Compassionate staff and top notch service with reasonable pricing, what more could you want?! I choose to drive an hour for their pet care, although living withing 5 minutes of 3 other vet clinics. Growing up my family brought all of our pets here. It's a comfort knowing I can continue to bring my pets here still today with the same level of care. Thank you for being an honest and loving clinic for our fur babies!

GREAT facility. The staff here are always kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Was in the process of moving vets simply due to travel time from our home to interstate vet, however, had an unexpected emergency with our dog. The staff handled our emergency with high importance and compassionate care. We decided not to change vets and make the commute to interstate simply because the drive is well worth the care they provide here. My dogs are my world and I feel confident knowing they are in good hands with the staff. Would recommend!

Now that I have had time to process what happened, I feel it’s fair that the public know what happened. On Wednesday Feb. 21st I brought my dog in to be euthanized. The front desk staff was so polite and caring. Something I cannot say about Dr. Elsie Meyer, it was almost like she was in a hurry to get through this appointment. My poor dog was subjected to massive undue trauma at the hands of Dr. Meyer’s. It was obvious that not only did she not have the bed side manner for this type of appointment but she lacked the experience to hand a small breed dog euthanasia. After missing or going through the vains in each leg, my poor dog was crying in fear and in pain. A cry I won’t soon get out of my head. To make matters worse she blamed my dog. Thankfully I had a close friend there to remind the doctor to do her job, which is a line that should have never had to been crossed. I have seen Dr. Meyers before so to see her astonishing lack of knowledge, empathy and compassion to take responsibility was painful. What was supposed to be a time of peaceful goodbyes. Unfortunately, thanks to Dr. Meyers it was anything but.If you have to bring your pet to this clinic, I highly recommend either of the two other doctors. But I would steer as far away from Dr. Meyers as possible.

We were not a part of the Interstate Vet Hospital family but needed to get 1 of our fur babies in somewhere quickly as she gotten sick very quickly and appeared serious.They got her right in, everyone was very gracious and kind;very reassuring. They v were wonderful with our sick girl and took great care of her while being mindful or costs; while it not even in my mind-but appreciated none the less.You would be fortunate to have them care for family fur baby.

My dog Spencer was very ill. I had to give him ounces of water through night to keep him hydrated. I called interstate veterinarian hospital and hey made room for him by 9am. He was diagnosed an treated with great care. I followed the directions and 2 days he was back himself. Wonderful people that react with create detail and follow up. Can't thank them enough!

IVH was wonderful when I needed to find a clinic to evaluate and treat my rabbit immediately. I had contacted numerous veterinary offices in the region and they were the only location to be able to do this. Their staff was very professional and helpful. Thanks IVH!

One of our poor fur babies had some kind of eye infection/irritation start up yesterday. Yesterday it was red and glossed over and today his third eyelid was covering most of his eye along with drainage, plus he kept rubbing it with his paws so I knew it was bothering him. (Did you know your cat has a third eyelid?! I definitely didn’t!)I called multiple vets and everywhere kind of brushed me off and told me they were booked out 2-3 weeks. I wasn’t going to wait that long to have him seen. I know lots of vets are super backed up with appointments but I wanted him seen before the weekend so it didn’t get worse and so he wasn’t in pain.Finally, I called Interstate Vet in Centuria and they told me I could bring him in ASAP and they could look at him today. I’ve never been so relieved. Turns out it was his third eyelid that was irritated and causing the redness. They prescribed him an oral antibiotic and an eye ointment to take until the medicine is gone. I couldn’t stop telling everyone there how thankful I was that they would see him tonight. I’m sure a big piece is that I’m pregnant and more emotional than I usually am, but these kitties are our family—we all love them!His eye already looks so much better than it did all day after only one dose! The vet said it should show improvement with each dose. He also said he wanted me to call on Monday even if it’s looking better so he knows how he’s doing. That, to me, shows they really care. I was so happy with my experience! Plus they allowed me to come into the building and even into the exam room while they did the eye exam—I know a lot of vets still aren’t allowing us in the building with our pets. I can’t say enough good things!The 1st and 2nd pictures are after his first dose. The 3rd and 4th pictures are from earlier today when I was most concerned about him.

We were welcomed with smiles. The staff gave us the kindest non-judgmental care. They listened to our needs and addressed the problem we were there for. The staff did not do any unnecessary testing. It was a very relaxed environment with a veterinarian with years of knowledge and experience.

Interstate Veterinary Hospital has a wonderful staff that are extremely educated, knowledgeable and very caring with regards to the animals they treat. My dog is a rescue pet and does not like other animals or going to the vet, Interstate has completely removed the stress of taking him both for myself and for him. Their prices are reasonable and I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. You won't regret taking your pet to Interstate!!!

Dr Springer is amazing. He helped us with our last pup for dental issues, shots, checkups and when it was time for him to cross the rainbow bridge. We got a puppy and he's seen him for every appointment since, first with the breeder, then us when he's gotten shots, fixed, and an appointment for an intestinal infection. He gives great advice and it's obvious he really cares for his patients. Prices are reasonable and they do great getting you in for emergencies. Thank you Dr Springer and staff!

THANK YOU FOR SAVING OUR PUP!!Called at 8:30pm on a Friday for an emergency with our 5 month old puppy. She had eaten something poisonous and needed immediate intervention. TheVet on call (Jon Springer) called back within minutes and met us at the clinic. Hetreated her promptly, explained what he was doing and what he believed the issue tobe, and kept her overnight for observation. He was very kind and professional. He made us feel heard and validated our concerns. The staff were amazing and kept us updated with how she was doing right away the following morning. We are so thankful for the care she received here and that they took an emergency call when no other place nearby would. Total cost was less than expected and for saving her only cost $250. We are very pleased and would recommend to anyone needing emergency care for their pup.

Our first visit with our two cats! Wonderful place! Warm, friendly, professional, happy, inviting, caring staff. Our cats were treated like the Queens they are. Just a fun place to bring your fur babies! Our girls were not afraid of their first~time adventure at Interstate Vet. Definitely will be our vet from now on. So thankful we gave Interstate Vet a try after years & years of going to another local vet.

Interstate Veterinary Hospital is fantastic. I don’t know how they offer the high customer service they do, when other places struggle. It is easy and quick to get an appointment. All staff are compassionate and meet you as equal animal lovers. Although their job is consuming mentally, physically, and emotionally, they continually offer empathy to clients, and share in client joys. When presented with an animal who is not feeling well, they investigate and find answers, which is different from my past vet clinic who more than once shrugged their shoulders. They are flexible and understanding even on busy days. Clients are never made to feel like they are a burden for asking questions. I recommend Interstate Veterinary Hospital to everyone I know.
