Paid nearly 100$ for 3 screens to be replaced. Since taking them home they almost immediately came apart (I should have turned around right then) I’ve been fixing the mess ever since. Glue. Tape. I paid extra for paw proof screens but instead now I have a massive risk for loosing my pets by merely going through the window. Horrible. Zero stars and fire the volunteer “fixing” screens. He clearly didn’t wanna be there. If u wanna loose ur pet and get ripped off, get ur screens fixed here.

Do NOT have your screens repaired at this store any longer. Beyer's when family owned was a great store and I personally had screens repaired satisfactorily. Unfortunately, the screen repair person is new and not very skilled (or has a low standard of quality). Attached to this review are pictures of the screens repaired by the new "screen guy". All three screens exhibited problems from "dimples" caused from improper screen tension to "twist" resulting from a broken frame corner that was not replaced. I spoke to both the screen repair person and the Tom the manager. Both had every excuse under the sun why they were acceptable. When I asked if this quality would have escaped Pella final inspection at the factory, they had no answer. Tom told me to take the screens at no charge and stated, "no harm, no foul". So, after 4 round trips to the store (drop off, pick-up but rejected, Tom on vacation, final meeting to retrieve screens), the screens will be delivered to their competitor for proper repair. I wish I had seen the other review regarding screen issues under the new management. Regardless, this review is no reflection on Hank and the Beyer's family. They were always helpful and the best to work with. The name may say Beyer's True Value but customer service and quality workmanship left with the family.

Rented the chipper end of day Sat evening to be used on a Sun. I received it with no oil showing on the dipstick so I had to run out and get some Sun AM. Also once we fired it up we found out it was clogged in the discharge chute so we spent the next hour scrabbling for tools to remove the chute and clear the clog.Upon returning the unit on Mon morning I presented my concerns and instead being apologetic I was yelled at for not getting charged 2 overnights instead of 1 (even though the contract clearly reflected 1 overnight). No partial refund or even a thanks for throwing some oil in it.They have good rental equipment but I have my doubts if I should rent from them again after this experience.

This is one of the nicest hardware stores I have ever been in. They have anything and everything you are looking for. The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable about what you are looking for. Looking forward to going back.

Meh. Every time I stop in they don't have the items featured in the ad. Last time I was there I wanted to show them what I was looking for in the ad and they didn't even have a flyer to refer to. A week ago Beyer's didn't have the bird seed on sale in the True Value ad ... Drew's in Port Washington had an entire shelf full. ACE in Grafton is worth checking out as well. I like to keep my dollars local but they don't even seem to be trying.

I have been going to Beyers for many, many years to have my lawn mower blades sharpened. Ted used to send them out and have them professionally ground, now they do it "in-house", $8 per blade and I could have done better with my Dremel, I have no confidence that they are balanced so I am having them machine sharpened at another place. Amazing how bad this place has become since Hank sold it. Hopefully they'll get their act together.

Hank and staff are always friendly, helpful and customer-focused. I can't tell you how many times they've gone out of their way to answer my questions to keep me going on my home improvement projects. I'm really proud to have a business like Beyer's in our community.

I am always amazed at the helpful, friendly staff at this store. I don't think I've ever walked in there without being greeted by someone asking if I need help with something or help finding something. You don't see this kind of customer service at too many places anymore these days. They are a bit pricey compared to other stores selling similar things, but you can't put a price on this kind of customer service. Keep it up!

Great place with great people. Flowers are amazing. They had just the right paint for the project I needed that Home depot did not have. Very helpful in buying a lawn mower and snow blower. Would have definitely bought the wrong one for what I need at Home Depot.

The staff is amazing DEVIN,AIDEN,ROWAN,IAN,and an electrician(used to work there) Combined wisdom they worked to save my light saber for a lil guy. Best store ever.

great customer service. they tuned up my mower and now they will do my snowblower. very affordable price. they pick up and deliver. What a time saver and I don't mind paying for that service. they are always helpful with finding what i need and always take the time to answer my questions !

Forget Home Depot. Here people help you find what you need, and there is usually someone to explain how to use it. Hank will order whatever he doesn't have. And you can rent just about anything. This is a wonderful hardware store.

I bought a can of spray paint > did not take the receipt. Yikes I wanted lemon yellow NOT school bus yellow. They allowed me to make an exchange with no receipt... thank you Beyer's !!
