We have been getting most of our meat from North Pasture Farms for quite a few years. The quality and flavor is always excellent. Steve and Caroline are the nicest people and respond to questions and requests very quickly. I also love that we can get fresh ham roasts to do North Carolina style BBQ--those are hard to find, and SO good. And the prime rib roast we got for a special occasion was the best I've ever had. Highly recommend.

I have not visited the farm but I started ordering my meat from them. Their chicken is good. My future orders will therefore be broader. The way they raise their livestock (including care of their land) is the best I know of. Also they are near enough to where I live that I consider them local. Finally, they are good and responsive communicators.

We buy most of our meat from North Pasture. It is different from meat bought at the supermarket: the flavor (and texture) is deeper, richer, more concentrated, "meatier." My grandparents farmed, raised much of their own food, and I grew up eating meat like this. North Pasture meat is more expensive than store-bought, but I suspect one gets more nutrition, and more satisfaction, from it. Stew made with this meat is SO much better than stew made with conventional meat. A roast chicken really tastes like food, all by itself, rather than filler in need of a jar of barbecue sauce to make it interesting. And I trust Steve and company relative to organic practices. I have four children, and I want them to grow up strong and healthy, not weakened by constant exposure to chemicals and additives I can't even pronounce.

I started getting meat from North Pasture Farms quite some time ago. Steve and Caroline are great to deal with and they are good people! I don't think you could find a better source for grass fed, pasture raised meat. Ordering is easy, and deliveries are predictable and convenient. I think if you give them a try, you will also come to realize what really good meat tastes like.

I was introduced to this farm on a neighborhood site. Looking for an organic farm to buy from, I bought the sampler packs, I was late to order per the delivery schedule in Waukesha, most of their items were sold out ( a good sign ).Happy Meat always tastes better. The beef steaks are full of natural robust flavor, no watered up grocery taste. The bacon curing is sublime, My only regret is not buying more this time. Bon Appetite!o

A few years ago I decided I wanted my family to eat local food raised by organic, ethical farmers. I found North Pasture Farms and gave them a try. The meat was flavorful, raised in the region by small farmers and delivered to a coordinator two blocks from my house! Since then I have placed orders every month. Steve and Caroline are awesome folk, respond almost immediately and strive to take care of all their customers with top notch service. My favorites are pork and chicken products and I pick up steaks about every other month. My dog loves the pet food! But best of all I feel way better eating local, organic meat and like the fact that I can purchase from "neighbors." Can't give a strong enough recommendation for North Pasture Farms. Give them a try and you will eat better!

We heard about North Pasture Farms and their great grass fed meat from a neighbor and have been regularly purchasing for a couple years now. The quality of the meat is great, and I definitely prefer purchasing pasture raised meat from a small farmer. Everyone raves about the bacon (true), but we also really like the brats (both kinds) and pork chops. We typically have ground beef in the freezer, and short ribs in the cooler months.

I love the meat from North Pasture! The taste is great and I know that the animals are healthy and treated well. They deliver all over, so I only have to drive 10 min in the Milwaukee area for my pickup. Prices are also better than other places I've looked for Pastured meat.

We recently moved back to MN and were looking for local farmers who utilize regenerative farming, feed animals a 'natural' diet (ex. grass for cows) and don't use antibiotics. We purchased a half pig, several pounds of chicken backs and ground beef from North Pasture Farms. It was great that they deliver to a neighbors house. The owners were extremely prompt replying to our order requests and even worked with us to trade out some items normally included in the half pig bundle that wouldn't work for our family. Great products, great people, great practices for the enviornment!

We live in Brookfield, and are able to pick up in Brookfield. What a deal! Ordering is easy, communication with real people is wonderful - and don't get me started on their bacon. Boy oh boy is that some tasty, crispy pastured pork. They have lots to choose from in the organic, pastured and natural varieties of meats and all are highly recommended. Everything from ham to chicken and all kinds of beef, you'll be a happy camper.
