Our shopping experience (3 of us) was fine. Satisfied with everything except--I bought a whole tenderloin, around $50. Excited to have a wonderful meal (5 of us) and had the worst meat I've ever bought. There was not one bite of meat we could chew. I am not exagerating! Not one single bite any of us had that we could chew without pulling out pieces of tough ??? to throw away. What a disappointment. Don't know what it was but it was not tenderloin. Some of what I have left I cut into small pieces and cooked it till it was tender and made beef & gravy over potatoes. That tasted pretty good but very expensive for a 'common' meal. Needles to say we will not make a 3 hour trip again.

Whether you want really good meat and traditional Belgian trippe, or you want to stock your home or cottage, Marchant's has what you need. It's a full hometown grocery store with enough treats to make the whole family happy. We like to stop there on the way to Door County to get any groceries we need.

Best butcher West of the Mississippi, I love when it's time to pick up my 1/4 steer. I'm always satisfied with the price of the butchering and packaging. The workers are very helpful and friendly and another about them is they have amazing pies. It's about a hour away but definitely worth the drive. I highly recommend this place.

Best meat in the area and one of the only places I know to get Belgian Trippe. We regularly purchase trippe and side pork here. Here is my Eggs Benedict made with trippe. Delish!

Great options for fresh cuts, awesome brat selection. Fresh baked buns and other grocery options available too. Skip the big crowded grocery store and easily pickup more than you need for dinner!

I love this place. I live in Chicago but vacation in Sturgeon Bay. Worth the drive for the quality of meat and really pleasant employees. It's small so don't expect a huge selection of products but what it lacks in size it makes up in charm: a throw-back to locally owned grocery store.

For a small town store, they have a little of everything you need including the time when we needed a thermometer to check a temperature of a sick friend. Their meat department is wonderful. Love this place!

I went there for fresh side pork, and I found side pork in the freezer with the Rhines on, which is something I haven't seen in a very very long time. And of course I had to get a cherry Belgian pie. I purchased a little over 8 lbs of fresh side pork . All the employees in the store are very friendly and helpful!!

I have been a customer for many years...I shop there not just for my meals at home, but have gotten whole pigs for my catering and restaurant. They have the BEST QUALITY and I love the fact they do all there cutting right in house so you know it's fresh!!!!! I'm addicted to their BelgianTripp!!!!

I think my great grandmother and my great grandfather Beatrice and Willard did a great job building this store. And it change so much from just the meat now to everything. And the pies yummmmmmm the best. Ohhh and the donuts yummmmmmmmmmmmm

Between my husband and myself We have come to Marchants grocery when we travel to DOOR CO WI. since 1982. We always stop and purchase our groceries here. Our absolute favorite is any meat or chicken selectionsWe also have been overwhelmed by the superior and very friendly customer service they provide. As an example: We called to check open hours on Sunday. We told them we were running late and we would be close to closing. They replied they would stay open until we got there. Who else would do this? THANK YOU.
