I like it better than other big box building stores their cedar us thicker making it a better product for exterior trim and siding corners ,and don't forget the 11% rebate

I've always found a good amount of the stuff I've needed at this Menards. I especially like their lighting selection. They have a good selection for LED light bulbs, but not many choices when it comes to smart lights or RGB color changing. There's not much interaction with the employees on an average visit, but I haven't had any bad experiences with them either

omg customer service lacking. after waiting in line for check out. a Manger came to do a draw count down, didn't acknowledge me or the other customers. stopped all activity for about 5 minutes, again no acknowledgement of the shear rudeness of the situation

Went to return a broke outdoor chair but I didn't have the receipt. Evan was at the counter and helped me with the machine( which I didn't know about.) And got me the receipt. And an in store credit. I found the same chair and was happily on my way.

Menards is more than just a home improvement store. It's a one stop shop for us, as they have almost everything we need. Employees are helpful, friendly and they know the store aisles. Store assocites are also helpful with advice. It's a store I really enjoy going to. Their prices are low and the sales are outstanding.

Really disappointed. I ordered a rug online to be delivered to the store. Then changed my mind and ordered a more expensive rug (that I liked better). I tried cancelling the first, but because it was already processing the system wouldn't let me. I assumed I could return/cancel when it came in. Just as you would any other item you purchase online. I just found out today that to return my $400 rug (that has not left their store), there will be a $100 restocking fee!! No where on my order did it say that. This is a premade item that I purchased online, not something they made to my specifications. Apparently the issue is that they carry this rug in stock, but I ordered a larger size, that they dont carry. Now it's subject to 25% restocking fee. Manager told me if we had purchased in store, they would have explained that to us. We were at the store and couldn't get any credible help from anyone. There were 2 different people in the department just guessing at answers to carpet and rug questions. I specifically asked about ordering this larger size. "Ya, they usually ship pretty fast. You'll probably have that in a few days." No offer to place the order for us. That's why we went home and ordered. Won't be back to this Menards, or any other. This wouldn't happen if I ordered my rug from Amazon.

Came here for some canning items but the shelf was lacking product. I suppose there is an increased demand due to the perception of increased food insecurity and supply chain issues.

Menards is my favorite home improvement store. They have about 95% of the stuff I need to do most projects around the house. The rest I find on Amazon or EBay.

I prefer menards to home depot or lowes because I feel they have a better selection and honestly they have a better lay out so things are easier to find.

If I could leave a zero star I would! Their customer service is horrible they truly do not care about their customers at all! I bought a dryer that I was told was in stock. Got it home and all hooked up to find out there was no instruction manual that came with it and then once I started looking at the dryer I noticed all kinds of little dings and scratches. I also could see where the sticker or signage was stuck to the top of the dryer. Come to find out they sold me the display model! If I would have known I was buying the display model I would not have made the purchase. I called to find out what the story is with this situation and where the manual and manufacturer warranty paperwork is. The informed me they do not have it. I asked for a little money back for having to take the display model not by choice. I was told they don't do that. And if I wanted a manual they could print me one. I told him this was not acceptable and I wanted to talk to a manager. He ended up having someone call me back later on telling me the best I could do was give me $10! Or I could return the dryer and they would special order me one. Well it's not that easy it's already in my basement and hooked up. I have medical conditions and I'm not able to do this stuff myself. So basically they pulled a slick one on me probably cuz they figured what is a crippled guy going to do about it. Basically I don't have a warranty or a manual and now I have a banged up new dryer I just spent $600 on! Ouch never expected to get screwed over by Menards! I would never buy anything from this store again! They truly do not care about their customers at all!

I want to give a big shoutout and Thank you to Humberto in the lumber yard for offering to help me load up some wood. I've made numerous trips over the years and this was the first time I was offered help loading up wood. Props to Humberto and Thanks again for the assistance.

I had a great experience at Burlington Menards when I bought my couch. Jason T. helped me with filling out the forms to pick it up later in the week. We just picked it up and they wrapped it great in plastic.Pickup was easy also easy Thanks for a great experience!

The man working the entrance for the yard should be more friendly and helpful. The person who brought out the order was very nice and helpful. Would have been all 5 stars if I only dealt with him

ONE star for SHERRI in the paint department. I brought in a lid from a paint can and wanted the same color. The old paint was satin, but I asked for eggshell. Sherri repeated to me you want this color but in eggshell and I confirmed. When she finished mixing paint for someone else, she mixed mine and it looked good. I walked away and a few minutes later I looked at the can and realized it was satin. I went back and told her nicely I had asked for eggshell and she said "No you didn't, you asked for satin." I said the old paint was satin, but I asked for eggshell. She continued to say that I asked for satin. I couldn't believe this mean woman was arguing with me. I took my phone out to call my husband who was right next to me when I first talked to Sherri, but was in a different part of the store at that time and I asked him if I asked for eggshell and he said yes. While I was on the phone she was saying she would make it for me in eggshell, but still telling me I asked for satin. I hung up with my husband and walked away leaving her with her mistake. Sherri needs to work on her customer service skills and stop arguing with customers. I will be going to Home Depot to get my paint!

This is my first time there in over a year. As I walked up to the entrance I saw a worker wiping down the handles to the shopping carts. The store was not busy as I was there around 4 pm. I found everything I needed, but one product so I asked a worker. He was very pleasant and helpful. Store appeared clean.

I enjoy this store. My only complaint is that the workers don't seem like they want to help. Almost like they hope you don't bother them. However, when I do go up and ask questions they have always been helpful and friendly. I'd also like to respond to the review made by Jenifer Loew that said this:"I will never stop at a store where the man who checked us out was dressed in a skirt, high heels, and nylons. Tons of makeup. Shame on you menards and any other business who allows this travesty!!"The travesty, is thinking that people who aren't the same as you are so terrible that they don't deserve to have a job. I applaude Menards HR department for being decent respectful human beings.

We are opening a new store in Burlington and John in the paint department has given us exceptional service. I am able to call in my order for paint and supplies and he handles us professionally and we never seem like a burden. Nice Work John.

Plumbing manager Justin had terrible customer service both times I had to deal with him as well as with my mother in law. He had no intention or want to solve a mistake that was made having materials at the store at pick up. Store manager was completely different and had a special trip made to pick up the materials and have them at the store ready to go, as originally agreed upon. It's too bad a lot of the more helpful employees there are represented by such a terrible manager as Justin is.

Usually the lowest price for whatever you are buying that they sell.I've had many friendly clerks, but the downside is you have to work hard to find the decent quality building materials in the piles.

Lynch is the place to go in Burlington, I spoke with Robert Christiansen , the guy is a real Professional , he had me in and out and driving in no time worked with me and got my payment where it needed to be , I would definitely go back to lynch and definitely buy my next car from Robert, there was no hassle at all and in todays world that just makes life easier, thanks again Robert !!

No air conditioning, hot and uncomfortable. You don't even get a server. Fish fry was so nasty (potato pancakes were the worst).Cold, dry and old. Baked was over peppered and greasy. Fried wad all breading and hardly no fish. Didn't give my husband his fries. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Whatever you do, do not deal with Pam at the customer service desk. She has ZERO common sense and absolutely terrible customer service. I have never had a worse experience than dealing with her. I caught her lieing to me and just continued with more lies to try to get herself out of it and then tried to hide her name so I couldn't talk to her manager about how she treated me.
