Pizza is really good. I have gone there several times in the past couple weeks and they are not open. I asked at the gas station and was told "Closed until further notice". Phone has been disconnected. no longer in service. .Parking: Parking lot is empty.Wheelchair accessibility: Nice ramp.

A classic northern Wisconsin tavern that serves made from scratch food. The owners are very friendly and curious about each patron. We had the deep dish pizza and learned about how it was made. Very unique and delicious. You can't even find this type of pizza in Duluth, MN.There is a vintage tape player juke box and an equally vintage arcade in the basement. There are three beers on tap and a variety in bottles. Mixed drinks are available. We didn't leave enough room after the pizza but there's homemade cheese cake. Will definitely come back for more.

I can not believe that you can get this level of stuffed pizza in the north woods! I have been to all the greats in and near Chicago and let me tell you this stands up to the best of them. The only thing that I wish I could have is a slightly larger pie. But that being said thats just a small thing that we don't need as their current two sizes are perfectly adequate.Keep being revolutionaries and bringing that high level focus on quality to the table and you'll have me for life!

Must try the pizza! The owner makes it all from scratch. Had the thin crust, didn’t have time for the deep dish. Definitely in my top 10 for pizza places around the world!!! I would’ve never known... right in Clam Lake in the north woods!

We had the BEST walleye dinner here today with a cup of the best homemade vegetable beef soup. My husband had the steak sandwich and what he calls “the best cheese cake ever” for dessert. Love the decor and the staff was great!

Hi!! We were in on Friday night and took a pizza and an order of fish to go. The pizza was one of the best we'd ever had!! The fish was totally AMAZING!! I've had my share of fish frys and yours is hands down that best!! Both items were worth the wait! Keep up the great work. We'll definitely be back!!! Terry and Deb.

The owner is a one of a kind. Talks highly of everyone that works there and is a great addition to the small town of Clam Lake. They are lucky to have them.A group of seven ate the breakfast buffet and left full. The biscuits and gravy was tasty. We will be back again.

Oh man this place is exactly what I was looking for… here in April, taking advantage of a chance to snowshoe and xc ski at our cabin… but so few food places open! I get it, not enough customers and times are tough… but good lord this place will be my first choice no matter what time of year, from now on… terrific food, friendly staff who you can tell actually like their jobs, and each other… and birdwatching! They have a bank of windows and one of them thought to put feeders up, and the birds love them! Anyway, obviously I’ll be back, and you should check them out!

New owners. Bar and several tables. Stopped here for lunch. Menu consists of pizza and a few other items-mainly battered and fried. Chicken wings, chicken tenders, cheese curds, fish.I tried the walleye fingers which were very good. My husband had the belt buster which was amazing- smoked, BBQ, pulled pork on a hoagie with cheese and coleslaw. Each were in the $10-$15 price range. Staff was friendly and attentive.

With COVID we weren’t sure they were open but just got done hiking at Copper Falls and worked up an appetite. Called ahead, and glad we stopped - really nice hand-pattied burger with homemade bun, crispy onion rings, and great potato salad! Ordered the homemade cheesecake for the trip home and couldn’t resist ordering one of his famous homemade pizzas for dinner after traveling. It was exceptional! He makes his own sausage, crust and sauce. If your in the neighborhood make a point to stop. They are hoping to retire soon after 30+ years so put it on your list. It is definitely the top 2 pizzas Todd and I have had. He also makes a deep dish Chicago style pizza. Good eats!

This is one of my favorite pizza pubs of all time! The owner handmakes dough & sauce daily, mixes the sausage & slices all the veggies. both thin & Chicago stuffed pizza are fabulous. Skip the burgers, get pizza! also makes cheesecake with a friends homemade maple syrup on it that is to die for. This has become my go-to place everytime Im in the area. They have a limited menu & alcohol selection. The hours fluctuate as well. I suggest calling ahead as its a very small place. they do not take large groups. The place is up for sale so Id get in quick, as Im sure the recipes wont be passed to new owners...Id do almost anything for that pizza recipe though😁

The homemade soup was great. Everyone enjoyed their food. I had "The Fabulous Fister" and the beef and brat patties tasted fresh and were cooked perfectly. The bun was soft and tasty. The owners are friendly and provide great information about the surrounding area. I'm glad we stopped by on our way back from the UP.

We've been going to this restaurant for many years. Never disappointed. But this summer we stopped in, and I ordered the same thing I've ordered twice a year for the last six or seven years, and the price had literally doubled since last summer. $45 is too much for a pizza.

At the crossroads to some of Northwestern Wisconsin's premier vacation destinations such as Hayward and Cable Wisconsin is the little "village" of Clam Lake. Nestled at the intersection of Hwy's M, 77 and a couple secondary roads. Here you'll find find 4 brown sided buildings and a little gift shop. Spread out along a couple of blocks. This could be Wisconsin's version of Twin Peaks! We drove past all the buildings, one was closed on Mondays. A couple of others had a few cars parked near them. Because we are adventurous...we chose the place with no cars parked by it.As we walked in we were warmly greeted by the couple who own the place. it was dark and the furniture is old and worn. Definitely not inviting. But who cares! The pizza was delicious. And definitely handmade. We could hear him chopping the ingredients for the order in the kitchen. The sausage is homemade! There are two types of pizza Deep Dish and thin crust (not really super thin). We ordered one of each to try them both. The crust is quite good. It has a yeasty sourdough taste. It definitely is there to add flavor to the pizzas and not just hold the ingredients in place. The Deep Dish has a rich, spicy, smokie sauce. And definitely not for the cheese adverse! Our Deep Dish must have had 2 lbs of cheese in it! The thin crust sauce is a bit sweeter and not as thick and the pizza is still covered in a mountain of cheese. They don't have any prepriced combinations on the menu. They're based priced as Cheese only and then you have to create your own by selecting from the available ingredients. That does drive the price up quickly but the ingredients are premium and fresh! We were pleasantly surprised and satisfied. The pizzas were delicious. The dining room does have large windows looking out into the woods. So there is somewhat of a view. They also had a free little book exchange on a table in the corner. Adding a bit of homeyness. If you're looking for beautiful dining spaces...this place is not for you. If you love a great pizza...it's perfect!
