place to stay. There are so many fantastic places to experience in this part of Wisconsin and this lodging destination is a great central location as a "home base."

This is the one stop shop, has alittle bit if everything, all the necessary things you might need to get you through eve or weekend! Very friendly staff and accommodating! Lots to offer at reasonable price! You will know where the fish are biting, where elk are roaming and where the deer and bear are running! A must stop if in the area! 👍🐻🦌

A nice stop with essentials you might need for camping nearby. The staff is very friendly. I called with a question and the person who answered the phone did not know the answer. I hung up thinking we were done, but she took it upon herself to call the owners about it to get an answer and then called me back from the caller ID. Her willingness to go the extra mile was something you don't see often.
