Dr Miller and her staff are the kindest, most compassionate vet and techs I've ever had. They made the experience of palliative care for my dog, Angel one of reassurance and strong team support. I only wish I had discovered Dr. Miller and team when I adopted my older girl. Dr. Miller is a holistic vet, specializing in nutrition, which is why I sought her expertise.Yesterday, my girl earned her wings, and I'm grateful for Dr. Miller and Michelle's guidance, understanding, and thorough explanation of the process, and for allowing me to spend as long as I wanted with my baby. It's never an easy experience but I know my girl was in good hands. I felt supported and was even offered hugs, which I gladly accepted.Thank you, Dr. Miller, Michelle, and Katie for compassionately guiding me through this past month's journey with Angel. You are a blessing!

These people lie and do not care about animals. We were told that they would euthanize our old and sick dog. My wife spent days before our appointment under the belief these were her last days with our dog. When we arrived at the appointment, the secretary had us sign the euthanasia paperwork and choose which memorative paw print style we wanted. We were still being led to believe that our dog was going to be euthanized when the veterinarian came into our room. We asked to have an exam performed before just to confirm our suspicions. She confirmed our suspicions and told us our dogs illnesses were not curable, but she would have to run a bunch of tests to find out what medications she needs. Since our dog has walking pneumonia, a heart murmer, and collapsing trachea, among other issues that aren't curable, we decided to move forward with euthanasia. At that point, the veterinarian and secretary said they could not euthanize without exhausting all options to make sure she was terminal. We were left completely confused because we were not told this when the appointment was made. Why would they have us pick out a paw print memorial and sign a euthanasia consent form before "exhausting all options?"" We should have been told that they would not even consider it until they ran tests and we tried every treatment possible. We paid for her appointment and left appalled at the entire experience. After calling another veterinarian, we were told this is not a normal experience and they would move forward with the euthanasia for us. Go somewhere else where they actually care about the customers, pets, and people.

We love Dr. Miller she is diligent and caring! She always follows up like she says she will and the staff is amazing. Everyone there really takes the time to explain everything to you and your family and will give you every option available for your pets care.We drive about an hour to have our furbabies seen by her. It's worth every mile driven to have our animals feel safe. Gizmo always roams around the exam room with 0 fear!

The vet is very knowledgeable. The staff are very helpful and kind. I have a dog that needs a special diet. They have helped maintain her status with minimal medications. And has been weened off all medicines except one... that one has been cut in half. With fewer vet visits and no surgeries. My fur baby looks and feels much better! :)

Dr. Miller and her staff are exceptional and always supportive to me and my 4 dogs. Unlike many vets, Dr. Miller always makes time for my questions and concerns and never makes me feel like my concerns are irrelevant. I highly recommend her office and always have a positive experience at every encounter

Dr Miller has always been wonderful to us. I’m more of a holistic person myself and she’s always been great about giving options for holistic supplements vs standard medications, explaining our options, educating us on the right decision, and no judgement on the route we take. They are a successful practice so they do get busy, so there has been a time or two I’ve had to call back, but they’re human and I can see when we go in how many people they are working with at a time. She always takes the time to explain things clearly with my pets, and has shown them and my family a lot of empathy and understanding.Recently, we had an appointment for our cat with a suspected UTI and when we arrived home, our 16 year old dog was in rough shape and it was time. Creature comforts did us a HUGE favor and allowed us to come early with both our pets, so we could get our cat taken care of right away and put our dog down so she was no longer suffering. I consider that to be above and beyond because I know how busy they are and they were absolutely free to turn our pup away.Dr Miller had already given us an extra 5 months with her by successfully treating her with antibiotics and holistic pain meds when she was on deaths door last time. We weren’t sure what to do with her at the time, but Dr Miller said “just give her a week, if she starts to perk up a little, great, and if not, we can have the other talk” so that’s what we did and sure enough, we were given that extra time with her and she was happier than she had been in awhile with her pain properly managed.Be kind. This place gives so much to the community that they have every right to set boundaries with how they are spoken to and treated. They have the lowest prices in the county with the best care. I’ve been taking my animals there for almost 10 years at this point and have always been impressed by the level of care we’ve received.

I took my cat to Creature Comforts Vet for the first time to have a lump on her jaw checked out. The vet came back telling me she had a very rare cancer. The tumer was in her jaw. She couldn't tell me what type of cancer it was and referred me to a oncologist. I waited for a long time to be seen and even though I had a appointment they didn't have record of it and said they were having computer problems. They were not compassionate and made me feel uncomfortable. I did not want to go back a second time but she was already diagnosed so l took her back to have her euthanized there was nothing more I could do for her. Again l waited and just help my cat after 20 to 30 min. a lady comes in and tells me how much it was going to cost and needed the payment now. How rude did they think l wasn't going to pay? I will never go back there again. The second time there was no better than the first time and it was hard enough on me to even be there..

Very knowledgeable about all things regarding pet health. Just a wealth of knowledge and very thorough medically, nutritionally and holistically.

My cat was in bad shape and quite the demon for 3 years even after being neutered. After taking him here, he got adjusted, proscribed ear mite meds, and pain meds. After a month, he no longer needs any medication, and it has completely transformed his behavior. I will be taking my dog here today, and I will let you update in another month or so.

I had a similar situation as other reviewers on Yelp (please check those out). I was never told when scheduling my appointment that a urine sample would be done, so my dog went potty before coming in. They said they could try giving him some water and I could walk around the grounds carrying a giant ladle behind my 6 lb. dog to see if I could get it that way. I made the mistake of thinking giving my dog water meant offering him a dish of water to see if he was thirsty enough to drink, but I found out when I looked closely at my bill that they charged me to hook up IV fluids! I left a message regarding this, and the doctor replied with an email. I explained that I have never had a problem paying for any services but have always been told of costs upfront. Had I known they were charging for fluids, I would have just given my dog some water and come back a little later for the urine sample. I found out the hard way you are not allowed to question anything. The response to my email reply (that I will more than happy to share with anyone wanting to read it) was a letter sent to my house saying that since I lived so far away, I should find another vet that is closer. This was a great place the years I was there and they had a different vet (and the reason I started going there), but not anymore.

Had an appointment to get my dog put down. Had us wait an extra 25 minutes with no apology or communication. Afterwords we were told we would have privacy and a nurse comes barging in not 10 minutes after. Seems as they were trying to scoot us out the door so they could close up for the night. Afterwords the Dr told us to take our vitamin C cause she is sick. Gross and unprofessional.

I was looking for an alternative medicine Vet. I found it Dr.Miller. While trying to do spinal manipulations ,found our dog had been injured very young. With her help our dog has stayed active as possible , supplements, laser therapy, at home laser, massage acupuncture, stem cell, pain management. She has even expanded and learned new skills to help more patients, including our dog . I am old enough to have seen vets through harsh drugs (much like medical doctors ) giving temporary relief and permanent dependance with ultimate liver or some other organ failure. She is aware of this and works very hard to avoid it .We really appreciate all her hard word and research.

I love this vet clinic. They offer options for treatment plans or maintaing health. They treat my animals for their specific needs. I feel they are just as invested as I am to help my dogs with any issues. I have recommended this vet to my neighbor who has a yellow lab, Honey, that is 12 years old with severe arthritis in her hips and could barely walk. We got her in and she received a laser treatment; which my beagle also had for a pulled ligament in his neck (a few years before) He could barely lift his head for days, the day after treatment he was feeling so much better. Honey had pretty instant results as well. The staff and Drs are amazing I will continue to take my animals here!!!!

There’s no communication, all of my pets info was supposed to be uploaded to an “app” they recommended and never was. I tried scheduling an appointment to get my cat neutered. Got left on read when I asked the cost & told them I could make the appointment. I messaged closer to the appointment date to see if it was scheduled and now they are booked. 0/10 HIGHLY disappointed after hearing good things from friends & family about this place. 😔

I will never return to Creature Comforts owner and Vet Dr. Miller. Following is a list of the reasons: claimed she did not have time to fill out one paragraph and fax a pet insurance form. I responded every vet service I've gone to hasn't had a problem faxing it in. Told her I've been with several different practices, 1 for 30 years another over 20 along with 6 other specialist services for over 30yrs. She dared to state I have had other problems with you. This issue was that she wanted my Social security # and Driver’s License # (again no other practice has ever requested this information nor have I failed to pay any vet bill on the spot). I responded, it is my legal right to withhold my social security # for privacy reasons. “That is not causing trouble it is just my right”. Then stated “the practice has been paid cash in full as requested”. I told her that she was giving up hundreds of dollars of future services as I have 5 pets and ensure that anything and everything in our power is medically done for them. I am absolutely. I walked out and said cancel any appointments previously set as I'm done here. What a crazy irrational person.Response from my partner (together we have 3 cats and 2 dogs all rescued and unclaimed of the streets of Milw. or adopted from humane societies. We do not question how much we spend on their short lives with us). “It is her loss.”I've never met a vet that has so little respect and regard for humans as well as strange rules.

Brought my dog in with kennel cough which this holistic vet gave him fricken mushroom capsules instead of an antibiotic which I asked for. Later that week my dog ended up in the emergency room with severe pneumonia and water in his lungs! $1700 with antibiotics that he should have been given in the first place my dog is slowly coming back to himself. DO NOT USE THIS VET!

The service at Creature Comforts has always been excellent. We've taken our 3 Goldy's and our 2 cats here for years. Everyone here is very accommodating and friendly. Wouldn't think of ever changing vets.

Dr Miller is the most unprofessional person I have ever met in my life, and treats her employees HORRIBLY. I don’t know why anyone would want to spend there money at an establishment that looks like it hasn’t been cleaned since the 70s. She harasses employees after they’ve decided her clinic is not a suitable place to work, as well as jeopardizing future work for said employees. Stay far away from this nut bag

I volunteered at this place for a couple weeks as a requirement for a vet tech program, and then was abruptly kicked out and told to never come back by the veterinarian, because she told me I didn't fit the bill for the vet tech position. Last time I checked a veterinarian is supposed to encourage, teach, and help a volunteering student who is interested in the field, not stomp on his dream and criticize him. I recommend any vet clinic over this place as it is run by a disrespectful person.
