We are very pleased with our cat’s adoption.They got back to us as soon as we showed interest in adopting a cat. We told them that we wanted a ‘declawed Calico cat’ and they found one for us! Her name is Cupcake.They sent her home with all of the paperwork for when we were to bring her to our veterinarian….. it was a well organized operation and she was ready to go home we came to pick her up.We are very happy with our adoption and it is so nice to have a cat in the house again!

I had a fantastic experience with the Chippewa Humane Association! I filled out the general application and they matched me with the perfect cat for my lifestyle. They move at a great pace too; I was approved for my adoption maybe 2-3 days after I filled out the form and I took him home that weekend! Will be returning here for my next animal 😊

We had a great experience with Chippewa Humane Association when we recently adopted a kitten. The adoption application was simple to complete online, was approved quickly and we were able to bring out kitten home the same day. The staff was friendly and able to answer all of our questions.

Awesome Experience!!! I have always gone through Chippewa Humane Society because the people there are so friendly and caring to work with. I recently adopted a cat "Ivan" after recently losing another loved kitty. He's such a love bug!! We are a perfect match!!

We live two hours away from Chippewa Humane Assoication, and were looking for a senior dog on the internet when we saw Matilda at Chippewa Humane Association. The adoption coordinator did such an excellent job helping us through the adoption process. We were told that Matilda came from a neglect situation in Texas. The shelter made sure Matilda had the health/vet care she needed during the time she was with them. I was so impressed with the love and care Matilda received at Chippewa Humane Association. They obviously are very committed to finding good forever homes for the animals who are in their care. We feel very lucky to have found Matilda and to have had such a good experience with Chippewa Humane Assocation. Thank you so much for all the work you do and especially for letting us take little Matilda home! She's been with us for one week now, and is loved very much.

We had a great adoption experience with CHA! The application was thorough and we were approved quickly. Before the appointment to meet the dog we were interested in, we were given the opportunity to ask questions about the dog. We appreciated the communication ahead of time since we had a 2 hour drive to meet the dog we ended up adopting! The drive was worth it! Everyone we met at CHA was very kind and answered our questions. They do a great job and even followed up to see how our new dog was adjusting! We love our new pup!

We had the best experience adopting Olive recently from the Chippewa Humane Society. Cherie was great working with us! Olive needed to be spayed and we were then leaving for a work/vacation trip, the Chippewa Humane Society was kind enough to hold her for the extra days until we could get back to pick up Olive. We are so happy to have sweet beautiful Olive quickly accept us into her life! Lucky us!

I live trapped a severely injured cat and took her in. They called the Vet immediately and we're prepared to pay to save her. Unfortunately he called to tell me her legs were too damaged, they did make sure she had a painless gentle end.I took her in on a Saturday morning, it was well below zero and the roads were slick. I was delighted to see about 8 cars of the volunteers in the lot on such a brutal day. Please make a donation if you can to help them keep helping animals in this area!Update: Adopted a kitten, got her home and she had diarrhea. Took her to Vet, she had intestinal infection and 2 lbs underweight.

CHA was great to deal with, their response and application approval process was quick and super easy. They have the pets best interested obviously in mind and want to ensure there is a connection without making the adoption processes stressful or having the potential adopters jump through many hoops.They were up front with the issues my dog had when I met him and they addressed my concerns with said dog without pressuring me to adopt. We absolutely love our "Mickey" and would happily adopt from Chippewa Humane Association again when the time comes. I would also refer anyone who is interested in a pet to reach out! They are great to work with!

Outstanding communication via email with the volunteers, thorough adoption application, very kind humans. I ended up not adopting only because I found a cutie closer to home and didn’t make the drive out to WI. I would still trust and recommend this shelter!

Wouldn't help. Not very nice people. I understand that and I apologize for the bad review. I was really hurting at that time. I don't want to take away from the work that you do to try and save animals. That was my 1st and only surrender. I'm not going through that again!! I only had to surrender her because she lunged at my grand-daughter.Keep up the good work

Adopted a dog only a few days ago, and she became a welcome member of the family immediately! The staff obviously took great care of her for the months she was at the shelter. I could not have been more surprised at the interest they took in making sure I had everything I needed to get everyone off to a great start! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

Visited on Saturday and found a wonderful addition to our family. Staff is knowledgeable and eager to help. Animals are well taken care of at this facility and obviously loved by their temporary caretakers.I liked that they require you show proof of prepayment of vet visit for non-altered animals. This should cut down on people adopting for the wrong reasons and helps to slow down on overpopulation. Be prepared to spend about $300 to adopt a non altered cat between spaying and adoption fees.
