Family friendly. Pet friendly. Has man-made pond, horseshoe pits, mini golf, hiking trails. Close to lakes for fishing. ATV trails. Has a Great campground store. Has weekly activities on Saturday nights.Rooms: This is a campground. It does have a couple cabins to rent and it has a camper to rent. Lot spaces for campers and tents are really well maintained. Water and light hookups. A few septic hookups. Campfire pits and picnic tables at sites.Nearby activities: You're 10 miles from poynette which has many bars and a supper club. And you're about 20 mi from portage which has major stores like Walmart, fast food restaurants, etc. There are ATV and hiking trails.Safety: The campground has a one-way road but you can get around the entire campground minimal traffic on the outside highway and in the campground very safe area but still close to small townsWalkability: You can definitely walk the kids and the pets You could walk the whole campground very nice areaFood & drinks: The campground store has food and basic camping eats but it also offers a selection of friendship bracelets camper stickers if you need replacements for your RV or your camper they have different hoses They have shirts they have DVDs that you can purchase They have ice cream they have hats they have shot glasses magnets dice games and on Saturday nights you can gather with everybody for a meet and greet and enjoy popcorn. It's a BYOB. Bring your own body and bring your own beverage! Lol.Noteworthy details: This is a smaller campground. It's quiet. It's a friendly place. You definitely can relax here.

This is always one of our favorite places to stay. Campground is clean, pond & beach are well maintained, great little camp store, & friendly owners and staff! They always have fun activities for kids and adults or you can just relax on the beach or at the campsite. Wish we could get better reception for the TVs and improved cell service (that you don't need when your busy relaxing all day but would be nice to have on occasion) but certainly isn't a deal breaker and why we continue to come back every year. Great place with great people!!

we drove 10 hours for a family wedding thinking this place would be "just ok", we were wrong, one of THE best and THE cleanest campgrounds Ive stayed at. The swimming pond was crystal clear, the campground was immaculate, and they even had bands play at night for the adult campers! Id be here every weekend if i didnt live so far away

**EDITED TO ADD** We have now stayed here twice (2 years apart) and STILL love it. We stayed a full week and saw how much activities they pack into a weekend and LOVE the atmosphere. This is a campground that feels like home when it's full and is relaxing and quiet when we're the only ones staying. Best of both worlds. We were recommended Glacier Valley by a family member in the area and we were not disappointed. When we pulled up at check-in, we found a very long line of campers waiting to dump (we saw this was an issue in Google reviews so was prepared) but finally got a space to go around and get checked in. We rented two of the cabins and the amount of space inside was perfect for this family of 4! Each kid got their own loft, we had a bed with wonderful space. The number of things to do while there was perfect for the ADHD kids and the ability to sit and watch them do ALL THE THINGS was perfect for this tired momma! We played mini-golf at 6:45 am, horseshoes at 6:54 am, and playground at 7 am to just start all over again (multiple times)! Definitely plan your drinking schedule with the fact that the bathroom is not in the cabin but still close! We had s'mores on the fire pit and two nights of BBQ! We even swam in the lake and the kids LOVED the inflatables (even the 40-year-old fat dudes got out there). The owners were incredible and friendly. Really can see that they care and have built a wonderful community. We will be back!

The hosts are wonderful, and they made such a wonderful place for families. Multiple areas for kids to enjoy. A nice beach with a water course. Clean bathrooms and showers!

We have been comming to the valley for 5+ years now. In the early years I would have given a 5 star review! But over the last number of years we have been greatly disappointed by the lies we have been told. When the current owners bought this campground they were told about electrical issues on the existing sites.Every year they tell our group (9+ spots) that they are going to get it fixed and every year we come back to see they didn't do it again. But they have no problem putting in more and more seasonal sites, cabins, retro campers to rent and this year's project was a huge shed. We have given them enough chances and are moving our group out of the valley (we normally stay memorial, labor day and a Halloween weekend. With a smaller amount also doing music fest)It's a shame that the owners do not care that some campers on hot days simply don't have any electricity because they have 9 sites on a 200 Amp service.... basic math tells me that they all can't have 30 amps like we are paying for.If they actually got the electrical fixed we would continue to come back because the kids enjoy the pond and playground. But I can't continue to financially support the owners and their lies. When we arrived memorial weekend we find that they are digging a trench to add even more sites to the back area of the campground. Yet this is exactly what they need to do on the cedar side by the pond!!!

The campsite was spacious. The owners and staff were very nice. The permanent campers were very welcoming. We would definitely come back again.

**Please note that sites in the 160s do not have 50amp service as stated on their website. Call to confirm your site before booking!** We booked the last two sites for Father's Day weekend and we were pleasantly surprised that the sites were next to each other and were priced at a very reasonable rate! Check in was smooth and quick. Our site was right next to the pond, which was convenient for our kiddos. However, the sites are advertised as 30/50amp but as we began setting up, we quickly realized that was not the case. I called the office to confirm, they sent someone down. He was surprised that, in fact, there was no 50amp. I called the office back and they didn't offer to make it right. We made it work but it was in the 90s and with the dogs, we really would have liked both our AC units available. Other than that, it's a nice campground. Sites are very close, but it's clean and staff is friendly. They are making many improvements. Lots for kids to do.

Great little hidden place in the country. People are really nice. It's small and clean and has everything you need to have a great time. Will hopefully make it an annual thing.Hoping someone can find my Fitbit on the bottom of the pond and return it.

Great amenities, especially for families with kids! Nice sites (400's) that were close to everything and had trees and some shade. Our site even had open grassy area behind us for the kids to play (full of fireflies at night!).

Our first time staying here over Father's Day weekend, and we loved it! It will definitely be a regular go-to each year. The swimming pond is fantastic, with so many things for the kids to play on. And it's all included! No extra fees for anything. The playground and swimming pond are all close and there are plenty of campsites all around them should you want to stay close by for ease of access. The staff is super friendly and make you feel like you're part of the family. Already trying to plan a larger family camping trip for next year.

Update. We stayed last weekend. Speed bumps were gone, and we got our reserved site. Was a great weekend. Nice swimming pond. Have to pick areas for shaded sites. Annoying speed bumps. Dump station is extremely inconvenient. Long line that blocks main road for the campground so if you are just trying to get to your camper you could be waiting a while. Screwd up our site and put us in one we barely fit and gave large shaded site we had reserved to a small trailer but we made it work and lucky our neighbor was nice enough to let us park truck on their site because we had no room on ours.

We stayed in a cabin. 2 adults, 3 kids. Great size. We used the firepit and the grill. Kids enjoyed swimming. Bathrooms were relatively clean. Showers for HOT (yay!) and had good pressure. Store had what wet needed. And they delivered the wood we purchased!

Edit to respond to the owners: My group rented 2 park models. BOTH were dirty! I very highly doubt someone went into both of the park models and messed them up as much as they were. This would mean someone left a dirty towel, used both tables, couches, bathtubs, tables, refrigerators and bunks in BOTH rentals? Although this claim could be possible, since both units were unlocked when we arrived, I highly doubt that somebody snuck into both of them and messed the BOTH up them like this. Maybe have your units locked between guests if this is a valid claim? The reason I mention ADA In my review is because the lady at check-in literally use the term the ADA cabin. You might want to educate your employees on the proper terms to use.Regarding parking and your entire property and amenities; I might l suggest that you discuss some different things with your guest at check-in or provide them with a map, or any other basic paperwork regarding your campground and the rules and different things that are available, so your guests are aware. We were not provided any paperwork at check-in, other than the offer of a map for the Amish stores in the area. I understand guests could look on your website before they arrive to see what’s available where and view a map, however that was impossible to do during our stay since cell phone service was very spotty and your Wi-Fi only worked in select locations on the property.————-Rented the new park model which was not cleaned before check-in. Found sand all over, a dirty couch, tables, counter, sink and fridge, as well as dirty towel in the bathroom. As well, the rental was advertised as ADA accessible , and it definitely is not. Good thing my family didn’t actually need an accessible unit. The ramp is way to steep for accessible access and the entire unit does not meet ADA requirements, including door width and bathroom set up (has tub and not walk-in shower)Swimming pond was great, except when someone pooped in it, which caused it to be closed for half the day. I understand this wasn’t managements fault, but was disappointing. Wish they would treat the pond with chemicals and follow normal pool regulations, which would have only required the water to be treated and closed for 30 minutes, not the rest of the day.Parking was also very tight on ALL sites (my family had 2 rentals and 3 camper sites) and had to get creative and park on the grass, right on top of the fire pits on 3 of the 5 sites. Good thing we had one site that had enough space to use the fire pit, or not sure where we would have parked and enjoyed our space.

Glacier Valley is one of the best private campgrounds I’ve been to. The staff and owners are very nice and accommodating. The grounds are clean and are meticulously cared for. (New gravel was on my site and others upon arrival on the Memorial Day weekend) looking forward to next year. Thank You

From the brochure you may think this campground is well put together however you will be mistaken. As a group (9-11 sites) we have been going here since they have opened. We used to go here 4 times a year and are working to get into better managed campgrounds. Beware, they will feed you a line about all of the things they plan to do and fix but it won't happen.. they put cabins in and bought a retro camper though don't fix the main issues. They continue to raise their prices but they don't fix their electric on the original sites. We have had one air conditioning unit blown and two electric cords melted. They have made us feel like an inconvenience when we ask questions, disregarding that we are paying to have electric sites.

Awesome campground with all the ammenities and activites one would want for summertime fun! Some of the sites are a little tight, and definitely have an abundance of sun in most instances. Many sites surround their awesome man made swimming pond which is clean and has plenty water items for kids to play on and with. The facilities are clean, the staff works tirelessly to maintain the grounds, and they are extremely nice. The camp store is well stocked with things you may need as well. This is a Gem that we have been coming to for 3 years, and will continue to come to in the future.

Great visit. My parents have their camping trailer here for the summer and they hosted our family (8 adults and 8 kids total) over the 4th. We had the 2 cabins which were great, and really comfortable in the heat. The kids (ages 3-12) had tons of fun playing mini-golf and swimming in the pond. The owners are accommodating and are putting a lot in to upgrade the campground. Definitely recommend for family camping.

Great Campgrounds. I can’t say enough good things about the host. While camping there this past weekend we had severe thunderstorms roll through. Saturday night there was a tornado warning. They made sure to announce it, opened up the main store/office for shelter. The host did sing alongs with the kids to keep them from being scared. They also handed out free beer to the adults. The campgrounds are very clean, sites are nice. The pond and inflatables are great. This was our first time here, and we’ll definitely be back again

If you're in a camper or have kids this would be a great campground. But for just my wife and I camping here in a tent it wasn't the most enjoyable. We were camped up on the hill in the tent sites which offer quite a bit of privacy, but the sound carried up the hill, and on Saturday night they were having karaoke. We also had people driving around on golf carts throughout the night, obviously drinking and having a good time. If you're looking for relaxing and happen to tent camp or in a pop up this may not be the place for you.We stayed here with my wife's parents and step sister's family with kids, they both had campers and were comfortable and slept well and the kids had a blast with everything to do.

Would recommend this campground to everyone! My family and I had a fantastic weekend! The staff is very accommodating and go above and beyond for their guests! My children spent the whole day in the pond playing on all the water toys! We didn't have to pay any money to use the paddle boat, paddleboards or even life vest! Our family along with our friends cannot wait to plan another trip back!!!!!!

This was my first time camping at Glacier Valley and it was a great place. Even though it rained for the whole time I was there, I still really enjoyed my stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. I brought my camper and I was given a wonderful spot. The bathrooms were the cleanest I have ever seen in a campground. It was an overall great time and I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves to camp.

The owners are wonderful. They are running an awesome campground. We had so much fun at the Beach Party. They had all kinds of games and events. We even won the "duck race". The office has so many items for sale with their logo on it, not to mention a nice store for the things you forgot or the things you never even knew you needed. We will see you again. Thanks for a great weekend!

Celebrated Halloween with camp site trick or treating. Great experience for the kiddos. Very generous campers! Followed it up with music, dancing, and great treats for children and adults. Finished the weekend with free swimming, paddle boating, and stand- up- paddle boards in a beautiful pond/ pool. Could not have enjoyed the weekend any more. TY
