My husband and I LOVE having State Farm (specifically working with the Cedar Grove office) as our insurance provider. While State Farm may be a large company, with people like Julie Kappler always willing to help us figure out just what we need, it gives it that personal feel. I’ve insured my car and apartment through places like Progressive and not only was that far more expensive, but I could never get the help I needed. I was always transferred from person to person when I had a question, and I would end up just being frustrated. I have never had a bad experience working with State Farm in Cedar Grove. They’re the best!

I will say the receptionist was polite but the business as a whole is just a scam. This started years ago when they told me they would not be able to cover me anymore for no reason whatsoever. I went progressive for a few years and they tried to raise my rates so I called State farm and they once again said they would insure me. I was insured with them for maybe 4-5 months and had called had called to get my car unlocked TWICE because I paid for roadside service to be included IN MY POLICY. So today I get a call saying that as of july they can no longer insure me because I had two claims. The roadside service. So they are fine when your just paying and not using any of the stuff you pay for. But heaven forbid you actually use the services that you pay for. Then they all the sudden cant insure you anymore. What a scam. Insurance the last racket. My advice. Find a different insurer.
