I received TOP NOTCH service from Store Manager Adam! My wife and I were at the front end customer service checkout line and had a question regarding a product that I was about to purchase. Store Manager Adam was called to the front to assist, which he quickly responded to. Adam listened to our concerns as he provided us with excellent customer service! We will certainly be coming back for future purchases at this store, thanks to Adam. He is a much appreciated and valuable asset to Dunham's Sports! Thank you Store Manager Adam! 👍

You can tell they are understaffed.I was really hoping for a good experience as my first time in there trying to find kiddos football gear. Lack of staff/help we bought 2 things that we could locate on our own and left.

Shelves are well stocked. Wide variety of gun and hunting supplies. The clothing racks are a bit close. Lots of continued discount items that seem to be the same price for extended time. Staff was friendly. The floors could use a good cleaning. Prices are comparable to the other local businesses

We asked the cashier if they had a fitting room. He said “in the back” and radioed over the loud speaker for someone to help at the fittings rooms. After finding where it was on our own and standing back there for a while, no one ever came to help. (Fitting rooms were locked) On our way out we saw an employee sitting in a chair in the middle of an isle talking to another employee.

The twice that I’ve visited this place… both times all the employees were welcoming - greeted and smiled at me and my 3 little kids. This last time I went… I drove almost 2hrs each way to this Burlington location from IL to buy 2 kayaks that I wanted. From the moment I walked in, David greeted me and was so incredibly helpful with pulling it from it’s racks to letting me sit in it on the floor, to checking it out at the registry. All of it with a smile on his face the whole time. He insisted on hauling both the kayaks by himself to the registry too although I offered multiple times to help. Aaaand he spent a good amount of time helping me put the kayaks inside my minivan with me. If it wasn’t for his help and confidence in getting help with them from the beginning till the end (when I drove off) - I wouldn’t have opted to buy not just 1, but 2 kayaks. It’s employees and people like David in the world that allows customers to come back to a business, and make their day that much brighter. Thank you David for your patience, humor, kindness and expertise! And thanks Dunham’s for making my difficult, long trip to and from you guys - worth it. And thank you for having the best price for the kayaks. If only you had the option to ship it (at a doable price for all the kayaks) is what I’d suggest. But for now… my family and I will definitely be back.

I went to the gun department to make a purchase. Fully committed to buy. The manager on duty was helping 2 gentlemen. I let him know that When he had a moment I wanted to see a gun for purchase and set my ID on the counter. While I was standing ther waiting now for 20 minutes after the gentlemen in front of me decided not to buy he walked away while I was talking with them. My ID still sitting on the counter, I waited for another 10 minutes and finally walked out. Not only was the mod wearing a white sleeveless t-shirt with no ID or nametag he made no attempt to come back to take care of his customer that was ready to make a purchase. When I left I called the store and asked for a manager to file my complaint. Not only was it the same person but I didn't even get an apology. I got an excuse that he had to go help his cashier. Yet as I walked out of the store there weren't even any customers. I told him that he just lost a sale and he was like "thank you and have a good day". I will go to the Racine location to make all of my future purchases. I have made 4 purchases from Dunham's all for the same thing but I will never waste my time going to the Burli gton location ever again. No customer service and I guarantee with the amount I was going to spend today would dwarfing purchase he had to help his cashier with. Let alone he could have said I will be right back. I guess customers aren't important to this location. Have a great day. I know I will even I travel 40 minutes to make my purchase of what I came in for since Burlington doesn't seem to care.

Good prices, but all the clothes are kind of randomly organized. The shoes all seemed very picked over, not many of any kind in my size. The employees seem to congregate only at the registers and aren't readily available for questions.

i will not give a rating. i was in the Burlington store yesterday Sept 16th at 11:30 am.. i was looking for ammo and an older gentleman asked me if i worked there. i told him i did not. i asked if i could help him. he said no and that he wanted to buy a firearm and had been walking around for help. . i yelled as loud as i could is anybody home a few times. the whole store heard me. no one came to help this guy. as i was walking to the entrance i saw the female manager trying to hide from us. she was making her way to the rest room. when i got to the service desk there was a line of people. i asked the clerk if she was the only one in the store. she said no, that others were there. i told her that i was not directing what i had to say to her, but she needed to tell the manager i was not happy.. i went online and it is impossible to talk to someone on the phone and you can not leave an email because we are limited to 500 letters. i have had problems there before. the manger needs to be fired.. i did find their hiding spot. it is in the rear of the store on the right hand side.

Terrible service. I was going to buy a chair that said $9.99 on the tag below itBrought it up to the front desk and they said it was $54.99. I thought stores are supposed to honor the price shown so I wasn't worried until the manager went back to the chairs and started moving them, hence removing the evidence the chairs were $9.99. I then went to buy a pair of shorts that were marked $35.99 and when they rung them up they were $40.00 I was so frustrated at this point I just left.

They filled my kids paintball gun tank with CO2 and it burst in my house. It was a new $50 tank, I didn't know better because I was the errand girl. Won't get into details because the guys were real apologetic about it, but there was very little effort to resolve the issue. All talk, no compensation for the mistake, inconvenience or getting the tank inspected and repaired or replaced.

Had everything we came for. If you want a kayak, I guess this is the place to come! They seemed to have hundreds. We were there for baseball stuff, and got all we needed and my two daughters enjoyed all the "stuff" they had. Will be back.

Have had a few experiences here when I've shopped in store for awhile, have multiple items to purchase only to find out at the checkout that the internet is down and they can't accept credit card. I don't carry a ton of cash. If it was just once that would be understandable, but this has happened multiple times.

Went in today, 3/6/19 to buy a pair oh shoes they have in their sales brochure. Sale good till 3/7/19 it says. Shoe is on back wall showing on sale but no where in store are those shoes to see or try on. Go to front and they call for assistance. 10 minutes no one comes. Clerk apologies and says only 3 people working. This is at 11 am . And claims certain price shoes all in back . Well this store lost a $49.99 sale as well as a customer.

The management and employees here always seem to be a week spot. I don't really blame them for not being motivated because they barley pay over minimum wage. Turn over is constant.expect to stand in line forever and check your prices because they never seem to all ring up right. Hate going here but it's kinda the only show in town for any kind of sporting good selection.

Have a great selection on sporting goods and other items. Staff are usually hard to find and never been greeted but that's not somthing I need to go shopping although it is essential for keeping a good business motto for having returning customers know your shopping at a friendly store. 1 star off for friendly staff and 1 star off for always having a bathroom out of order.

With 50 people in line on a Wednesday morning they only revieve 1 box of 9mm with 50 rounds. Why would a shipper send just 1 box. Not a case but 1 box. 3 boxes of 22. Not a case like every other ammo store in america but just single boxes. Very strange but a weekly occurrence at this store.

Dunham's Sports is conveniently located in Burlington, so sometimes I'm willing to sacrifice price point for convenience instead of driving to a cheaper sporting goods store in a bigger community. Unfortunately, I will no longer be patronizing this Dunham Sports for the near future. When I arrived to make a major purchase, I was disappointed by the number of employees not wearing masks during the pandemic, especially considering they had a sign posted at the entrance saying they were enforcing the mask mandate. They clearly are not. Out of the four employees that I encountered during my recent visit in late March 2021, only one was even attempting to appear to be wearing a mask, and she had it under her chin. The rest were not wearing any masks, even at the checkout counter. I understand the discomfort of enforcing rules with customers, but more customers in the store were wearing masks than employees, so this appears to be an issue with management and not the clientele.

I prepurchased a gun safe here at this location which is 20 miles away. I sent my assistant and a Bobcat/trailer to load safe and bring back to south shore of Lake Geneva.They were never given the keys or manuals. I called Adam the manager again and asked him to place in the mail since this was a big inconvenience for me." I cant do that.. We dont have postage allocation monies"..That really urks me ! What a $1.50 ?A managers job is to step up and service customers. Too bad because I believed in Dunhams. Not anymore.
