While our 4 year old dog was staying with the Animal Motel they had called us and said that she cut her paw. The indicated it was not serious and did not need medical attention. They also did not even know how she got the cut. When we got home we saw the the laceration went from the bottom of her paw pad all the way to the top of her paw. It was a horrific laceration. It was jagged and deep. We took her to the emergency vet and they agreed it was a significant cut, that it was not fresh and it needed to be operated on with internal stitches. Aspen had the stitches in for 12 days and had to wear a cone for 3 weeks. She wasn’t able to play jump or run. She was prescribed 4 different medications for pain, inflammation and to avoid an infection.Do not bring your animal here. The fact that they neglected to give Aspen the medical attention she needed increased the risk of infection. The fact that they don’t know how it happened clearly indicates they do not watch the animals.Lastly, they didn’t even offer to cover the medical expenses. I had to file a claim with their insurance and finally over a month later received some financial reimbursement (without any help from the Animal Motel who wouldn’t even give me their insurance information).

This is the 2nd time we boarded our 2 dogs here. Prices seem fair and our dogs seemed to like it here. We have 2 elderly chihuahua mix dogs so we asked them to be very carful with them as they are fragile being so old and everything worked out great. It is nice to be able to go away and have professionals take care of our dogs. we will surely be back on our next vacation

Have dropped our rabbit off for over a week 2 times now and have no complaints or issues. They are great and to be honest the rabbit cage was more clean than when we dropped the rabbit off in it! and it was cleaned before we dropped him off.

They have friendly staff that definitely paid attention to my critters and took great care of them! The online registration was very detailed, with sections addressing any needs or special instructions that pets may have. Pets can be boarded together, they have good rates, a convenient location, and good hours. I'll be using Animal Hotel again the next time I need to board my pets.

Only boarding place for our Pit Bull for the last 3 or so years. They are friendly and clean, you can schedule all kinds of daily add ons and treats including grooming services on the days they will return home! We always book him a suite with his on outdoor patio and extra cuddle time since he is not neutered and can’t mingle with the crowd. Great price and easy online booking.

Brought my dogs here November 2019. My little morkie got an eye infection that has never gone away. Three different vets couldn’t get it controlled. Past three years it’s been a constant battle that has spiraled out. My dogs were supposed to be kept together in their own space. I doubt that happened. This place was pricey and disappointing.

Extremely disappointed in the customer service I experienced from one of the employees at Animal Motel. After years of bringing my dog to this facility, without issue, I was told by an employee that my dog would not be allowed to come.This occurred because I asked this employee for his name, after I experienced the most rude reception I’ve experienced from any receptionist. Despite this, I remained polite and asked to speak with the owner or a manager of the facility. This employee refused to let me speak with anyone else and began to aggressively attack me, and asked that I not call the business. I later learned that his name is Tom.My attempt to contact the business was an effort to speak with someone other than Tom to hopefully mend my experience. I attribute this conduct to this person and him alone.I am saddened because I genuinely loved bringing my dog here and am afraid that this employee could have soured this experience forever. I am still hoping that the owner will contact me regarding my awful experience.Update: I recently learned the facility is under new management. This explains everything. My advice to the owner is to not to allow this Tom to drive away long standing customers of your business. His behavior was completely abhorrent and unprofessional.

Took my 8mo cane corso here as a last resort due to him not being fixed and the fact that they offer individual daycare. I did have my reservations about this place due to the mixed reviews and it was very suspicious that I was not allowed to see where my dog was going to be staying. Once my dog got home, he was thirsty and hungry and took a very long pee. He seemed to be okay but I'm beginning to think he was locked up all day. Go at your own risk, trust your gut because you don't wanna risk your dogs emotional/physical well being.

Very unprofessional business. My GF took our cat there for boarding and from the time she stepped in the facility up until we took our cat back and canceled service they've been very rude and unprofessional. Since when does a business take offense when asking questions pertaining to our pet and it's comfortability. Take your business elsewhere. WOW!!

I feel our 3 dogs were very well taken care of at Animal Motel...We normally take them with us. I just wish they had the app to be able to look in on your dogs like i know other places have. It would be nice to be able to watch our dogs from wherever we are vacationing but I do feel that our 2 Doberman pinchers and Cairn terrier were very well taken care of here so absolutely no complaints.

Experience seemed good,but my dog with a big voice came home with no bark! I reached out with no response of what they put around his neck. A week later, the bark is still not here. Staff we saw were very helpful, but we don't know what happened behind closed doors??

Boarded my cat here and when we picked our cat and brought it home.. it got sick and was throwing up. Also, there are no pictures or they don’t show you where your pet will stay. Super disappointed!!

We've been coming here for years. Having a couple of difficult dogs over the years, we've been nervous about boarding. We've always had a positive experience at Animal Motel and would recommend them. One of our current pups thinks it's one of the best places ever! We refer to it as dog camp and he knows exactly what we are talking about!

Our dog has stayed here four or five times for long weekends. We have had him bathed and brushed the last two times and they did a good job both times. I don't think he relaxes there very much because he comes home pretty tired.

Animal Motel has taken care of my two fur babies for many years. We board our pups there 3 to 4 times a year for vacations and they always take good care of them. The pups love going there too. It seems the owners and staff truly care about animals.

I was a little surprised at how much it was for only 1 overnight stay. I realize there were only 2 times we could get our dogs to take home and since we were out of town for the morning opening we had to wait until the evening time. I just was somewhat surprised it was so much for about a 24 hour stay. I would still recommend you guys as you take good care of our dog "children" and pay attention to them.

This is the first time I've felt compelled to post a negative review for anyone. I have been taking my dogs to Animal Motel for almost 20 yrs and I've had enough!! Since Daryl has taken over service has plummeted. A couple of weeks ago I stopped in for a walk in nail trim for my dog, during the designated time. No one was there to do a nail trim. Ok, when will the person be back, no idea. I left annoyed, but things happen. New policies are now in place regarding boarding. Unfortunately, I had to late cancel due to client emergency, (I'm a therapist). I thought I hope I might get a boarding credit in spite of the new policy. Also, had to pay 1/2 as a deposit when I booked. Lost the deposit, no credit. I've been a very loyal customer, but that doesn't seem to matter to Animal Motel anymore. I hope Daryl realizes that the deposit he kept is less than I would have spent as an ongoing client. Used to love this place, not anymore. Very disappointing for a long term customer. LT

First time here, not impressed at all! My dog was there 2 days, when I picked him up , I asked how my dog did! Just looked at me! Then wanted a tip! When we got home my dog drank almost an entire bowl of water. He also had to use the lawn immediately after walking out the door! Number 1 and 2!This was the only door boarding place that had openings, now I know why!I will definitely only use spa paw and tail going forward!!

Very rude to me on the phone. Tried explaning I had 3 months paid in full for dog obedience training. Since new ownership took over, they won't let me use that. I need to repay if I want to take my dog there. She also would not verify who the trainers are currently and hung up on me. They should value long time previous customers. Guess they don't care if they ever get my business. Horrible
